I'm not here to bash on any specific fandoms. Everyone has their likes and dislikes, but that's not what I'm talking about here.

I'm talking about the type of people who are in fandoms, and the type of people who are in fandoms, and on Wattpad.

The Defensive

The Defensive is a fan who goes to books of fandoms that they don't like purely to hate on the fandom.

This is not okay.

I don't think that this chapter is going to be revolutionary or anything, but I'd you happen to do this, just hear me out:

How would you feel if this happened to you? Would you like it if someone commented on a chapter that you worked hard on, saying that your fandom stinks and that the books/shows/movies that your bool is based on has terrible characters and plots?

The Shipper

I'm all for ships. If you find yourself fangirling over a certain couple, then that's completely fine! I enjoy listening to people who are passionate about a subject, or a ship. It's great to see how much people can support something.

But what I ABSOLUTELY DETEST is when people make up dumb ships of characters who only have platonic relationships.

This is the scum of any fandom, and I'm sure you can all agree. I'm not talking about shipping Person A, who is obviously in love with Person B, with Person B, who only sees Person A as a friend, together, that sounds like a cool ship.

I'm talking about when Person A and Person B are clearly friends, and people start saying "oh, I totally ship it!"

The Hole Poker

The Hole Poker is that one person in the comments who seeks to point out every little discrepancy in a story.

From spelling mistakes (I don't actually mind people who do this; it helps with the overall quality of the story), to blowing every tiny plot hole way out of proportion, this person is the one commenter that you're probably kind of annoyed to see.

The Plagiarist

The Plagiarist is someone who, tou guessed it, takes someone else's story, changes a few names, and passes it off as their own.

This mostly happens to more popular stories. Someone will get jealous of someone else's great fanfic, and steal it in an effort to get their own fame.

This is kind of illegal, but this is the Internet, so nothing way too bad can happen. But still, don't plagiarize. It's a terrible idea.

Those are the only ones that I can think of. If anyone has some suggestions, I'll gladly make a part two.
