Chapter Thirteen: He Returns Part One (Hades)

I was sitting near Tartarus, hoping that Percy would come out soon, and he did.

He hopped out of the whole, but he had ripped up clothes and a whole lot of scars, and some open wounds.

I ran over to him.

"Percy!" I said. "How did you get out?"

"Well I was fighting some aria and one of the 'curses'" he did bunny ears "was from Bob. It was for a safe passage out of Tartarus!" He started giggling like a crazy person.

"Nico has been worried about you the past few weeks," I told him. "What happened to you?"

Percy stopped giggling abruptly, and frowned.

"A few weeks?" He asked.

"Yes, a few wee. . ." I trailed off, and my eyes widened. Time works differently in Tartarus! "Oh, Percy, how long were you down there?"

"A few centuries," he said. "Is Nico here?"

"A few centuries," I mumbled under my breath, my eyes wide.

"Percy," I said. He looked towards me. "Can I please give you some powers? I want to give you some powers."

Percy shrugged. I shot a beam of black light at him, and he got some new powers.

"Percy," I said. "You can now shadow travel, move around shadows, and blend into the shadows."

Percy started giggling for a second like a crazy person.

Well, who wouldn't be a crazy person if they had been in Tartarus for a few centuries.

"What happened in Tartarus?" I asked him. He shuddered at the word "Tartarus."

"Oh, you know," he said casually, "just some monsters and Kronos torturing me."

My head was spinning.

He was tortured?

In Tartarus?!

"How do you see Tartarus?" I asked.

"You know," he said. "How it actually looks. Now can I go to Camp please?"

"Yeah," I said. I told him how to get to Camp. I also told him that the other gods and goddesses might want to give him powers and that if he didn't want any more, he should at least accept Hestia's.

I magically repaired his clothes and gave him a cloak. I knew he wouldn't want the attention of all the scars.

I watched as Percy ran in the direction I had told him to go in. He can run really fast. I wonder when he had gotten time to practice. Well, it didn't seem like he was eating, so he wouldn't have a lot of weight to carry anyway.

Thinking about it, ever since they were in Tartarus, Poseidon and I have been getting a lot more food than we used to...

Well, I'll think about it another time.
