ALISSA'S POV

Laying down on this cold hard floor,everything is a blur.

How many days, months or weeks it has been, I have no idea. They keep coming in here torturing me with all that they have.

Broken with no remorse, the only solace in this horrible place are the memories.

Memories of the once happy times I spent.Those vivid memories keeps me alive filled with the smallest amount of hope that She will come for me, or might try atleast.

She is nearby I could feel that but.......

Thinking of her I am reminded the best of my memories that keeps me sane in here without losing hope.

MEMORY

I have wondered quite a few times as to how it was going to be when I meet my mate.

It never came into my mind as to consider that my mate wasnt going to be a man.

But standing here in front of her, and staring at her like I have seen a ghost and running away was definetely not what I thought would have happened when I finally meet my mate.

It was hard for me to register the fact that she was my mate  and that I was not straight. It was because of  my past repationships due to which I never considered this to happen.

Oh right you guys might be wondering "What?!?!".

So lets go back to some time backwards.

It was a normal day with me hanging out with my friends days after my birthday last week which was when I was supposed to meet my mate but was disappointed.

I had been uptight ever since and this was not what I was expecting.
Anyways, We were busy doing well what girls usually do when they hangout and had stopped at a restaurant to have dinner.

Like any other day I ordered what I wanted and everything was going okay until...

The bloody dish had mushrooms in it which by the way I was severly allergic to. As usual as to what happens when a person gets allergic reactions, I started choking then slowly slipped into darkness.

Opening my eyes I am met with bright lights shining right into my freaking eyes.
Adjusting to it I notice I am at the emergency at some hospital and also that I feel totally fine. Getting out of the bed I walk to desk that I saw right infront of me.

"Hello! How may I help you?" The sweet lady asked who I am assuming is a nurse.

"Hai! I was wondering whether I can leave or not? and before you ask I came in I dont know how long before due to severe allergic reaction!" I asked and said before she could ask what happened.

"Oh yes you came in about half an hour ago and i guess your bed no is 6. Its just when you came in someone else was on duty here, I just started my shift. Anyways I will get the doctor who attented you." She said and picked upthe phone to ask for the doctor whoever it was.

Half an hour ago..

PATRICIA'S POV

"Hey, a patient just came in due to severe allergic reaction. And yes I know you dont deal in that department but right now you are the only qualified doctor available so pleaseeee!!" Scarlett said without any space in between rushing out everything.

"Okay, Lead me !" I said so as to not argue anymore.

We both walk into the emergency when I am hit with the most sweetest and mesmerising scent I have ever smelt coming from the other end of the room where bed no 6 was placed

"Mate!Mate!Mate!" My wolf starts chanting.

I walk faster towards the bed no 6 and see the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. And the fact that I am not exaggerating for the sake of it and that she is actually is really pretty blows my mind.

"Pat!!! You need to look at her, its getting worse I think!" Scarlett's voice brought me out of my reverie.

"Umm, Yes!" I said and did the necessary procedure to bring down the reaction.

"I think this would be enough, She should be fine with some and please do let me know when she wakes up like really really let me know and also didnt anyone come with her?" I asked.

"Yes okay I will let you know and again Yes she came with a lady who is currently filling up the forms.

I had to try my hardest to keep myself from growling.

"Wake mate up! Mate! wake up !!" My wolf keeps on chanting in my head.

"Shut up woman! she needs to rest we will talk to her when she wakes up! okay?" And I shut her off.

"Is she going to be okay?" A woman asked me approaching from the doors.

"Yes, She will be fine and can I know how you are related to the patient?" I asked her.

"Oh thank God I was worried. I am hust a friend. When will she wake up so that I can take her home?" She asked me

"It might take a while but if you want you can leave I will personally make she sure she reaches her home safely." I said to her.

"Thank you! I would have stayed but I really need to get going and do tell her to call me when she wakes up and can I know your name?" She asked me .Obvioulsy she wouldnt be comfortable  leaving her friend with a stranger.

"We no stranger!! We her mate!! We no harm her!!" Again my wolf said.

"How the hell did you come put of the barrier?" And before she could anawer I cur her off again.

"Its Patricia" I told her just wanting to kick her out ans have some peace from all the questioning.

"Okay. Then I will take your leave and by the way my name is Raven." She said left sashayin her way out.

Present time

"Hello" I said picking up the phone.

"Hi, doctor. The patient is awake from bed no 6" Lara said.

"Okay I will be there in a min."I said cutting the phone.

ALISSON'S POV

I waited for the doctor so I could leave as fast as possible.

Waiting I am hit with the most amazing acent I have ever like literally ever smelt in my entire life.

This means only one thing,

"Mate!"
"Mate!" My wolf and I say at the same time.

I look around for my prince in shining armour
but couldnt see any man here but the scent seemed to get closer.

A doctor came in front of me and thrust her hands forward introducing herself.
I didnt mind her because I was busy looking for my prince thats when I noticed the scent was coming from the person directly in front of me...

And thats when ladies and gentlemen did I think running would be the solution.

I ran outside and hailed the cab I saw immediately and jumped in giving them my address.

"Ohk., What the hell Ali? did you just run away?" I asked myself feeling stupid.

"Oh shit, shit, shit !!!!" I said out loudly realising that she might think I rejected her.

"Excuse me can you take me back to the hospital I just came out from" I asked the man and He nodded taking a sharp U-turn.

Reaching there I run back into the hospital and reach the desk.

"Hello, I am sorry to disturb you but can you tell me where that doctor who treated me is at?" I asked her hoping and praying she would tell me without any problems.

"Sure, go straight and take a sharp left and the room on your right would be her office." She said smiling at me and if I am not hallucinating also excited to send me there.

I thank her and walk towards the office.

I cant even say whether I am excited, nervous, scared or altogether terrified but I realised I need face this. The Moon Godess doesnt make mistakes when it comes to these kind of things.

Standing in front the door I contemplate whether to enter or not when I hear a voice say,

" Come in dont stand in front of the door staring at it like a freak."

I am not kidding when I say I melted when I heard that sweet melodicious voice.

Why did I run at the first place?

Taking a deep breath, I enter the room praying that everything goes well.

She is sitting behind her desk facing the wall behind I cant see her face.

"Hey!" I greeted nervously.

I have no idea what happened but the next moment I am slammed on to wall and a pair of lips meet mine.

I am shocked at first and dont react but before she could pull away i locked my hands behind her head and kiss her back.

Unfortunately, we had to pull apart to breathe. She leans her forehead on mine and looks into my eyes and thats when I notice her red eyes. She has been crying! Shit she has been CRYING!

"And whose fault is that?" my wolf retorted.

I place my hands on her face.

" You have been crying.I am sorry i didnt mean to run away like that, its just I wasnt exactly expecting it to happen I mean my birthday was about a week ago and then you were in front of me suddenly and then..You are soo beautiful what do you do to your skin anddd..." I was cut off with her lips on mine again.

"You talk too much!But I can get used to it. That is if you stay and want me!" She says the last sentence with sadness and remorse swirling in her  eyes.

" What? NO!! Ofcourse I want you its just I never thought I would you know swing that way!!" I said embarassingly.

She chuckled amusement shining in her eyes.

Oh those pretty,pretty mesmerising eyes.
I could spend hours just staring at those beautiful orbs of  grey.

A hand snapping at my face brought me out of my reverie. A blush crept onto my cheeks when I realised I was checking her out.

"I know how it feels but you will get used to it. I felt this way when I first discovered it. That day was kinda funny because it happened with my best friend......" She continued talking chuckling at the funny parts but after the first few words I couldnt continue to concentrate because I was filled with a sensation that I have never felt before.

" Its called jealousy dumbass!!" My wolf retorted.

"So, will you?" She asked me.

Ok I didnt hear a thing she said but I will just go with it.

"Sure?!" I said uncertainingly, with a sweet smile on my face hoping she wouldnt know I didnt listen to one thing she said.

"Wow, okay then. I will text you the address and can I consider it a date?" She asked hopefully.

My eyes widened realising  what she had asked but I think even if I heard the entire thing in the first place I would have certainly said

"Yes, You can and I will be aaiting for your text!" I said to her beaming with joy and we exchanged numbers not realising what horrors lay ahead in out future.

MEMORY ENDS

I wish we had more time together, I wish I had cherished those little moments we had, I wish we hadnt fought that unfortunate day, I wish I hadnt.....

So many regrets with no turning back..

Out of all these wishes, the one I want the most is to see those oh soo pretty, pretty mesmerising pair of grey orbs again, to get lost in it for one last time, to breath in the amazing scent forever, greedily.

And for all of this to end for good.

I would never take her for granted again.

Closing my eyes, I will myself to sleep but its interuppted with the door bursting open.

I guess atleast one of my wishes came true.

But never realising it came with a huge price.

A price which caused me to lose my wish forever never to return.
