"Give it back daddy" Sophia said, jumping to try and get the popsicle Drew stole from her.

"Why should I give it to you if you have been giving mommy a hard time?" Drew asked, lowering the popsicle and putting it up to his mouth as if he was about to eat it.

"Nuh-uh I wasn't. Stop lying daddy." Sophia says trying to go for the popsicle again but this time Drew put it in his mouth and took a bite causing Sophia to scream. Jess runs into the kitchen to see a crying Sophia and a popsicle stealing Drew.

"What is going on here?" Jess said, putting a hand on her hip.

"He started it."

"She started it."

The two said simultaneously, pointing fingers at each other. Jess rolls her eyes and goes into the kitchen and gets Sophia another popsicle.

"Wha-no fair" Drew pouts while Sophia sticks her tongue out.

"Watch it missy or you are sleeping with the raccoons." Drew said, pointing a finger at his daughter.

"Enough of this. Sophia honey go play in your room. Me and daddy need to talk." Jess says, angling Sophia to her room. Sophia skips all the way over, popsicle in hand about to throw a tea party she will make Jess and Drew join in on later.

"Now, why were you eating her popsicle?" Jess said, as Drew pulled her in closer against the counter.

"Because she was giving you a hard time all week and I don't like it when you are stressed." Drew said, pecking Jess on the lips.

"I appreciate it very much. Thank you." Jess said

"Is it bad that I want another kid?" Jess asked looking at Drew

"If we did, what would we name it?" Drew asked as Jess thought for a moment.

"What about Carter if it's a boy?" Jess said.

"We still have time to think about it but I like that name. Although if it is a boy we have to name it after Chase somehow since that's what he wanted." Drew said freeing Jess from the counter and going to get a drink.

"I forgot he said that." Jess said laughing as Sophia came running from her room telling them it's time for the tea party.

"Daddy I want you in the pink fluffy thing." Sophia says holding a boa. Drew hesitates until he sees Sophia's puppy dog eyes and eventually gives in knowing he can't say no to her.

"Fine."

"Yay. Tea party starts in one minute." Sophia says and skips away to her room again.

As the two were walking to Sophia's room, Drew leans in and whispers something.

"After the tea party and she goes to bed, you want to try for a boy?"

"We'll see."

ok so ig the story is officially over unless you wait for the bonus chapters but if you don't read those thank you again for coming along this journey i started in july. i honestly thought this wouldn't get past a few hundred reads but it did.
