Recently, as you know I've been single, so I decided to try some dating apps. First it was tinder but nobody got my attention. That was until I somehow ended up on Erin.

I was surprised to see her on here so I wiped right, and after an hour I got accepted. At this point I had to text her (i am aware you can't text people internationally but go with it. They will use whats app).

The next week or so has been exactly like that. Late night texts or calls depending on their mood.To make it fair so Erin wouldn't have to always stay up late, Rudy would sometimes so it was always her.

It is now late at night and Rudy can't sleep. He has been tossing and turning all night and doesn't know why.

"Ugh" he groans and gets out of the bed to get a glass of water. Bracing the cold floor he made his way to the kitchen, grabbed a cup and filled it with water.

Sitting there staring into space, he decided to do what Jess told him before they left.

"Remember, if you ever need to talk I'm here." Jess whispers and walks away as Rudy makes his way to the boarding gate.

So he decided to text Jess and ask her what to do.

For the past week Rudy has been bugging Jess to see if Erin said anything. All she would say is she forgot to ask but she already has that information but won't tell him till he admits he likes her.

"Playing matchmaker is fun" Jess thought as she sent Rudy a screenshot of what Erin told Jess but not the whole thing since she didn't want him to read some stuff (dont come at me I cant edit)

The next morning Rudy decided to facetime Erin telling her his feelings. After a few rings she finally answers. (fyi im not gonna say who says everything unless necessary so rudy is italicized)

"Hey Rudy we usually don't have our conversations till later what's up?" Erin says with a confused face

"I just wanted to tell you something that's been on my chest for a while"

"What your scaring me"

"I like you" Rudy says as Erin stares at him, mouth gaped from shock. She wanted to say something but he beat her to it.

"I know you might not like me back but I just needed to tell you before I ended up driving myself insane"

"I'm stopping you there because I like you too" Erin said with a smile

"Oh thank goodness. But what happens now?"

"Well if you are ready I was hoping you would be my boyfriend"

It took Rudy a second to realize what she just asked but once it clicked he almost fell off his chair.

"Oh yes I would love to be your girlfriend shit I meant boyfriend sorry" Rudy stumbles on his words and eventually stops talking.

"Long distance it is for now"

"I guess"

"Wait! I forgot Im filming in LA for a while so we won't have to do long distance the whole time"

"I forgot and you can live with me"

"Problem solved"

"Well I have to go pack since I leave in two days"

I have an audition for a show called Dynasty and I couldn't be more excited. I haven't really had a big project since Outer Banks so this feels like a Dream. As I'm packing a got a text from Rudy.

I laugh as I close my phone and finish packing and put on Good Vibrations but The Beach Boys.

After an hour I finally finish, then I get what I can put into my carry on and call it a day. I called the Chinese food place for dinner since I wasn't dirtying any dishes tonight and put on a movie on Disney Plus.

The next day Jess flew to LA and checked into her hotel. (yea im aware that Dynasty was in Atlanta but for the sake of the plot its in LA).

Since she had nothing better to do all day she decided to go get some lunch from a nearby place since the airplane food was not very good. After venturing she settled on a smoothee place.

"Hi, what can I get for ya today?" The cashier asked

"Hi, can I have a chicken quesadilla and a mango magic please?" Jess said, pulling out her card and paying. Walking over to the pickup area she sees someone familiar.

"No" Jess whispers to herself wondering why she is here. She can't fully see the person but it looks like Erin.

"Erin your order is ready" The cashier said, which is all Jess needed to walk over there and tap her on the shoulder.

"Jess? What are you doing here?" Erin asked since as far as she was aware Jess should be in New Jersey.

"I could ask you the same thing" Jess states but answers her question. "I'm here because I have an audition tomorrow."

"No way so do I. I hope you get the part" Erin says

"Thank you and I hope you get whatever role you want" Jess says as her name gets called out to get her food.

"Hey I have nothing better to do today so would you like to hang out for a bit today?" Erin asked hesitantly not knowing if Jess would say yes.

"Sure seems fun" she said back.

So for the rest of the day the two hung out and got to know each other better.
