back to the program

Amaries POV:

I have been sitting down on the steps of Jesse's house for around an hour waiting for her to get home. You could be wondering why I'm back and that's because I need to tell everyone why I did everything. First starting with Jess.

Finally I hear someone get out of the car and ask "Can I help you?" Then I turned around and she looked stunned.

"A-amarie? What are you doing here" I heard the confusion in her voice and hesitated for a bit before walking to me.

"I can't explain it right now. I need everyone and you were the first person in my mind. Also I need to give you another one for being a shitty friend." I said shyly not knowing how she was going to react.

"You have five minutes" I hear her say as I try to pack everything I have to say in that time.

Jessica's POV:

To give a rundown on what Amarie told me (bc the author was too lazy to write something), she gave a heavy apology for saying the things she had said when we all filmed together and was spreading fake information about me. She told me it was her sister that made her do it because she was blackmailing her which I can see because her sister is a wacko. As for why she wants everyone else together was beyond me. I have no idea how this is happening but after seeing Drew in the coffee shop, I have no idea what is happening anymore.

Erin's POV:

Being on the other side of the world sucks because it's hard to keep in contact with everyone. Thankfully I leave Australia today to go on a little audition which is exciting for me since Outer Banks was the only thing i've done.

I asked Jess if it was alright to have Rudy pick me up from the airport because I only have their numbers right now since I cut all contact with Drew off. She said yes because they were not together anymore which was news to me but I'll ask her about that the next time I see her if I remember.

*Time skip*

I arrive at LAX trying to find my luggage then Rudy. Once I found him, I gave him a hug and proceeded to take me to his car and to the hotel I was staying at for a while.

"So how have ya been" Rudy asked

"It's been pretty good. Not much has really happened. What about you?" I ask since I'm curious on what everyone has been doing.

"Nothing much. I might be in a movie with Tom Holland but I don't know if I got the role." He says which makes me squeal because I love Tom Holland.

"Are you trying to damage my ear drums?" He asked which made me laugh and proceeded catching up with each other until we got to the hotel.

"It was nice catching up with you." I say as I give him a side hug which he returns.

"See ya soon" He says as I get my stuff from the trunk and make my way inside the hotel but not before waving Rudy goodbye.

"Are you sure I'm not missing anyone?" Amarie says to Jess as they sit in her living room about to send a text to the cast asking to meet up.

"I'm sure now send it before I change my mind about this." Jess says as Amarie hits send

Very quickly everyone replied to the message.

"Yo wtf"

"This is sus man"

"Ok I need an explanation anyways"

"I don't trust you buy arl"

The list goes on for everyone asking and saying things but reluctantly, they all agree to meet in two days.

*Time skip 2 days later*

Today is the day everyone is meeting and nobody knows how this is going to go. The doorbell rings revealing JD and Sean. One by one they all start rolling into Jess's house making themselves at home.

"Okay I'm just getting straight into it because I want to get this over with." Amarie says as everyone stops their side conversations.

"I would like to say sorry for the way I treated you guys before and it was all my mom and sister. Jess already knows what my sister made me do, which wasn't okay. They have always been jealous of me for some reason claiming I've become successful and how it should have been my sister and not me. My sister blackmailed me into saying all of this shit about Jess on social media and I really wanted to tell you but I didn't know what she was threatening me with so I just did it." Amarie took a breath and continued.

"I know this isn't an excuse for my actions and I simply could have said this over text or something but I wanted you to be in person for me to say this because it was easier this way for me."

Everyone was silent until Austin said something. "So are they still blackmailing you?"

"No not that I'm aware of because apparently I didn't do well enough for them" Amarie replied.

Question after question came and this was a part of the reason Amarie wanted this to be in person.

After around an hour or so of answering all these questions they all decided to hang out like old times even though the atmosphere was a bit tense for some.

Jessica's POV:

I was kinda enjoying my time with everyone again for the most part but I think we just haven't seen each other in a while. It was hard to start where we all left off since it was in different spots.

I was grabbing a drink from the fridge till Erin came up and startled me.

"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you but can I ask you a question?" She asked, which made me nervous.

"Sure" I said after a moment and told her to follow me to my room.

"I know we aren't really close or friends but I remember a while ago we started to trust each other a little bit." I got caught off guard not even hearing what else she was saying because when she said trust it brought me back to the day in the bathroom.

*Flashback*

"No Erin, I'm not fine. I'm not particularly fond of you but Drew said those exact words to me when we were together. I just don't want him to play you like what happened to us." I said actually trying to give her a bit of advice.

"I'm still trying to figure out what happened with you guys so can I get your side of the story?" Erin said and for a second I almost said it but then I didn't. What if she uses this against me or something and makes me look like the bad guy. After some back and forth in my head I finally decided to tell her because you know trust.

*End of flashback*

At this moment I knew I could trust her as crazy as that sounds but it's only because of that day.

"Jess" Erin snaps her fingers in my face causing me to come back from wherever I just was.

"Sorry what did you say I zoned out" I asked as she repeated the question.

"I said what happened with you and Rudy, why did you break up?" She asked,  which caught me off guard again because that was an out of the blue question.

"Oh- uhhh" I pause trying to get myself together.

"We found out we were better off as friends than really it" I say as she looks at me with a confused face which I don't get since I told her the reason.

"I thought you would have lasted. You should have seen the way you guys looked at each other when you thought nobody was watching. There was so much love." What she said caused me to look down since I knew what she said was right.

We did look at each other like that most of the time but you know sometimes it just doesn't last the way you thought it would.

"Oh. Well all good things come to an end right?" I ask

"I suppose" She said as she gets up from my bed and is about to leave when I stop her

"Wait" I say as she turns around and looks at me.

I have no idea what made me do this but I hugged her. It took her a moment to realize what I did but soon she copied my actions.

"I know I'm still trying to warm up to you but I think this was a step in the right direction." I say and all she does is nod her head.

"I better go before they think something happened to us" She said as I agreed.

Bidding their goodbyes to one another once again, everyone went their separate ways beside Erin and Rudy since they were going back to the same place.

Before leaving Jess pulled Rudy aside and said "I see the way you look at her Rudy and I think you should go for it" she says with a smile.

"You think so?" He questions and all Jess does is nod her head and go in for a hug.

"Yeah. Now make sure you let me know when you get back." she says

"Will do"

And with that, they all wouldn't be in the same room together for a long time.
