Was Drew Starkey and Jessica Reed's friendship all a bet?

Today during an interview the two did together, you could spot them having a heated argument that we got on camera.

"Are you fucking kidding me!" Jess and Drew screamed at the same time in front of all their friends.

Jess stood up and pointed a finger at Drew "See this is what we get for not taking that conversation outside it's on the internet forever and everyones gonna hate us" Jess groans and throws her head back while trying to think of what to do.

"Hey, it's e news for crying out loud. They post like ten stories an hour. I doubt anyone will see it guys." Madeline said, trying to ease the conversation.

"Sean! Are you paying attention you barely said anything all day" Jess snapped her fingers in his face, breaking him out of his trance.

"Yeah sorry I was just thinking about how we could get the article down" Sean said which made everyone turn their head to him telling him to say his plan.

"It's a long shot but I know someone who works there. I can try to convince her to remove the article before more people see it." Sean said which made everyone instantly pipe up and told him to call the girl.

"Okay while Sean does that I'm going to Target because I haven't been there in a while" Jess said as everyone said goodbye except for Drew who asked to come with her.

"Haven't you done enough today Drew. I need time away from you because all you've been doing since we met was make my life difficult." Jess snapped which made everyone collectively gasp in shock of her outburst.

"O-oh okay i'm sorry" Drew said hurt because all he wanted to do was apologize for making this mess happen.

Jess slammed the door shut and Drew stood there motionless from what she just told him. "all you've been doing since we met was make my life difficult" was the part that kept circling through his head.

"I'm sure she didn't mean it Drew" Rudy said, trying to comfort his friend but it wasn't working since Drew just shoved Rudy away then opened the door and left.

Jessica's POV:

I was making my way to Target just to look because why not. The moment I slammed the door in  Drews face it made me feel bad. If you could see the amount of hurt on his face you would think he just got told someone died.

I get broken out of my thoughts the moment I step outside the lobby doors because all I see is paparazzi with their flashy cameras and microphones asking me so many questions it's overwhelming.

"Jess, is it true you bet on Drew?"

"Did Drew also bet on you?"

"When you said that I love you was fake, did you mean it?"

"Jess why did you bet on Drew Starkey"

"Jess"

"Jess"

"Jess"

I heard my name going around so many people it made me want to walk right back into the lobby but I couldn't since they would somehow make that a whole story as well.

All I could do was try my best and push through the bunch of people and try to make my way to my car.

Drews POV:

I was going to go after Jess even though my conscience said it wasn't a good idea. Then again, when do I listen to that.

When I make it to the lobby I see her surrounded by paparazzi as flashing lights. "Shit" I think to myself.

Part of me wants to help her but I only know that will make it worse for her so all I can do is wait and hope for the best with her. Thankfully I see her going to her car even though the paparazzi are still around her car.

I see her back up not giving a fuck if she runs over one the the people. She revs the car and they all move away from the car watching her speed off down the street. "This is my chance to make everything right" I think to myself.

I make my way out the door and see the paparazzi making their way over to me. I brace myself for what I assume were the same questions they asked Jess.

"Drew, did you bet on Jess?"

"Drew"

"Drew"

"Drew"

"Drew"

So many questions are being thrown at me I don't want to answer any but I do

I take a breath and say what I have to say "For all of those asking yeah Jess was a bet and I regret it every day. She was the best thing to happen to me and now she's gone. Jess also made a bet on me too and I don't know if she regrets it or not but all I know is that I truly do love her even if I told her I didn't. I was lying and I want it to work again but thanks to that fucking artlice that wont ever happen now." I wanted to say more but didn't.

Instead all I did was stick up my middle finger at the camera and went back into the apartment lobby. When I made it to the elevator I broke down. I don't know why I just did because all I want is for me and Jess to be alright. Even if what I said makes her hate me more, at least she knows that I love her.

As Drew makes his way back up to the apartment he spots Jess at the end of the hallway crying. He immediately made his way over to her and sat down next to her.

"Hey what's wrong" Drew said wondering what she was crying about.

Jess sniffles and wipes her eyes "Did you really mean what you said to the paparazzi?" she questioned with many voice cracks

"Of course I did. I know you might not believe it but I really do care. Yeah we ended on bad terms bu-" Drew didn't get to finish his sentence as Jess threw her arms around Drew and hugged him while Drew hugged her right back.

"Can we try again?" Jess said after breaking apart the hug.

"I would like that a lot," Drew said as she got up and helped Jess up.

"So, Jesscia Reed, will you be my girlfriend? Again?" Drew smiled as Jess nodded her head

"I would love to be your girlfriend. Again" Jess laughed as they made their way back to the apartment. They were about to open the door until Jess stopped Drew and said "Can we keep this a secret for a little while please." All Drew did was nod his head and say yeah.

The moment the two walked through the door everyone looked at them with smiles on their faces. "We saw what you said Drew the video is already out everywhere" Madison said smiling

"And don't try hiding your relationship with us. We heard it all from the door" Chase said as both Drew and Jess laughed and agreed.

"Oh, was Sean's friend able to remove the article or not?" Drew asked

Sean stood up and showed the couple his phone where the article used to be that's no longer there "Boom baby" Sean said as he went into the kitchen getting drinks for everyone.

The rest of the night consisted of drinking and playing Mario kart and everyone passed out on the couch or floor.

i might get one more chapter in before tomorrow but i don't think i will also this shall be on hold for the next week
