Plantleaf stared at the Moonpool before dunking his head into the cold water.

Oopsies, that's not how we talk with StarClan.

He felt a cat grab his neck and pull him out.

"Poolpool, I would have just let him drown." Moonpool stated. Her shimmery bright blue eyes turned away from Plantleaf.

Poolpool sighed. "We can't do that. And why in StarClan's name did someone name you Moonpool?!"

Moonpool shrugged.

Plantleaf turned to the Moonpool (the pool, not the cat) and touched noses with the cold water.

A cat flashed before him.

"Cupcaketail!" Plantleaf gasped. Cupcaketail was his mate from RiverClan that was exiled and died a bit later.

I know, lots of lore. She isn't important.

"Go to the Dark Forest, Plantleaf. Your existence basically killed me." Cupcaketail turned away from her former mate in sadness.

"No." Plantleaf told her. "Give me prophecy."

Cupcaketail turned back to face Plantleaf again. "Mystical and Magic will stop the Demon before it ruins ThunderClan with his evilness."

Plantleaf let out an exaggerated gasp. "I WONDER WHAT THAT MEANS!?"

As Plantleaf booked it out of the Moonpool hollow and back to the ThunderClan camp, he really didn't know what that prophecy meant.
