Stolen Kisses
"You mean, in seventeen years, you've never kissed anyone?" Sirius had a hard time speaking through his giggling. Sirius was sitting on the couch with James, Peter on the floor, and Remus in an armchair.
"Don't be so rude about it, Padds. But honestly, James? No one?" Remus didn't look up from his book as he spoke.
"Stop laughing, Padfoot! And yes, honestly." James let out a big sigh. "I have a date with her tomorrow. What if I am a lousy kisser?"
"Oh you can't be that bad," Peter chimed in. "It's not very hard. Even I can do it."
Sirius' laughter redoubled, and even Remus chuckled a little.
"You mean, even Peter kissed before you?" Sirius couldn't contain himself.
James blushed and shoved at Sirius.
"Is it really that odd?"
"Well, my first kiss was at 13," Remus piped up.
"Mine too," injected Sirius.
"I was 15," Peter added.
James groaned, and his head fell. Suddenly, James felt his face being grabbed and squeaked a small noise of surprise. Before he knew what was happening, Sirius was kissing him. Not knowing what to do, he kissed his friend back.
"OI! Why are you snogging someone who isn't me? Actually, forget it. It's James. I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner." Remus turned back to his book shrugging.
"Same here," Peter looked at Remus and then back to his other two friends. Finally, James pulled away.
"Wow, you're a good kisser. See? Not that hard either." Sirius shrugged before walking over and plopping down into his boyfriend's lap, knocking his book to the ground.
"That was my book, love." Sirius bent down to retrieve the fallen book.
James also seemed to finally shake his shock.
"You git!" James was now very red in the face. In fact, Sirius would say he matched the Gryffindor shirt he was wearing. "You stole my first kiss!"
"Well, you wouldn't stop fretting, so I decided to help. Not hard, is it?"
On their wedding day, Lily laughed at the story of how Sirius Black stole James Potter's first kiss.
