Change Of Plans

"Bob what do I do?!?" I hissed frantically into my phone as I sat down on the edge of my bed, trying to . "Dude, just be chill okay? You'll freak him out if you're not. Besides, I think your plan is going to work perfectly." Bob assured me, then hung up. I paced around in the apartment Sean and I shared. I darted back into the bathroom, smoothed my crisp white button down shirt and black dress pants at I quickly brushed a hand through my vibrant red hair and began the annoying process of putting on my red tie. I didn't have much time left before Sean would come back here after going to get groceries. I didn't feel even a little bit ready as Sean entered through the door. I was surprised to see that he was wearing a dark blue suit and tie, along with polished black business shoes and his thick framed rectangular black glasses. "Oh-um..." He stuttered, caught off guard. "What's with the suit?" I asked. "Why are you wearing a suit?" He countered. "You first." I prompted. "By all means, after you." Sean gave a low dramatic bow, causing his neon green hair to fall in front of his eyes. "Will you go on a date with me?" I blurted. "Uh, sure." I could tell Sean was thinking hard about something, but I couldn't figure out what. "I was thinking dinner at the Precinct, it's a steakhouse." I suggested. Instantly Sean's face turned pale. "Uh-okay." He agreed hesitantly. "You doing okay?" I grabbed his shoulders gently and looked into his icy blue eyes. They wouldn't meet my gaze for more than a second, meaning that he was worried about something. "Fine." He assured me quickly, then strode into the bathroom and slammed the door shut behind him. I could've swore I heard him talking to someone in the bathroom. I shook my head on confusion as I called back Bob. "I think I did something wrong. Sean is right now freaking our in the bathroom." I told him. "Don't worry about it." Bob instructed, then hung up again. I growled in frustration as Sean exited the bathroom, looking more cool and collected. "Ready?" I offered him my hand. With a smile he grasped it as we walked side by side to my car. On the way, we talked about how our channels were going as the radio played soft jazz music.

Glancing at the outside, I could see why it was rated as a five star restraunt. There were red and black couches lined up outside on a small platform under the sign. Mark sat down on one of the red couches and put my arm around me as I sat down by him. "This is nice." I sighed in content as we both watched the stars that shine brightly in the sky, along with the moon that felt like a spotlight focused on us, bathing us in its dim white light. "If you'll follow me please." A waitress instructed in a light Danish accent as she came up to us. My mind flashed back to Signe, but I quickly pushed the thought away. I hadn't seen her in years. I shook my head as I walked with Mark after the waitress. "I'll just start you two off with some sparkling water. Let me know when you are ready to order." With that, she placed a crystal goblet filled with a clear bubbly liquid on either end of the table, then left again. "After you." Mark pulled my chair out and gestured for me to sit. I nodded in appreciation as he pushed my chair back in, then he sat down in the chair on the other side and took a sip of his water. He gave a little cough before he took another sip. "You doing okay?" I asked as I took a sip if my own sparkling water. "Yeah, I think I just choked on my drink a little bit." Mark cleared his throat. "Where are the menus?" I wondered aloud as I searched the table for them. Mark shrugged in response as he downed the rest of his sparkling water, his hands trembling slightly. As soon as he finished it, the same waitress returned and refilled Mark's glass. "Hey, where are the-" the waitress quickly left as soon as she came. "-menus." I sighed. "I'm sure they'll bring then soon." Mark slurred, his face a bright red color. "What's up with you?" I frowned as the waitress finally brought the menus and handed one to each of us. "I'm fine, really." Mark hiccuped as he ordered his steak. "Sean, there's something I've been wanting to tell you." Mark said once the waitress left. "What's up?" I asked. "We've been dating for a while now, and..." He trailed off as his eyes rolled into the back if his head. He collapsed face first onto the red table cloth covered table. "Mark?!?" I shook his shoulder frantically. I whipped out my phone and started to fail nine one one before my phone was smacked out of my hand. It was the waitress. "Remember me?" She grinned. "Signe, what are you doing?" I backed up slowly towards where my phone was lying on the ground. "You're my boyfriend!" She argued. "No, you tricked me!" I countered as I inched closer to my phone. "Ah ah ah," Signe ran and beat me to it, holding it in her hands. "How about this. You marry me, and I'll give you your phone back. If not, well Mark had a pretty good life." She negotiated. "Sean..I'll be fine." Mark breathed heavily. He slid out of the chair, took a couple of wobbly steps before tripping over his own feet and collapsed to the ground. "Mark!" I quickly ran over to him and held his head in my lap. "We're getting out of here." I whispered in Mark's ear. He gave a slight nod as I helped him stand up. "Heh, I can just imagine the headline now. YouTube celebrity Markiplier dies at age twenty-seven from allergy to alcohol." Mark chuckled softly. "Oh he isn't going any-" "Get her!" A large group of teenagers cried as they rushed towards Signe and tackled her to the ground. "Who are they?" I asked as I helped Mark walk out of the restraunt. He grinned as he unlocked his phone and showed me his newest tweet that told the fans what was going on and where he was. "Good job!" I congratulated him. Suddenly Mark went limp in my arms as he fell unconscious again. I grunted as I managed to carefully lay Mark back down on the ground as I used his phone to call nine one one.
