Josh pov

Come on Josh, I thought to myself. I was finally going to come out as gay to Bug. After all, we've been best friends for years so I don't think he'l judge me too badly. Unless he does and then hates me forever. Fuck, why is this so hard?

"Josh, are you-" said someone behind me.

"AAAHH, DON'T COME UP BEHIND ME LIKE THAT!!!" I'm easily scared, don't judge.

"Are you ready to go?" Bug asked while still laughing at my outburst. Rather than answering, I got into my truck and we headed off to school.

"What's wrong Bug?" I noticed him wincing every time he moved his legs. After everything that happened with her, he had started cutting himself. He must've had a really bad nightmare because he hadn't touched a blade since his little sister had come into his life.

"Nothing... I ... jumped off the roof again." He replied hesitantly. I know this is a dick move, but he gave me permission to if I caught him lying about it. Without warning I slapped his thigh and got the reaction I knew was coming. 

"FUCK SHIT BITCH!!! What the hell Josh?" He punched me in the arm as hard as he could. I would like to say that he was weak and it didn't hurt. 

I would like to say that.

"So now that your weird ass string of cuss words and your lie are out of the way, what's wrong?" With a sigh he told me about last night and I felt bad that I hit him. Lucky for him my mom is a nurse and taught me how to stitch a wound. Coach is going to be pissed that I'm late but Bug needs my help.

"Off to my house we go." I guess I'll tell him some other time.

Kaci pov

Today is Lily's first day of school and I get to take her. She has her black hair in two buns on the sides of her head with her bangs out. Her outfit is an a-line dress that's black on top and pastel pink on bottom which goes great with her pale skin. To finish it off, she has plain black converse and a my little pony backpack. 

"Aww, Lil you look so cute!" I said enthusiastically. 

She smiled wanly, "I'm scared. I don't want be bullied like at my old school."

"It's ok bumblebee, if people are mean, just tell the teacher and then tell us when you get home." I said reassuringly. I really hope today goes well because this sweet little angel deserves nothing but happiness and love.

Suddenly an idea popped into my head.

"What if I came to eat lunch with you, would that be okay?"

Her face brightened instantly. "You would do that?"

I laughed. "Anything for my little sister. Now, lets go find out when you have lunch."

After talking to her teacher for a while, it was decided that either I or my brother would come to eat with her until my Mom gets home from deployment, in a week. I can't wait for her and Lily to meet. Unfortunately I now have to get to my own school.

Bug pov

While getting my stitches from Josh, Kaci called me explaining the Lily lunch stuff.

After about twenty minutes my stitches were done and Josh and I rushed to school.

Somehow, we made it on time, pleasing Josh. I honestly give no fucks about being late. As I walked to first period I ran into a bitch I hoped wouldn't return this year.

"Hey Bug." Eric said, his voice dripping with false kindness.

"What the fuck do you want, Erica?" I replied, glaring at him. I didn't feel like putting up with his idiocy today.

"I just wanted to talk to a stupid idiot." I raised my eyebrow at him.

"As opposed to what, a smart idiot?" I asked with a smirk. He was about to punch me when I got lucky and the schools football star, Simon, walked by and stopped him.

"You punch him, I punch you. Got it?" He growled. Simon HATES bullying. Satisfied with Eric's fearful nod, he walked away.

"You got lucky you little bitch." He said angrily before stomping away. After a moment, I followed their examples and walked to class.

I know I disappeared but I'm back and will attempt ( but probably fail, sorry) to update regularly.
