Anyone who has ever spent an amount of time gaming, especially the online variety, will be able to relate to each and every word of this brilliantly written short piece. The same can be said for many a frustrated wife or husband who spends just as much time shaking his or her head in despair whilst the lawn needs mowing or the washing needs hanging as his or her spouse spends firmly entrenched upon the sofa with a headset on, a controller in hand and a six-pack upon the coffee table.

The reader cannot help but be drawn into the virtual reality world hellvis creates. Such is her skill with the written word the author crafts a believable tale that one finds oneself wanting to experience first hand.

The characters, from the inept Jack to the apparently experienced gamer in Tuck, feel so incredibly real. In fact I suspect any reader would be able to replace Jack and Tuck with individuals from their own social circles and find them to be a perfect fit.

I thoroughly recommend this piece, in fact I think you should probably click the link above and read it right now.

At a mere 500 words it takes less time to read than it does to cook a packet of Super Noodles so you really have nothing to lose and you never know, you might just find a new favourite author!
