The two continued to search for Golden Guard's staff and actually found it a short time later. "There it is!" Said the younger one, relieved, and went over to it to pick it up. Then Darius started to grin again. "Oh ~ now Mr. Magic is back." Golden Guard felt his own face blush out of emarrassment again and he turned to the larger one, clutching the staff tightly. "I said you should stop doing that!", He said it with a somewhat desperate undertone which made Darius giggle slightly.

The smaller one sighed and went on with his head bowed. "Oh come on ~ at least you can use them again now." "Yes, exactly." Golden Guard rolled his eyes under the mask, knew exactly what Darius was trying to tell him. "Would you like to fly with me or would you prefer to stay here with our friend?", The younger asked now and already jumped on his staff. "Urgh! Of course I'll come with you! It's bad enough that we've been here for so long!" The larger one also climbed onto the staff and again, held the egg with the help of his hand and his abomination force, while he now held on with one free hand.

Golden Guard took off and they could finally start their way back to the castle of the Emperors in peace. It didn't take long until they were there. Together they entered the longed-for halls of the castle and passed some familiar faces on their way, then a coven scout came to them. "The Emperor is waiting for you in the throne room," he announced before continuing his way after Golden Guard's words. "Then let's go ~", said the smaller one and ran in front, Darius directly behind him. "Yes ... I hope I can change quickly.", The bigger one sighed.

A few minutes later they reached the throne room and entered it at the emperor's request. He was sitting in the room himself on his throne and looked at the two newcomers. Then he spread his arms almost as a sign of relief. "Ah! So you made it after all.", He spoke in a deep voice. Golden Guard stopped a few meters from the elevation of the throne and nodded, Darius stopped next to him. The Emperor pointed to a table on the side of the room. "Be so kind Darius and put the egg there, then you can go. Golden Guard and I still have something to talk about."

The taller of the two nodded and hurried to the table and laid the egg, relieved. Finally he could change! He went to the door quickly, but not too rude, and noticed the Golden Guard standing rigid. Was he looking worried under his mask? However, Darius was only surprised for a short time because he then focused again on his clothes and finally left the room ...

With continued fast steps Darius ran to his room, took off his shoes in front of it so as not to pollute his beloved floor. When he finally stepped inside, he looked around with relief. "Back at last.", He uttered and changed, then brought the dirty things away, keeping them far away from himself, wearing a pair of clean shoes again.

When he had everything tidy and above all clean again, he decided to look for Eberwolf to see what his little partner had been up to during his absence. He eventually found him with the Plant Coven and Construction Coven leaders, who turned around when they heard the larger one approach.

Eberwolf came running over to him with a happy noise and was about to climb OVER him, but Darius managed to fend off this, otherwise he would have had to change AGAIN. Slowly it was enough for him even more than usual for today when it came to dirt. "Ah there you are.", Said the Construction Coven leader and Darius nodded in response. "And how was it to have a mission with the Golden Guard?", The Plant Coven leader then asked, which all three of them made to look at him expectantly.

The Abomination Coven Leader thought for a moment. "It was sometimes very annoying, but actually it was okay," he admitted, which actually made the three look a bit surprised, they hadn't expected that. He didn't tell them that the golden boy had no magic without a staff. So he could at least make a little fun of it on his own, after all, he now had something to tease the smaller one with when he had to do it.
