It took some time until he had told them everything, most of them looked shocked, they had to process this new information first. Hunter himself stood in front of them rather nervously, he was the bearer of this bad news.

"We'll figure it out." Gus suddenly spoke from the side, he was shocked too, but managed to keep a clear head. "Are there any people in the coven who are on our side?" Hunter hesitated before nodding. "Yes...three coven heads."

"Three, that's not much, but it's a good start," said Principal Bumbs, relieved. "Who?" Edric asked curiously and looked at Hunter. He hesitated again. "Well, Darius, Eberwolf and Raine." Bumbs chuckled softly. "So Darius and Raine haven't changed." He seemed relieved and Hunter assumed that he might have been here when the two were still going to school.

A ringing in his pocket drew his attention and the others looked at him questioningly, even more so when he made no move to look. "It's from Darius, he's just worried about me, kinda..." he then murmured and looked aside.

Willow smiled gently at him. "Then you should answer him." Hunter wanted to argue, but somehow didn't... finally he nodded and pulled out his scroll, opening the latest news. Darius asked again where he was. The boy hesitated before typing an answer. "I'm in front of the hexside."

An answer came immediately. "All right, stay there I'm coming!" Hunter wasn't sure why, but the quick answer calmed him down and he was relieved. He bit his lip slightly and looked up at everyone in front of him. "He's on his way," he said. Bumps nodded.

It actually didn't take long for Darius to appear, he was alone and it didn't seem to bother him that the whole school was also there. If Hunter hadn't written to him it would have bothered him, but he figured there was a logical explanation.

When he got to hunter he pulled him into a hug. "Where were you? We were worried..." he said totally focused on him. Hunter dropped his ears and avoided his eyes. "Sorry..." "no no no, you don't have to apologize it's alright....we aren't mad at you, you just left so suddenly and we were worried." He let go of hunter and the boy nodded slightly.

Principal Bumbs stepped forward. "Welcome.", he just smiled and when darius saw him he had to smile a little as well. "Wow the second coven head on the same day!" said one student excitedly. Darius looked surprised at hunter.

"Graye..." he just said and darius rolled his eyes a bit. "It was clear, well it doesn't matter, the main thing is you- you all are fine.", he more or less had to force himself to say "you all", since the others actually didn't interest him very much.

As he looked through the crowd, he spotted three children who he knew straight away to whom they belonged.
He looked back at hunter. "Alright we have to go before anyone else gets back here." He turned to the blight children. "And tell your father he's a hack.", he said before he left.

Hunter looked back over his shoulder at the others and waved briefly before quickly following Darius. "Why did you say that?" he then asked. Darius looked down at him. "Alador and I...we don't exactly get along well," he finally answered with some hesitation. Hunter continued to look at him questioningly, but said nothing further.

They went back to the secret base where they finally met Raine and Eberwolf. Eberwolf immediately came to hunter and ran around him making loud noises while Raine put their hand on his shoulder, and dodged Eberwolf when he almost ran into them. "Nice that you are back, are you alright?" Hunter nodded. "Yes...."

"And he met Adrian." Darius added. Raine widened their eyes in surprise. "What happened?" Hunter decided to tell them all and after he did, darius laughed a bit about the part with adrian. "Then we'll see how that really affected him." Darius said, not really thinking that it would leave any traces.

"But it's nice that nothing else happened to you.", he tousled through hunter's hair. Hunter smiled softly. "Yes..." "Are you hungry?" Darius finally asked and hunter nodded. Eber also made approving noises. "I didn't ask you." Darius turned to Eberwolf and rolled his eyes. "Okay then, I'll cook something." He said and walked to another corner of the room, Eberwolf followed him. "No no, your paws won't touch the food!", Darius said, whereupon Eberwolf ran back to them, giggling.

It took some time for Eberwolf, Hunter and Raine to make themselves comfortable at the table and make space for the food, then Darius finally came and put a well-filled plate in front of each of them. Hunter was amazed at Darius and what he could do.

The bigger one sat down next to them and after a short "bon appétit", the four started to eat, even though Darius kept his distance from eberwolf, who rather shoveled in the food instead of eating it properly. Hunter smiled slightly, it was nice to eat together with the coven heads. He was feeling a lot better...

After a while they all finished eating. Hunter sat down on one of the beds and took out the former golden guard's journal that he had received from Darius.

It wasn't long before darius and eber sat down next to him. Hunter looked over at Darius and smiled a little. Raine watched the three of them smiling before they suddenly thought of something. "Oh! I have to go back to the castle, the scouts in the prison are waiting for an order.", they said and quickly packed their things.

Darius nodded to raine and turned to hunter. "Come on, take a look inside." Hunter nodded and opened the book.

Meanwhile, Raine had grabbed everything they needed and left the base, hurried back to the castle and spoke to the scouts in prison there. It didn't take long until eda suddenly called them back, but then terra appeared, but luckily for raine, eda was able to disguise herself in time.

Raine was forced to go with Terra, but wrote Darius a message that they had to get Eda and Luz out of prison. Then they eventually managed to get away from terra and went fast to the prison.

Darius had received the message and sighed a little, he had just told Hunter something from his and Ebers past when he had received the message. "Oh, we have to go. Raine needs us. I'll explain the reason for it to you guys on the way." Hunter and Eber nodded and stood up together with Darius. The journal was closed and the three set off.
