Without saying a word to the leader of the Abomination Coven along the way, Golden Guard stepped forward proudly.

What the younger one didn't really notice or at least didn't react to was that Darius behind him was getting more and more annoyed not to know where their path was leading them. Even more because they were walking all the time and gradually filthy his beloved shoes more than he tolerated.

If he knew where it was going, he would turn into his abomination form and get to their goal faster and more protected. But the golden Boy didn't seem to want to make it easy for him to survive a whole day with him.

"Will it take still a long time?", He finally grumbled and lifted his foot in disgust when he stepped into a puddle of mud and his shoe was now covered with the muddy liquit. He wrinkled his nose a little and looked at the golden boy. "Nah, not that long anymore.", He said now, actually not having anything provocative in his voice. Nevertheless, Darius rolled his eyes. Even now he could hardly wait for the mission to end. "Why don't we fly there? Or at least move faster," sighed Darius desperately, but the Golden Guard didn't react at all and continued on their way silently.

When the leader of the Abomination Coven wanted to start the next complaint a few minutes later, Golden Guard quickly cleared his throat. "We are there." "Finally!", Briefly forgetting who he had in front of him, he pushed the smaller one a little roughly to the side in order to step past him, but he saw nothing that caught his attention. "And where are we?!?!?!" Desperate again, he turned to him. The boy looked at him through his mask. "We should meet someone, of course a few steps further."

And there it was again, the provocative thing that Darius hated even more than the presence of the golden boy. "And then we're supposed to get something for the Emperor. I don't know exactly what, though." Golden Guard pretended to scratch his chin thoughtfully, even though the mask was in between. Darius could feel his eyes twitch with anger. He closed both briefly and took a deep breath before calmly looking at the boy again. "And what are you thinking-" Suddenly, out of nowhere, a loud roar of a monster. They both looked up in surprise and looked in the direction from which the noises were coming.

"We'll have company," muttered Golden Guard. "Yes, I hope it will eat you first.", Darius accidentally said loudly, but it didn't bother him because he just rolled his eyes. The boy stopped responding for a few seconds.
