A few days later they all went their separate ways. While Golden Guard was doing little things in the castle, with the though of ​​having a mission to the knee of the Titan the next day, Darius and Eberwolf were busy tracking down and capturing a small group of rebels called "the Bats".

Lately there have been many minor difficulties that could quickly spread. They always did small missions, which is why darius had already brought something into circulation for a new mission for them. Of course this was only a trap, but he was convinced of himself and of his design of this trap.

He and Eberwolf were just in the forest where he was already complaining internally about all the dirt. They were already waiting quietly for noises nearby. Eber soon gave alarm and Darius turned into an abomination form to sneak up on them quickly but quietly.

Eberwolf dug into the earth to keep up. Darius quickly managed to capture three of the bats, but Eberwolf found that none of them was the leader. Inwardly annoyed that it would take longer, he took the three of them to prison with his strength and continued to search with Eberwolf for those who had escaped. It took some time until they actually caught the leader, a time when it was a real chase and Darius had been upset a few times, especially when he got mud in the face.

It turned out that the leader of the Bats was none other than the new leader of the Bard Coven, Raine Whispers. When they escaped them one more time, he and Eber immediately took up the chase, but Kikimora got ahead of them and turned Raine into a puppet who was controlled by the Coven symbol.

Darius was a little surprised for a moment, but didn't really show it. "We could have done it on our own anyway.", He said with folded arms and rolled his eyes, insulted. Kikimora staggered, giggling, and turned back on the shoulders of an abomaton from his old rival Alador, followed by a steered raine marked by red veins all over his body. Darius shook his head again before taking another path back to the castle.

Eberwolf let his pet ratworm disappear, which he had summoned during their search, and quickly followed him. It didn't take long until they were back at the castle.
