Everyone' heart beat were raising, they all were praying and the host was increasing suspence
"And the award for best student/student of the year for senior project goes to..........(fingers crossed).........
(in a loud voice)...preeta arora from second last year batch. 

Preeta were not able to believe her ears, she ran on the stage and collected her award. Today she was on 7th sky, the dream.for which she was craving since school days has finally came true of  having a trophy, now his words started ringing in her ears (dekhna zaroor wo bhi din aayega jab stage pe announce hoga 'and the award goes to preeta arora' aur wo best din hoga chal ab apne aanso poch kajal fail raha hai)   she smiled remembering that words and wipe her tears.

She was going to home in her own thoughts suddenly she saw two smal children one girl and one boy eating ice cream so cutely then only she went into flash back

FLASH BACK

Boy: chal bahar jaayenge

Girl : mujhe kahin nahi jaana mera mood nahi hai (sadly)

But the boy drags her and take her to the ice cream shop, he made her eat ice cream and make her mood normal again

Preeta thought "nahi roungi nahi bilkul bhi nahi", murmering this she  went to her room there she share this good news with her colleagues and they all celebrate

ON THE OTHER SIDE

"Karan, karan, karan karan, karan, karan, karan"
The whole croud were cheering for karan for his football match in the college ground and finally he won the match
"Yes, yes, yes, I have don it ".karan exclaimed in excitement.

All his friends congratulate him, give him best wishes and after that he went to a nearby seat for some rest there he saw two teens, one girl and boy playing football seeing it he went to flashback

Girl : come on, come on you can do it, chalo kick karo, chalo jaldi

Boy : nahi mujh se nahi hoga (she glared), kar raha hu baba

And he was trying to play football

Karan : are nahi yaar, meri best friend, actually mai jab 8th std me tha tab mera pair fracture ho gaya tha, aur sab ne mere pair thik hone ki umeed kho di thi yaha tak meri maa ne bhi, par usne nahi, jaha doctors ne kaha 2 month lagega improvement hone me waha recovery 15 days me hui aur total recovery hui 2 month me, sirf uski wajah se

Sohan : oh my god! Naam kya hai us lady love ka

Karan : (shockingly) ba.....

Coach start calling all team members for the celebration of karan's victory so he called everyone and they all went.

NEXT DAY IN COLLEGE

Karan entered in college there were some boys standing near gate he went to him and asked him.about his college details as he is a new student, but attending after sme days as he was busy in football matches, saying this he went in college

On the other side, in same college preeta was moving towards her class but she was busy thinking about the incident which happen in her first year of college (she was walking on road but a goon about to harm her for her chain, but a boy with his face covered push her and she saved, there she was continuously staring in his eyes and he went away) suddenly she bumped into someone and unknowingly said 'karan '.
Boy was holding her through waist because she was about to fall, and she lost in his eyes, then only he snapped his fingers, she came back in her sense.and he made her stand properly and said

Karan : hey, tumhe kaise pata mera naam karan hai, mai to aaj hi aaya hu and I am a new student

Preeta ; no, actually mai kisi aur ko yaad kar rahi thi and I bumped you, so sorry but nice coincidence na

Karan :yes,

Karan forwarded his hand to preeta and introduce himself, she also does the same thing. After that both went to their calsses and they both were having same classes

It was recess time preeta was sitting with shrishti and sameer and trio were talking with ech other then only sameer spotted karan and call him and insisted him to join them and he agrees

Sameer : preeta, yeh karan hai, new admission, and....

Preeta : sameer hame pata hai ham mile the subah me

Karan : oh, to tum teeno jaante ho ek dusre ko

Preeta : ha, sameer aur shrishti mere friends hai

Shrishti : ha aur preeta hamari best friend hai

Karan : oh, oh yeh theory mere kuch samajh nahi aayi, please explain this

Sameer : actually, yrh kabhi kisi ko apna best friend nahi kehti

Srishti : 10th std ke baad se haan

Karan felt bad listening this and thought "aisa nahi hona chaahiye tha,yeh kya ho gaya". Sameer snapped his fingers infront of karan and said

Sameer : kahan

Karan : nahi, actually bas aise hi sach raha tha, hota hai aisa kuch jo hame bohot kuch karne par majboor kar deta hai

Preeta was looking at him continuously with .as if he knows everything' (not a taunt) look

Whole day got over as it is now it was night time

PREETA'S BED

Preeta was holding her locket in her hand and thinking "kyu hua aisa, lekin kuch bhi hojaaye mujhe un words par bilkul bhi yakeen nahi hai, hamesha aansu pochne waale ne hi mujhe sabse zyaada dard diya par phir bhi mai rooungi nahi, kuch bhi ho jaaye mai nahi roungi"

KARAN'S BED

Karan was holding a bracelet in his hand and thought "yeh mere saath hi kyu, jiske udaas chehre se bhi mujhe nafrat thi aaj uske zindagi kesabse bade dard ki wajah mai hi ban gaya "
