I wake up to see Irina gazing off with her hands running through my hair as my head rests on her lap, i move slightly as she looks at me with her expression softening and a smile graces her lips. "Hey" i say "Enjoy your rest?" She asks "Yeah, best sleep i've had" i answer as she giggles slightly "i'm glad" she tells me as i sight up as she frowns for a second befoee returning to her previous expression. "So what do you want to do?" She asks as i cup her cheek with my right hand which i notice is bandaged and so is alot of me "This" i say before leaning in and kissing her which see returns and we break away a couple seconds later as each of us have stupid smiles on our faces. It was only 3 seconds but it was the best three seconds of my life so far.

"So what now?" I ask as she puts a hand to her chin in a thinking pose. "You could help us with our mission!" She states excitedly "and that is?" I question "We're collecting the Excaliber fragments" she tells me. "Sure i'll help" i say, quickly she hugs me tightly "This must be the will of god" she tells me as i return the hug "Yeah... must be" i reply. "You two okay?" We hear Xenovia say as we look to see her standing there as we let ho of the hug "Absolutely!" Irina states "Oh and great news!" She says excited "What is it?" Xenovia asks "Y/N has agreed to join us in our mission!" She answers. Xenovia quickly reaches for her sword and pulls it out pointing at me "Sorry but how to be know you aren't a devil?" She questions as Irina stands in the way of her sword "Irina move!" She orders "No, i won't let you hurt him" she replies as i get up and place a hand on Irina's shoulder "Do what you have to do if it means i earn your trust" i tell Xenovia moving Irina out the way. She walks closer and quickly cuts my chest as i flinch at the pain "That proof enough?" I ask as she nods and puts her sword away "How did you lose your arm and eye?" Xenovia questions "Well a devil tried to get me to join there peerage and i freaked out not knowing that they existed, then i got blasted in the eye and lost that, then they chased me and i had to chop off my arm" i explained "and all those scars across your arm and legs?" Irina questions "That was because of fallen angels and my sacred gear" i answer "Wait you have a sacred gear?" Irina asks as i nod "before i answer any questions do you think you can get me some proper clothes?" I ask looking down noticing I'm only wearing my shoes, slightly torn trousers and bandages.

"We can offer you a cloak but thats it" Xenovia tells me "better than nothing" i reply as she quickly leaves the room and returns with the cloak which is much like theirs. "Thank you. So my sacred gear is technically the spirit of a long dead swordsman and the weapons and armour were his" i explain as they nod "mind giving us an example?" Irina asks to which i shake my head "not at all" i reply lifting my prosthetic arm "Your arm is a weapon?" Xenovia questions "Yes it is, its a cannon, flamethrower and repeater crossbow" i confirm listing off it's capabilities. "Anything else we should be aware of?" Xenovia asks "Well I've got a 6 foot sword called the Dragonslayer and a suit of armour." I answer slipping on the cloak "The armour is called the Berzerk armour, it makes it so i cannot feel pain, it draws out my inner demons and all sense of morality and restraint become void to me" i continue "The armour forces me to my limit making it that i can swing my sword so hard my arm breaks but the armour pierces and tears my flesh and pins my bones back together" i finish as they stare at me "Well then shall we get started on our mission" i offer as they nod, put on their cloaks.

Timeskip to ORC

"So why are we here?" I question looking at the ORC building "We need to pass down a warning from our higher ups" Xenovia tells me as we step inside the building, i keep my hood up as we move into the main room and they sit on a sofa opposite Rias as i stand behind them. "So what does the church want with us?" Rias asks "We have been sent to this town to collect the Excaliber fragments. We are here to tell you to stay out of our business" Xenovia answers "Oh and you think we would team with those who have it?" Rias questions "Considering holy weapons are extremely toxic to devils it would be likely that you would" Xenovia retorts "I would never besmirch the Gremory name by allying myself with such filth" Rias stated "I didn't think so, it was just a warning from our higher ups" Xenovia tells her.

"Not to be rude, but could we please leave, i would like to spend as little time as possible with devils and those who would reject their humanity to become as such" i ask as i see Issei get enraged at my remark while Irina and Xenovia got up from there seats to leave. "Hey buddy who do think you are?" Issei questions "You shouldn't concern yourself with who i am" i tell him "Then what do you think you are?" Issei questions "Human" i reply coldly following behind the girls who were confront Asia but suddenly Kiba yelled out "Great i'll take you both on!"he said as we walked out to a sparing area where Kiba fought Xenovia and Issei fought Irina. Xenovia seemed to be winning against Kiba while Irina seems to be chasing Issei while he does his best attempt to dodge but they end up close to me as he lunges at her and tries to touch her. 'Somethings up' i think before leaping in the way and striking Issei across the face making him tumble across the ground. "Hey man what the hell!" He yells slurred nursing his cheek "What was it you were try to do?" I question standing over him "He was probably try to use his perverted technique" Koneko tells me "Oh, what is it?" I ask her "He destroys girls clothes" she answers. I reach down and pick him ny tge collar bringing him to my level  "Is that what you were trying so do" i question "That's enough!" Rias shouts "Not now, i need to punish him for trying to strip my Fianceé" i tell her "That's what he was trying to do? How low has my old friend fallen?" She questions as i turn to face her "You knew him?" I ask her "Yeah before i moved to Italy!" She tells me "i won't have to compete with him will i?" I ask throwing him towards Rias an she walks closer to me "Don't worry, when we get married not even death will part us!" She answers hugging me as i hug back and my metal atm shows. "Y/N?" Rias asks as i let go of the hug and take off my hood "How does she know you?" Irina questions "She's the devil who tried to force me into her peerage" i answer "Who's the one who destroyed Y/N eye!?" She asks them but they don't answer "That would be Akeno" i say pointing to Akeno. "Excuse me, but i can heal your eye" Asia says speaking up "No, i think it's time we go don't you agree" Xenovia interjected "Yes i do think so" i agreed as Irina nodded in agreement, they collected their cloaks as we headed off and Irina clung to my arm. "Thanks for stopping Issei" Irina says before i kiss her forehead and she nuzzles into my arm "Of course, its my job to keep you safe" i tell her.
