No one's POV

(Flashback)

Aiz(mind): There is a Black Flame... burning inside of me. A flame that rampages for strength. An unsightly unclean Black Flame. A flame that has drove me to the point of death many times. A flame that I can not fight against. A flames that always linger. Even as I continue to throw myself against it. If Loki and everyone were not here, I would probably be dead by now.

Aiz: Saved by Finn. Protected by Gareth. Being loved by Asuna. Riveria would calm the flames within me. Sometimes strict, sometimes calm. It burned softer than before. That Red Tamer. Due to her words, that flame burned stronger. Riveria was the one who calmed this down too. The people who know my Mother's name, Aria. The people who call me by Aria. They can't extinguish that Black Flame within me. Waiting for an opportunity to burn brightly again. Little by little... and fiercely stubborn... But then... This two boys appeared.

Aiz said within her thought as she looked towards Bell and Sora. For the person who reminded her of her most important memory and the person who resemble her older brother. She wanted to make an amends towards Bell, that's what she told Riveria and Sora.

Sora: Until, he wakes up, use your lap and let him sleep. If it's yours, then there is nobody who would not appreciate that.

And before she could really understood what he meant, the two of them went ahead and left.

Aiz: Doing exactly what Big Brother said was. A little... embarrassing.

She didn't even realized that she called Sora big brother as she continue to stare at Bell. Because in reality, she was scared. Her title being the Sword Princess. The battle princess that goes mad whilst fighting using only strength. She know that's what she's been called. The Black Flames, forcing her to move... cutting through tens of thousands of monsters, as well as Udaeus. Only caring about being able to continuing fighting, even if her limbs were barely attached.

Aiz(mind): I wonder... What was so different about me, when compared to those beast?

The Flames still burning. She doesn't care about her own fears, as long as she could make amends.

Aiz(mind): Please don't be afraid of me.

Aiz thought to herself as she looked towards her right hand before turning them into a fist as she looked towards Bell's armor.

Aiz(mind): His armor is different than before... Even though it should be new, it's fairly damaged.

There was some scratch from a horn needle rabbit. One from a goblin claw, and some from a killer ants fang.

Aiz(mind): Even though it's light weight equipment, the reason there is so much damage is because its embodiment of inexperience. At the same time he's been facing everything head on, with a little help from, Sora. His hard work, his devotion, using his legs, using the terrain to his advantage. Proof that he's been fighting diligently, again and again.

Aiz could tell just from looking at his armor that bell wants to get stronger just as much as she does, it was so bright it almost blinds her. She once also harbor the same feeling just as he did. The Black Flame that was burning deep inside her grew fainter until it completely disappeared.

Aiz(mind): You removed it. Right now should be good. I can finally apologize.

Aiz thought when she saw Bell slowly waking up. Is what she thought...

(Present)

At the Twilight Manor, Riveria and Asuna were just having a mother and daughter time together as Riveria told Asuna the recent event that just happened between them and Sora and bell.

Asuna: So you saw Sora in the dungeon?

Riveria: Yeah, he was looking after a boy with a white hair. And it seems that Aiz had taken an interest in that boy.

Asuna: You mean the boy that ran away from her?

Riveria: Yeah, I hope this interaction is a good influence on her... Regardless how badly he felt. He shouldn't run away again...

Asuna: Well... I hope so.

Lefiya: Lady Riveria... Miss Asuna!! Miss Aiz is...!!

Lefiya said walking in on them in a panic.

Asuna: Is something wrong?

Riveria: Well how is she?

Lefiya: Well she's...

Lefiya was struggling to speak and both Riveria and Asuna looked confused until the two of them walked to where Aiz is and saw that she was very depressed.

Tiona and Tione:...

Riveria and Asuna: -_-

Lefiya: Even Miss Tiona is having trouble talking to her...

Riveria only sighed before walking towards her.

Riveria: What happened?

Aiz:... ran...

Riveria: What?

Aiz: He ran away again...

Riveria was dumbfounded for a second before she started laughing that shocked everyone there.

Riveria: Pu.

Aiz: ?!

Asuna: O()O

Tione:........?!?!?!

Tiona: Riveria...

Lefiya: Laughed...?!

Riveria was laughing her heart out. Her face had flushed redder by the moment, until she couldn't contain her laughter any longer. Stunned, Asuna and the other elves had watched the normally reserved and noble high elf laugh though she couldn't help herself. It was the first time anyone had seen such things. Aiz's face started going redder by the second as she was embarrassed that Riveria is laughing as her misfortune until she pushed Riveria away, thrusting both hands forwards.

Riveria: !!!

Tiona, Tione, Lefiya: Aiz?!?!

Riveria: Kuku... I'm sorry... But.... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Aiz started to get even more embarrassed and started repeatedly hit Riveria. Asuna who was confused went down as well.

Asuna: Um... What happened?

Aiz: That boy ran away again... And Riveria is laughing at me!!

Asuna: Eh...?

Asuna looked surprised for a moment and she also started laughing completely shocking Aiz.

Asuna: AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! He ran away again...?! Ahahahaha!!!

Aiz: AAAAAA!!!! Not you too, Asuna!!

Asuna also started laughing and Aiz's face turned even more red and she started shaking Asuna repeatedly.

Tiona: Aiz turned red and is mad...!

Lefiya: It's my first time seeing Lady Riveria raise her voice and laugh...

Tione: It's a bond between sisters and mother and their daughters.

Tiona: A face which she would never make towards us...

Tione: Oh, are you jealous?

Tiona: Shut up.

Lefiya just laugh awkwardly and looked at Aiz.

Lefiya: At least Miss Aiz looks like she's better.

Aiz continue to looked at Asuna and Riveria still blushing furiously with tears on her eyes as she looked away from the both of them annoyed.

(Timeskip)

The next night, Aiz was sitting alone as she was still avoiding Asuna because not wanting to get laugh again and she saw Riveria walking in with one of the guild members named Eina as they were talking about the Soma Familia and their liquor.

Aiz(mind): I couldn't apologize again...

Even though Aiz doesn't show it, she was on the verge of tears.

Aiz(mind): HE RAN AWAY!! AT FULL SPEED!!! It's because I let him use my lap as a pillow. Having a stranger offering their lap as a pillow. Scared him off, and made him run away!! It's all Big Brother's fault!!

Aiz didn't even realized again that she thought of Sora as a Big Brother, because she was to upset to think.

Aiz(mind): Maybe he was scared of me.

Loki: Here Aiz~~~ How long are you going to be depressed? That's right, why don't we update your status? We haven't done that yet, ever since you've been back, right?

Aiz: Ok...

Aiz then stood up and followed Loki to her office.

Loki: Fu hu... It's been awhile since I've violated Aiz-tan's soft skin...!

Aiz then glared at Loki.

Aiz: Do you need to use fingers to update?

Loki: YES, I NEED IT!! I DEFINITELY NEED IT!!! It's essential!

After they went inside her office Loki had asked Aiz to take off her skirt so she could update Aiz's status.

Loki: Right now, Aiz'-tan can't take a joke and is very scary. Seriously, did something happen?

Aiz: Nothing in particular...

Aiz didn't want to tell anyone about the incident, she was scared that they might laugh at her, the same as Riveria and Asuna.

Aiz(mind): That's the first time I've ever seen someone's expression change so fast... was he that scared...?

Aiz didn't even realized that Loki's hand was trembling with excitement until Loki shout out from the top of her lungs looking very excited.

Loki: AIZ-TAN LEVEL 6 IS HEEEEEEEERRREE!!!

Loki let out a great yell as her cheers reached the other inhabitant, a confused noise began to rise from every corner of the mansion, as though a landmark had been reached. Aiz went to face her. She had been so caught up in thinking about the boy that she could only stare in puzzlement.

Loki: This is your current status! And you got a new skill, Spirit Healing. An automatic replenishment of your mental strength! A magician who consumes mental strength furiously would cry from joy! It's a rare ability! That Riveria and Asuna are the only other person who has it. Aiz-tan who isn't a magician unlocked it because you kept using Aerial to much. You defeated Udaeus all by yourself. Of course you would rank up. That makes 5 member in the Familia with a Level 6, Finn, Riveria, Gareth, Asuna, and now you!! Congratulation, Aiz!

Loki said happily as she poked Aiz's cheeks and Aiz put back her clothes and nodded her head.

Aiz: Mhm.

loki: Even though you ranked up, you still look depressed. It looks like you have something on your mind other than just becoming stronger.

Aiz:...!!

Aiz(mind): Yeah, that's right...

Loki titled her head as she pointed that out. Only then Aiz notice. She had finally advance to the next level, but it didn't make her feel much of anything. Even though its been her greatest wish to become stronger. Even though she had waited eagerly all this time. Now, he longing for it wavered. In this moment alone, Aiz had forgotten her obsession with strength.

Aiz(Mind): Why...? What's bothering me...?

She couldn't think of anything. But all she could see in the back of her mind was the two boys that is Bell and Sora.

Loki: There's something more important to ya now, ain't there, Aiz?

Loki smile fondly as she watched the girl's dejected profile. Aiz looked up once again at her smiling goddess and contemplated.

Aiz(mind): I might not be able to deny it.

Ever since she met those two boys, Aiz felt as though she had been thinking of them every free moment she had. Even now, coming contact with Sora would make her happy, when she was with him, she felt like her long lost older brother had returned to her. And when she come into contact with Bell, made her happy for a moment and absolutely depressed the next.

Aiz(mind): What's happening?

Aiz place her hand over her beating heart. The question was born not from confusion but an innocent desire to understand.

Loki: HA!! Don't tell me you really are lovesick?! Aiz-tan is into a guy?!

Aiz: ?!?!

Aiz only looked confused at Loki's antic as she was wondering on what she would do from now on.

(Timeskip)

The next day, Aiz was on her own as she couldn't shake the feeling on why she was so depressed.

Aiz: Why am I so down...?

???: Aiz!

Aiz looked back and saw Asuna chasing after her.

Asuna: Seriously! You just come back yesterday and now your heading towards the dungeon, alone!!

Aiz: Um... sorry...

Asuna: Good grief, just how long are you gonna stay depressed forever? Are you that depressed not being able to apologize to that boy? Or depressed that Sora who you consider as your long lost brother isn't with you?

Aiz: I don't even know myself...

Asuna only stare at her. Even though she knew what was bothering Aiz, she didn't say a word as she wanted Aiz to figure it out herself.

Asuna: Oh you stupid little sister! Alright, I'll accompany you to the dungeon...

Aiz smile happily when she heard that and the two of them started walking towards Babel until they bumped into Eina.

Eina: Ah, good morning.

Aiz: Good morning.

Asuna: Good morning Eina.

Eina seemed to noticed that Aiz wasn't feeling well but she just shook it off and spoke up.

Eina: Miss Aiz. Thank you for saving an adventurer in my care the other day.

Asuna: Adventurer?

Aiz: I saved the adventurer you're in charge of?

Eina: Yes. I've been wanting to thank you. I heard you saved him at the last second from a raging minotaur on the 5th floor.

Asuna: Wait what? A minotaur?

Eina: Yes. His name is Bell Cranel.

Aiz then looked at Eina dumfounded and Asuna started laughing while Eina sweat drop. Aiz looked at Asuna mad and blushing and push her to the ground. Mad that she was being laughed again by her older sister.

Asuna: Hahaha. I see now.

Eina: U-Um... Miss Aiz?

Aiz still looking down.

Aiz: Is he afraid of me?

Eina: Huh? Not at all! He's very grateful to you for saving him!

Aiz: Really?

Eina: Really! Why would you think that he's afraid of you?

Asuna: Because he's the one who ran away from her!

Eina looked at Asuna surprised and Asuna continued to giggled as Aiz pouted at Asuna but smiled.

Aiz: I'm so glad.

Suddenly, the three of them over heard someone talking about Bell.

Guy 1: So the white haired kid is about to get set up for a fall by Arde?

Guy 2: Yup. And you know what'll happen then. Don't screw it up, you guys.

Guy 1: I know!

The adventurers started laughing and Eina thought of something.

Eina: It can't be...

Asuna: Is something wrong?

Eina then looked at Aiz and Asuna.

Eina: Miss Aiz, Miss Asuna, I'm aware that this is rude, but may ask you both a favor? But please help Bell Cranel, I believe that he and Sora must've become involved in an annoying conflict with Soma Familia.

Asuna and Aiz looked at each other and smiled at Eina.

Asuna: Sure of course...

Aiz: I haven't apologize to him yet either. Well, we're off.

As they were about to leave, Eina spoke up to them.

Eina: By the way, Bell Cranel was really grateful that you saved him!!

When Aiz heard that, she felt really happy as the two of them went inside the dungeon.

Asuna: See? I told you that's he's not afraid of you. He's just embarrassed when he saw your pretty face...

Aiz started blushing once again and looked away. The two of them went inside the dungeon in search for Bell and Sora, they were asking multiple adventurers if they had seen them and they were told that Bell was heading towards the 11th floor.

Aiz: That's odd...

Asuna: Yeah, I know. Just 20 days ago, Bell was a novice adventurers... With Sora as his only comrade. In order for me to get this far took me around half a year.

Aiz: Yeah, same for me. He did this less than a month.

Asuna: Seriously! What kind of training is Sora teaching him? For Bell to be able to progress this fast in a short amount of time!

The two of them then made their way towards the 11th floor and the two saw Bell was on his own as he was improving at an unbelievable rate.

Aiz: He's progressing...? At an unbelievable rate...?!

Asuna: He's improving even better than Sora!!
