We descend down the basement. The basement was actually supposed to be a parking lot so that's why it's so open.

"It's so cold here!"Valt mumbled, hugging himself.

"Here take this."Shu gave Valt a jacket."it's really cold here since we're outside and the skies are pretty dark. So don't get sick okay?"

"I won't! Wakiya's so lucky to have a long sleeve with him."Valt pout and walked beside Shu.

"Hmmph."I look away and crossed my arms. Shu's relationship with Valt looks as if they don't treat each other as a friend... I mean they treat each other... As...

"We're here."Shu ducked under this wall and exits the building. Valt and I did the same, and what we saw outside was a shocker.

Trees are everywhere, I can't even see the road and the skies are so dark. There's no sign of the moon because it's new moon, and all you can hear was the breeze of the cold wind. The wind swooshes here and there, giving me goosebumps all over.

I turned the flashlight from my cellphone and so did Shu. Valt turned his flashlight on too.

"The radius... Aysh... It's still hard to see but at least there's light."I mumbled, walking down this alley.

It's a bit noisy as we walk due to the grasses under our feet.

Shu continued to walk with ease while he hold Valt's hands who was walking behind him. So protected.. While i'm here being a solo and then there's Shu and Valt being a love bird!

"This forest is pretty big so it would take us an hour or maybe even a day to reach the cemetery. Cars are highly advice to be used here due to the time you'll spend walking to reach the cemetery."Shu explained, pointing the light on his phone almost everywhere except above.

"Ohhh... I haven't been in this cemetery before.. Probably because my classmates usually scare me that some spirit will eat me!"Valt cried, climbing on Shu's back and hugging him.

"Valt you know you're heavy."Shu said.

"But I don't want some entity to lurk under my feet!"Valt shouted.

"agh. Fine."Shu sighed and carried Valt.

"I feel so alone..."I pout and hugged myself.

"Don't worry Wakiya! You can carry me later if Shu gets tired."Valt winks at me and turns to Shu again.

"No thank you! But i'll be grateful if Shu carries me too."I smirked and walked beside Shu,"please~"

"Don't be a baby Wakiya. Go carry yourself!"Shu shouted,"I only carry Valt because I know he's not yet okay. And he had been sick, you? What's your sickness."

"You're a handful. My sickness is that I don't have anyone to hug me and be as close as you two are! And I don't want to involve Hoji in here! Plus I feel like there's something going on with ya two!"I pointed at Shu and Valt as I started laughing.

"Shut up Wakiya!"Shu started to turn red.

"I knew it! You l-"I paused as Shu put Valt down and covered my mouth.

"No! I don't! Now shut your trap!"Shu glared at me with his cheeks still red.

"Fine! I'll shut up!"I look away and giggled.

"What.. Are you two talking about?"Why is Valt so naive?

"Nothing Valt. Just food. Food. Now i'll carry ya again."Shu carried Valt on his back and continued walking.

"Oh you guys are hungry. I brought some pretzels if ever. I'm so thankful I brought this because it's useful today."Valt smiled and gave me the box of pretzel.

"What do you want me to do with this?"I raised an eyebrow and opened the box.

"Isn't it obvious? You eat it."Shu said, giving me a sidelong look.

"Wow. Thanks for telling me."I rolled my eyes and take a piece of it. It's Pocky.

"Wakiyaaaa. Ahh!"Valt pointed his mouth and said,"I want pretzel too!"

"You can feed yourself!"I shouted,"what are you?! 3 year old?"

"If you don't want, i'll do it. Give me that."Shu snatched the box of pretzel as I was about to get one.

"Hey!"I pout and glared at him. Shu would do anything to make Valt happy.

I don't like it.

"Here."Shu pulled out a piece of pretzel and feeds Valt like a baby.

"Yum! Thanks Shu!"Valt said, giggling.

Shu also take a bite of the pretzel with his straight-face."You want Wakiya?"

"Yeah."I nodded, staring at it.

"No."Shu kept on eating the pretzel and giving Valt some while smirking at me.

"Y...you!"I groaned and clenched my fist."Just because you have your... Blank friend with ya doesn't mean you're just gonna ditch the third wheel!"

"Haha. Says who?"Shu smiled."Here. I'm afraid you might cry if I don't give you some pretzel."

"Aysh!"I snatched the pretzel box and ate. I'm getting a bit hungry.

"Shu aren't we gonna rest?..."Valt mumbled, yawning.

"I guess we could... But only one of us can rest because the two would be the lookout. Do you wanna rest Valt?"Shu said.

"Yeah... I'm gonna take my meds too.."Shu put Valt down and pulled Valt's medicines from his pocket. He also pulled the water bottle we packed earlier.

"Okay what should you take first?"Shu asked, staring at the three sachet of medicines he had on his hand.

"This one. The thing for dizziness.. Then those two would be.. In any order after this dizziness thing."Valt smiled.

"Okay okay."Shu take the medicine and placed it on Valt's hands.

"And drink water 'kay?"Shu also handed the water bottle to Valt.

"Thanks!"Valt take his medicines while I just opened my phone and scroll down through the apps I had. Most of them are social apps and some are games... And photos.

"Valt you can rest here if you want. This place doesn't seem so dangerous. Here.."Shu placed his backpack behind Valt and asked him to lie down on it."Wakiya and I will keep watch. Right?"

"Yeah..yeah.."I kept on scrolling as I sit beside Valt while Shu sat on the opposite side.

"There's no signal.. But.."I know I saved some infos about the history of this school.

"Good...night..."Valt yawns and closed his eyes.

"What are you reading Wakiya?"Shu said, peeking beside me.

"The history of Beigoma Academy. The school seems a bit famous even before... And the principal was pretty good in cleaning up the school. He's also pretty good in maintaining the reputation of the school."I smirked, scrolling down the editorial news.

"Let me see that."Shu moved beside me, still holding Valt's hands."Since Lui... I mean Zero was dead... Zac's also dead... We don't have much issue about those two.. But... This."

Shu pointed this one entry that was posted recently. The entry titled was,"Jin Aizawa, The master of the dead"

"Why would they put Jin's name in there.."I pout and look at the skies.

"Because they find his actions a bit too oblivious."Shu stated, clicking this one photo of Jin.

"It's blurred. And dark."I raised an eyebrow and peered at the photo.

"Because it's not loading."Shu gave me this look again.

"Oh come on!"I thought it was supposed to be a bit suspense. But seriously, I don't want any suspense. It's gonna give me a heart attack.

Shu flicked the photo away and continued scrolling.

"You're not gonna let go of Valt aren't ya?"I glared at Shu and pout.

"No."Shu just focused his attention on my phone.

Valt was still asleep. I can hear him snoring.

As we continued to scroll down, this morbid photo of Daigo's crushed body was shown on the picture.

"what the! Get that pic out of my sight!"I cried, scrolling it as fast as I could but all I get was dead pictures of my friends.

"I guess they put this in for the investigation..."Shu mumbled.

"I don't wanna see that anymore..."I sighed...

"Same goes with me. Their dreams were crushed because of Zac and Zero's interference of the dead."Shu clenched his fist and hold Valt's hands tighter,"I won't let any of you die. Especially Valt."

"You should tell me more about you and Valt."I smiled,"I mean.. Yeah you're childhood friends so it's obvious you're that close and how you care for him is so obvious that err you're just treating him as a friend and not... Ahaha. Something else... I mean it's not like i'm feeling a bit uneasy."

"You said too much."Shu glared at me, closed his eyes and sighed,"Valt's really special to me 'kay? He taught me to be a great blader. And it's not just that. Back at the individuals, Valt kept on protecting me from Jin Aizawa. Remember?"

"Yeah... Jin.."I look away and bit my lower lip.

"And... When I injured my shoulder, he cared for me more than anyone would."Shu stared at Valt,"If I had the chance to wish for something... I wish It'd be possible for him to..."

"...to be yours?"I coughed.

"Something like that. But since it's not that way, i'll always treat him as my best bud."Shu smiled.

I cleared my throat and turned my phone off."I think we should take a break from investigating."

"Since you know something 'bout me. You should tell something about yourself. You haven't tell anything, other than Jin Aizawa being your partner before."Shu said.

"Err... About... Myself..? Nobody's ever asked me that... Nobody really care to ask me how's my life and how I turned into a proud guy I am.."I look away and sighed.

"Why? I'm asking you now."Shu smiled.

"Well..."I looked down.

Should I tell Shu?... Nobody have ever interfered with my past life, not even Hoji... But I guess there's nothing wrong with telling my story..
