NOTE: 2000+ words of Feels and chills

I then turned my attention to the newspaper Shu gave me. The first entries were rather boring so I turned the pages to the more interesting one.

And this really did caught my attention.

'...An incident occurred after one student was found dead in front of the storage room. its remains look as if someone had hit its head with a heavy metal 10 consecutive times. Though the investigation had ended, many students chose to forget this horrendous happening. not even the future Beigoma Academy students will know the story of the forgotten student...' and the rest of the pages were burnt...

but how did he die? and what is the connection of this person to what's
happening to the school?

I tried to scan the newspaper but there were no clues left anymore. Until...

'... The student was said to died at around 6 pm, and a letter was left on top of its remains, stated in the letter was, 'Blading had always been my passion, but maybe my bey can kill or harm someone too..''

A bey that can harm someone... Haven't heard of any bey like that,'... A bey that can turn its power against the blader'

That sentence reminds me of something... Or someone...

"Wakiya? Is there something wrong? We've been shouting your name but I guess you're in your zone right now... But..."Shu kept on shaking me until I snapped out.

"Oh... Oh yeah... I ... I found something..."I turned the newspaper to them and showed them this one important entry that I read.

"A student that died at around 6... Pm? But if that's what causing the curse, how can we kill someone who is already dead."Rantaro uttered while chewing the last piece of tuna.

"Maybe it's not the student who's causing the curse..."I mumbled,"Maybe the one who caused it was the one who killed the student."

"The one who killed the student..."Valt gulped and pulled the water bottle from Shu's pocket.

"I'm.. Not sure. It's just a hunch but... That's the only clue we have..."I pout and played with the glow stick that Valt just lit up a few minutes ago.

Ken then handed us a timer that's actually working,"Guys, I think we should run out of the storage room before time runs out..."

The timer indicates, 10 minutes 43 seconds. 10 minutes and 42 seconds..

"Or else..."Ken turned the timer around and a note was written,'your only way out is DEATH!'

"Aysh! Let's run!"I shouted, packing the glow sticks in my pocket and pulling out one.

Rantaro opened the door while Ken clutched the timer in his palm."10 minutes and 36 seconds."

"Hurry up!"Rantaro bended the glowstick. Shu,Ken and I did the same too. Valt uses the glowstick he bended a few minutes.

The neon light of the glow stick, surrounds us. Making us walk with ease.

But the voice of a girl screaming was heard once again."Oh... I feel like I don't wanna go on anymore..."

"We have to! Or else we'll face death.. Just like What happened to Daigo..."Ken gripped Daigo's headband and tied it on his wrist.

"I just wished that once we... We... Got out... Daigo... And the others who died... Will be back to us..."Valt mumbled.

"Everything's uncertain. Let's just... Go and hope that things would be back to normal after this... Even though there's no chance it will.."I replied with a sigh.

"W..Wakiya... What are we gonna tell his little brother..."Valt looked down, voice shaking.

"I don't know... I don't want to... He'll never accept it."I look away and continued walking. Our footsteps echoes in the walls of this corridors.

We continued walking in silence, as we reached a door... That is locked with chains."How the heck can we passed by this door?!"Rantaro shouted, tugging the lock vigorously.

"Maybe these keys Lui gave us can help."Valt said, dangling the keys.

We tried each one of the keys but none of them seems to work. "i..It's not working!"

"Maybe in one of these rooms..."I pointed on the left and right room, which is Room 2A and Room2F."But who knows which danger awaits us. Shu... Stay here with Valt and Ken. Rantaro and I will go in and check each room separately."

Valt gave me the key to Room 2F while Rantaro received the key to Room2A.

"Rantaro, if something happened, run out of that room as fast as you can."I smiled, unlocking the room.

"Goldilocks... I don't know man.. This may be the last i'll call you that."Rantaro chuckled,"welp, see ya."

"Be careful! We'll keep watch!"Valt said.

"Rantaro will die"

"How sure are you?"

"He took the right room but i'm certain he'll get killed."

"What about Wakiya?"

"Just wait and see."

" you sure Rantaro will die?"

"It's in fate's hands."

I slowly opened the door. The door was rather noisy, and you can here it creak.

"Oh boy..."I gulped and entered the dark and cold room. The only source of light I have was this glow stick."I pointed the glow stick around the room as the smell of a dead rat scattered around the room the farther I went in.

"Ya know, Wyvron..."I pulled my Wyvron from my pocket and pointed the glowstick on it,".. I shoulda'e just practiced at home with Hoji rather than stay here with Valt and that Rantaro for practiced. Because of them, my dream to beat Lui Shirasagi shattered to pieces... But..."

I kept Wyvron in my pocket again and focused my attention on finding the key to unlock the chains,"... This mystery the gang and I have been longing to solve... The search for justice for Daigo... Lui... Jin... Free... They're all connected."

I continued walking, the smell was getting stronger and stronger,"What are you trying to... Tell me?"

I stopped as I felt something on my shoes...

My body starts to shiver and I can feel my legs froze right into position."y...you..."

I pointed my glow stick at the thing that touched my foot. It was a corpse of a student... Its head was decayed but the rest of the body seems untouched.

The I.D.. He's still wearing it...

I picked up the ID and turned it around to see who the person was...

"Wakiya....M...Murasaki...."My eyes widened. Why am I here? I can't be dead. No. I can't... I'm... I'm alive...

"Silly, what are you trying to imply? I thought Rantaro's the one to die?"

"Yes he will. Don't worry... Just watch."

"I..impossible!"I was shivering.. I can't be dead right... Because I competed in WBBA.. That can't be...

I turned around and I saw a headless student charging at me.

I jumped up and ran to the corners of the room...

The body disappeared...

The Wakiya Murasaki I saw.. Was that just an illusion?!

He kept on chasing me. I kept on running until I suddenly let go of the glow stick.

"No!"I shouted. I have to use another...

I bended the glow stick as fast as I could, and the moment the light scattered, I saw the Headless student right in front of me. He was about to hit my head with a large metal slab!

"Who are you! Get away from me you creep!"I threw a large block of wood at him and ran towards the door.

It won't budge! Holy..."VALT!! SHU!!! KEN!!!! HELP!" I shouted.

I heard footsteps and I can hear Shu turning the knob that was jammed."Wakiya!!!"

I kept on knocking on the door until I felt a hard force knocked me down on the ground. That creep just hit my waist with that metal slab and I think my ribs just cracked...

"A...oww..."I held my stomach and stood up,"Good thing that you didn't hit me that hard! Because if you do, oh you'll be sorry!"

I punched the headless student's stomach and ran to the other end of the  room and shouts,"THE KEY IS NOT IN HERE!! I THINK I WASTED MY LIFE FOR NOTHING!!"

"Wakiya don't worry! We'll get you out of there!"Shu said as I heard a force being exerted on the door.

Sounds scientific... I don't like it.

The headless student turned to me. I can feel my heart drop to my stomach. I think i'm gonna die of heart attack...

"Ya...Ya know i'm... A..Afraid of heights... B...b...but...i'm... More...a..fraid of..d...d...death."I said, falling on the ground.

I turned my attention to the student's I.D...

"Zero..."Zero?... This must be the student that...died...

As Zero was about to hit my head really hard with a metal slab, the door suddenly opened and Shu pulled me out of the room.

"WAKIYA!"We dashed out of the room and quickly locked the door before the headless creep charged at us again.

I pant, catching my breath as I turned to Shu,Valt and Ken who was rather worried. I clutched the glow stick harder as I began to sob..."I wanna leave..."

"Wakiya..."Rantaro's voice was heard, He survived..."I got the key everyone and I survived! Woot woot! Hey Goldilocks Stop being a Crybaby!"

"I..i'm not!"Rantaro survived... Why am I happy?...

"Hmm.."

Rantaro unlocked the chains as the chains fell on the ground.

"4 minutes 23 seconds."Ken mumbled.

"Do you think that's enough for a bey battle?"Valt hugged Shu and cried,"Please tell me it's enough!"

"Yeah, just do a burst finish alright?!"Shu said to the gang.

"Who's gonna battle next?"I muttered.

"I will."Ken stepped in front of the stadium.

The stadium seems different, it was filled with cobwebs and graffitis.

A mysterious figure appeared on the opposite side of the stadium...

It's... Daigo...

"That's not me..."A voice suddenly whispered from Shu's side.

"Daigo?!"Shu's eyes widened. But Daigo's spirit was slowly disappearing...

"Shu.. Don't let Ken get carried away..."Daigo's spirit said.

"I...I will... Daigo.. Are you really dead?.."Shu said, voice shaking. Not because of fear... But because he can't accept the fact that Daigo's gone.

"... Sorry..."Daigo smiled.

"D...Daigooo!"Valt tried to hug Daigo but he just passed by him.

"Valt... I always wanted to tell you something..."Daigo sobbed,"I... You've... Always been a good friend to me.."

"Daigo..."Valt started to cry, hugging Shu and burying his face on Shu's chest.

"I...i'm so sorry Valt.. And..goodbye"Daigo disappeared, leaving us in pain.

"Daigo..."Ken mumbled, staring at the spirit,"You're not Daigo..."

"Hmmph.."The spirit just smirked. The spirit was also using Dark Deathscyther.

"Y..you.. You're just a spirit! You can't deceive me!"Ken shouted.

"Ready Set!"

"3...2....1"

"THIS IS FOR WHAT YOU DID TO DAIGO!"

"LET IT RIP!"

Ken and The spirit battled with all their power. This is the 2nd floor perhaps...

I looked at the timer(Ken gave it to me before he stepped on the stadium),and by the time I stare at its seconds slowly descending..."2 minutes... 09 seconds.."

"Ken!"Valt shouted,"you can do this"

I turned around, trying to get my tension off for a while. I tried finding Rantaro around, and good grief I saw him leaning against the wall.

"..Rantaro... Ehem.. Honcho... Aren't you getting a bit tensed or something?"I uttered.

"I don't want to feel anything Wakiya... I'm scared..."Rantaro looked down,"I thought I was strong... But... This mystery solving and escape from this school is driving me mad.."

"Rantaro don't worry..."I tapped Rantaro's back but what surprised me the most was that his body was ice cold...

Agh...

"I'm cold isn't it?... Room 2A was pretty cold.."Rantaro mumbled.

"I see.."I looked away..

Something doesn't seem right...

"Ken you won!"Valt hugged Ken as I turn my attention back to them. A burst finish.

The door to the 1st floor... Is it freedom?

Ken,Shu,Valt and I descends down the stairs,Rantaro followed behind me.

We all turned our flashlight on because we're out of the darkness zone... Aysh.

"Wakiya... Guys.."Rantaro mumbled, looking down.

We all stopped walking as Rantaro began to cry.

"I'm sorry..."Rantaro smiled at me and hugged me,"I'm sorry Wakiya.."

"W..why are you saying sorry?..."Rantaro..?

"I... Didn't survived."Rantaro said.

"What do..you mean boss?! You..you're here!"Valt's eyes started to become teary again.

"Wakiya... I'm..."Rantaro handed me the handkerchief I gave him,"I can't.."

It's.. Stained with blood..."HONCHO!!!"

Tears started welling up from my cheeks...

"I'm so sorry..."I hold Rantaro's hands.. It's pale.. And ice..cold...

"Y..you.."I scream as loud as I can just to get all my emotions out,"YOU'RE A COWARD!"

"Goldy..."Rantaro kept on sobbing.

"Y..you're dead! ARGHHHH!!!!"

I kept on punching the wall... Tears are welling on my cheeks.

"W...wa...kiya.."Rantaro fell on the ground, and a pool of blood scattered on the ground,"Th...thank you."

"ARGHHHHH!!!"I kept on punching the wall with all my strength... Of all the people.. Why Honcho!

"Wakiya.."Ken hugged me and sighed,"That is how I felt when Daigo died.."

Rantaro looked as if he was just asleep... But... An eternal slumber..

I carried his body on my back and sobbed,"Wakiya..?"

"We're taking his body with us."I sobbed.

"But Wakiya!"Shu shouted.

My clothes and my golden hair was stained with blood... But I don't care...

"Wakiya!!!"Shu shouted again..

I put down Rantaro's body and glared at Shu.

"Shut up. You don't understand what I feel."I sobbed.

"But you can't take a dead body with you!"Shu's tears began to fall from his eyes.."I... Want Honcho... And Daigo back... Do you think I don't care?!..."

Hmmph...

"Now stop... Crying..."Shu wipe his tears and turned to me again,"Let's go...and leave this place."

It take me a few seconds before I nodded and leave Honcho's body on the cold floor...

"Honcho.."Valt whispered under his breath as he clenched his fist..."I shouldn't just let them go alone.."

"Well nobody should be left alone... But.."Ken mumbled.."But..."

The image of Honcho dying in front of me kept repeating on my head...

I tried shaking the thoughts off my head... By asking,"I always wondered what will happen if the timer ends?"

"Oh.. Yeah."Ken pulled the Timer in my pocket,"it's a Zero zero. I won—"

We froze for a second as we heard a deafening noise come from the 2nd floor,"I think we should run.."

We ran down the stairs, and succeeded in reaching the 1st floor...

The final stage...

And...

The place where surely, one.. Or more will die.

Honcho.. Daigo.. Whoever did this... Will pay..
