Lukas' POV

"Calm down... This isn't real..." I whispered to myself.

"What are you saying? I thought you'd remember her funeral..."

A tear fell down my face.

"Are you OK?" She asked.

"I- I don't know..."

"Tell me what's wrong." She kissed my forehead. "Please?"

"Listen, I really enjoyed this day. I won't forget it."

"What are you saying?"

"I need to explain something to you... And I hope you understand..." I paused. "I'm from another world, and I honestly have no idea why I'm marrying you. I came through a portal and spawned in front of a mirror, and before I could figure out what was happening, it was my wedding day."

"But what about your promise? Your commitment! You agreed to marry me and you're just gonna leave me just like that!"

"No I-"

"No. Just go. I understand." She removed her hand from my neck.

"Wait-"

"Just go!" She ran away, crying.

"Petra!"

I chased after her.

--TIME SKIP--

I found her at the gazebo.

"I told you to leave. Why are you still here?"

"I'm not leaving until you hear me out." I approached her, and wrapped my arm around her stomach, behind her. I locked my grip.

"What're you doing?" She asked.

I kissed her cheek. "I love you. A lot even. I just want you to know that I'm not your husband."

"So why are you here? Why did you agree to be with me? Why did you propose!?"

"I'm sorry..." I said, burying my eyes into her curled hair. "I lied to you... I'm sorry..."

"Please... Don't cry... Just go home... I understand..."

I turned her around and kissed her lips. "I'll never forget this day."

"I'll never forget you..."

I walked away with my hand in hers until we were far enough that we separated.

"I love you Lukas..." She said.

"I love you too. A lot."

She smiled as I stepped off the gazebo...

Petra's POV

My wrists lost a lot of blood. I didn't think that I'd make it. I stayed there in a pool of red, while I waited for death to take me. Then I'd be with Gill.

I looked up and tried the key again. It didn't work.

"Hey!" Someone whisper-yelled.

I looked up. "L-lukas...?"

"Here." He slid a key under the door.

"I thought you were dead... I thought I killed you..."

"A real crazy person would need a lot of courage to kill me. Now hurry up, and let's get out of here!"

I took the key and inserted it into the cuff. It unlocked, and fell on the floor.

"Woah. What happened to you?"

"Long story... It really hurts, though..."

"Let's just go find the exit portal." He unlocked the door and held out his hand so I could stand up. I took it, and immediately was pulled into an embrace.

"Lukas? Why are you hugging me?" I asked.

"Because- long story."

"Right..."

"I kinda... Kissed you... In the other world..." He paused. "And married you..."

"What!?" I yelled.

"Shh! Not so loud!" He pulled me out of the prison.

"The exit portal should be at the temple." I said while running. Blood still dripped slowly from my wrists. I slowed down.

"Petra? What's wrong?"

"Well, if you haven't noticed, my wrists are bleeding to death!"

"Lemme see." He took my hands. He ripped off the sleeve of his tux and wrapped it around my wrist. I hissed in pain.

"Careful!"

"I'm trying. Just calm down." He paused. "And don't take this the wrong way, but your lips are really soft."

"The what?" I asked, ready to punch him.

"I had to kiss you! Another you." He let go of my hands. "Better?"

I held my wrist. "Yeah. Thanks."

He took my hand again and pulled me to the temple.

"You still have the Flint and steel, right?"

I pulled it out. "No."

He smiled. I lit the portal, and stepped in...
