The Dangers Of Life...

"Wait. It belonged to Herobrine?" Petra asked.
"Yes. It is extremely powerful. But there's another portal I need to make." Ivor said.
"Sure thing, what do you need?" Petra asked.
"I just need some glowstone. I'm taking you to the Ether."
"Wait. The Ether?" Lukas asked.
"Yes! The Ether is extremely high. Its an island millions of miles from here!" Ivor's hands were in the air.
"Like sky city." Olivia said.
"No, much higher, than that! It's something I've wanted to do in my travels, but I could never get the right ingredients. Glowstone makes the portal."
"Alright, let's go get some glowstone." Jesse said, confident that nothing bad would happen.
The group went back in the portal.
"Just, try and take it easy, alright, Jesse?" Lukas said.
"I'll be fine, I've been doing a lot better, since last time." Jesse smiled at him.
"Just, stay close to me, OK?" Jesse nodded, and Lukas wrapped his arm around her waist, still walking forward.
"I made sure I had supplies to make a barge. Like the one Sandy used, back in Redstonia." Olivia said. "Jesse, can you help me?"
Jesse walked up to her. "Sure."
The two began building Sandy's flying machine to reach the glowstone on top of the new world.
"Alright! All set." I said, placing the last piston on the barge.
"OK, thanks, Jesse." Olivia smiled. "Now to get some glowstone." She jumped onto the machine. Jesse pulled the lever and the machine flew upwards.
"OK, got it!" Olivia said. "Press that lever again." Jesse pulled it, again. The machine came back to the world.
"Noe let's get back to Ivor." Jesse said, walking back to the portal.
"You got it?" Ivor asked.
"Yup!" Petra said, holding up some glowstone dust.
"Fantastic!" Ivor yelled.
Jesse pulled Lukas behind everyone. "Jesse? What's wrong?" He asked.
"I... don't feel so well..." Jesse said, holding her head. Lukas looked back at the group.
"We'll be right back." He said. He took Jesse back to her room, where she lay in her bed. Lukas put his hand on Jesse's forehead. It was warm. He brushed her cheek with his hand, and held her hand. It was sweating, but he didn't care.
"Jesse, I think you're sick." Lukas said.
"As, man! And we were just about to go to the Ether!" Jesse didn't open her eyes.
"We can always change whe-"
"No, I'm fine. I can still go." Jesse sat up.
"I don't think that's a good idea." Lukas said.
"But if I say I'm fine, I'll go." Jesse put her legs over the bed. Jesse began to cough.
"Then we'll go when you're feeling better." Lukas gently pushed Jesse back on the bed. She couldn't let her friends down, again. What if something bad happens? Jesse knew that if things we're going to happen, she had to be there. But she had to admit, she did feel sick. She closed her eyes.
"I just don't wanna let everyone go, worrying about me." She said.
"But they'll only worry more, if you don't stay here, and rest." Lukas sighed. "I'm already terrified." Jesse sat up and looked into his eyes that were looking at the ground. "First the wither, then your arm, and now, you have a fever." Lukas got up and sat next to Jesse. I don't wanna lose you Jesse. We've lost Magnus, Rueben, May, and Gabriel. You mean too much to me, Jesse. I want to know that your OK." Jesse's heart skipped a beat. She thought she knew a lot about him. But she only knew not even half of him.
Jesse sighed. "Alright. I'll stay. Lukas looked into her grass green eyes, and smiled.
"If you want, I'll stay with you." He offered.
"That would be great." Jesse said. Lukas held her hand, and rubbed it with his thumb. Jesse lay back down.
"Alright, get some sleep." Lukas kissed her forehead, and turned out the lamp, on the nightstand. "Goodnight. I'll see you in the morning." He started walking out the door. "Love you..."
