Beginning Of the end.

Abigail Mills and Ichabod Crane stood under the shade of a large tree at Sleepy Hollow Park. It was 10:00 pm. The park was dark and empty.

"Where is it?" Ichabod asked. "I don't see it anywhere?" His eyes met Abbie's.

"I know, "Abbie answered."No spaceships." Abbie turned to look at Ichabod. Ichabod shrugged.

"It said on the radio they were destroying upstate NEW YORK and was heading for Sleepy Hollow park, " Abbie said.

"Perhaps, it could be a prank?" Ichabod asked."Or it could be those flying robots."

"Drones. Maybe you're right" Abbie replied."It could be a prank. but I still think we should stay just in case."

Ichabod turned to look at Abbie. He nodded.

Ichabod followed Abbie out from under the tall tree. Their guns locked and loaded at the ready. Abbie and Ichabod scanned the whole park silently. It was vastly wide with tall trees scattered everywhere. The grass was tall and looked even greener and lush in the bright moonlight. A cloud moved in front of the bright moon and it suddenly grew colder and darker. Abbie shivered. She was wearing her red leather jacket over a red tank top and her pajama bottoms. Jenny woke her with the news. She didn't bother to turn on the t.v. Abbie just grabbed her red jacket told Crane and off they went. They thought they would deal with whatever it is when they arrived at the scene.

"I think you're right this may have been a prank, after all. there is nothing going on here,"Abbie said.

The park was peaceful and so was the night sky.

"Yes, Lieutenant, I think you may be right, " Crane answered. His eyes scanned the night sky."

Crane lowered his eyes to look at Abbie and smiled. Abbie nodded. She lowered her gun and turned off her flashlight.

"Let's go home, " she sighed."We can binge watch a show on Netflix."

Ichabod smiled and nodded.

The witnesses took three steps before the ground shook underneath them. They stumbled and got their balance. They lifted their eyes to see five small silver spaceships hovering above them. One released its four slender spider-like metallic legs and burrowed deep into the grass on either side of the witnesses. The witnesses could only stare up the sight.

"Um, lieutenant are you seeing what I'm seeing?"Crane asked.

"Yes, I never thought I ever would in my lifetime, " she answered. "I think we better move."

Abbie slapped Ichabod on the shoulder and they both threw themselves on the ground and shoulder rolled from under the spaceship. Frozen in their kneeling position. A bright red laser beam came from the spaceship and spilt a tree in half. The two pieces of the tree fell on either sides. Birds flew out into the night of the split tree in panic. The slower birds were fried in mid-air and fell to the ground.

The witnesses, with their mouths agape turned to each other. Another laser sliced through a huge rock like a loaf of bread.

"What do we do, Lieutenant?" Ichabod whispered.

"I have no idea, " Abbie whispered back.

"Well, it's obviously not one of Molok's demons, " Ichabod replied.

"Or Katrina and Henry, " Abbie answered."It is from another planet. another galaxy."

Five more spaceships arrived to do more damage. Splitting more trees and scorching the grass underneath them with thier laser.

Abbie frowned. Her pouty red lips pressed together. She had enough.

"Abbie," Ichabod whispered. He reached his hand out only to brush the tip of his fingers over the bottom of Abbie's red leather jacket. Abbie walked up the middle of the field. She raised her arm and pointed her gun at the middle spaceship. She closed one eye and stuck out her tongue. Abbie was a sure shot. She was sure she could hit the ship at this distance. What happens after she hits it? Abbie sighed and opened her eyes. She let her arms fall to her sides.

"Ok, that's enough!"Abbie shouted."Come out of there whatever you are and fight us here on the ground."

A laser beam shot out and scorched the small patch of grass next to Abbie's boot.

"Shit." Abbie jumped back into the Ichabod's arms.

"They don't seem to want to fight us on the ground, Lieutenant," Ichabod replied.

The six spaceships moved as one to meet in the middle of the large dark sky.

They then formed a huge circle in the sky with the sixth spaceship in the middle. It glowed a very bright silver like the north star.

Ichabod stepped forward.

"Crane, be careful!"

Ichabod ignored her plea and looked up at the alien ship. He cleared his throat loudly.

"Good Evening, " Ichabod began."My name is Mr. Ichabod Crane esq and this my part---

The spaceship pulsed.

"People of Earth, we will continue to destroy your cities if you do not stop littering my planet, " an alien voice scalded.

Silence

"We still have your space rover cart stalled on our desert on Mars. Pick up your trash,"the alien shouted.

Abbie stepped forward. Her hands clenched into fists.

"I'd like to see you try it you---"

"We will stop leaving trash on your Mars,"Ichabod shouted.

Abbie's neck turned to look at Ichabod. Her jaw fell open. She stared up at him. Her eyes wide open.

Ichabod shifted his eyes to look at her.

"We must choose our battles, Lieutenant, " Ichabod whispered.

Abbie nodded and sighed. She knew he was right of course. These aliens obviously had the upper hand. They were bigger and more technically advanced. And they were in the sky.

"Right, what he said, " Abbie answered. She pointed to Ichabod and crossed her arms against her chest.

The ship glowed brighter. It approved.

"Excellent, now take us to your leader!" the alien announced. "So I may demand the same message to your madam President."

The witnesses turned to each other then back to the spaceship.

"You mean President Trump?" Abbie asked. "He's  the president."

The spaceship lost its glow and dulled.

"This is not a joking matter, " the alien replied."We Martians are very serious about this!"

"I assure you sir my partner and I are being very truthful,"Ichabod answered."We would not lie about who is currently the president of the United States."

The five ships then grew dark and spun in place. They joined and connected with the center space ship to make one very large spaceship! It glowed bright red!

"Uh oh!" Abbie gasped. She uncrossed her arms and looked wide eyed at the the ship.

"I believe we better run for our lives lieutenant, "Ichabod replied."Like now!"

"I believe you may be right!"

A bright red laser beam was released and singed the path of grass Abbie and Ichabod made to the parks largest rock.

The laser beam hit the rock. The rock glowed red and blew up leaving a large smoky black hole in its stead. The night sky glowed blood red.

"There. now on to the White House!" the alien announced. The ships all spilt into six and raced into the red sky.

The End.
