Spinel shifted her position on her bed trying to ignore the vibration that was coming from her nightstand. She grunted and put the pillow that was under her head on top of her head. She gripped the pillow angerily and threw it off the bed and sat up. She huffed and looked at the glowing and rapidly vibrating gem shard on her nightstand. She picked it up and looked at the message. She tapped the gem shards screen and a virtual screen popped up. There stood her trainer/mentor Citrine. The face her trainer was making wasn't to happy. Spinel gave her mentor a nervous smile.

"Spinel, Why are you an hour late for training class?" The Yellow Brownish trainer asked. Spinel looked at the time then back at her mentor. The red gem rolled her eyes and huffed. "I'll be there in 10 minutes, ok?" Her train nodded and ended the call. The virtual screen retreated back into the shard, She swiped her finger across the shards screen and tapped on her outfit gallery.

She scrolled through her training outfits until she was satisfied with one outfit. She tapped on it and a beam of light flashed around her body leaving her in a burgundy strapped jumper, black ankel boots and a black head band.

She took a second to observe her body and smile to herself . She was ready to head out, she grabbed her three gem shards that were laying on her night stand and put them into her pocket. She walked toward her door and stood there, the gem on her stomach began to glow brightly. The tiny clear dot on the door shined and made a light click sound before it opened.

As the doors fully opened she took a step out , letting her door close behind her. She took a moment to observe her surroundings but all was quiet. She began her journey to the local warp that was located 3 hallways down.

As she was walking all could hear was the sound of her boots hitting the ground each time she took a step. She walked down the last hallway that revealed the local warp pad just a few feet away.

When she got to the end of the hallway she heard a voice. She really wasn't the nosey type so she kept walking not making contact until she heard a familiar voice say her name. She looked over at the two gems that were once engaged in a conversation. She knee the really tall gems name, it was the leader Blue diamond. Blue diamond waved her hand nicely with a smile. The red gem returned the gesture until the a very short purple gem caught her attention. She scanned the purple gems form for a second, she had long beautiful purple hair, her skin was a creamy purple that looked smooth like butter. Her eyes glissened as the light the light the two gems were standing under glissened. She looked innocent.

The red gem quickly turned her head away from the two gems as she stepped on the warp pad. She glanced once more a the beautiful and mysterious purple gem before the stream took her away.

The beam of light lead Spinel to her training facility. She stepped off the warp pad and looked up and seen Topaz and her best friend Ruby sword fighting. Her gaze went down as she seen her trainer in front of her. She jumped back alittle before realizing who was standing before her. Her trainer Citrine stood in front of her with her arms crossed and her foot repeatedly hitting the ground and pissed off face expression.

The red gem stepped off the warp pad and walked away from her trainer. "Excuse me , Spinel. Why are you late?!" Her trainer shouted. The red gem stopped in her tracks and turned around giving a shrug. "I over slept" she said turning back around and walking toward the training area. "Come back here I wasn't don't talking to you."

Spinel turned around and began walking backwards. "Calm down Cit, I'm here now." She turned back around with a smug look on her face completely ignoring her trainer who was telling at her from afar.

Two gems that were sword fighting jumped down in front of her. "Aye, Spinel." Ruby said giving the red gem a dap that lead right into a hug. "Hello Spinel." Topaz said giving Spinel a poliet wave.

"What took you so long to get here?" The firey red gem asked. "I over slepted." Spinel replied. Topaz laughed then looked up at the two curious looking gems. "Oh com'on. We all know Spinel was late because she couldn't get some gem out her room again."

Ruby laughed lightly before noticing the straight face her best friend had. "I don't see how that's funny. Plus that was a one time thing." Spinel said.

"Stop putting it on them so good then" Ruby said snickering a bit. Spinel let out a irritated sigh as she watched the two gems laugh. "Alright enough." Citrine said as she approached the three gems. "Its time to continue your training ."

Citrine walked over to the buttons that were on the wall a pressed them. Topaz went to the other side of the room to practice her sword techniques while the two red gems leaped onto the tiles that were floating in the air.

Spinel landed on the platform firmly placing her hands down with one knee on the ground. She stood up and looked at Ruby who was standing on the second floating platform in front of her.

Ruby as Spinel have known each other since they first met on their home planet Rw3-19. The planet they were grown on was very hot. Only the soldiers and warriors were grown there. The planet got destroyed because of a giant medior and they were two of the 600 that survived. The ones that survived got taken to home world to train and become fighters and Soldiers.

Ruby's hands began to glow and form a bright light that soon faded as her boxing gloves appeared on bother her hands. She stood in a fighting stance and waited for Spinel to summon hers.

Spinels gem began to glow brightly as her gloves appeared around her hands. Soon the light faded and they were ready to start their training , Spinel prepared herself for an attack from the firey red gem. They both waited a few seconds , Ruby lunged quickly at Spinel with her fist already ready to strike. Spinel put her arm over her face which made Ruby's fist connect with her forearm. Spinel moved Ruby's fist and quickly punched her into a wall making a huge crack. Spinel jumped infront of the smokey area were she hit her friend , waiting for the smoke to clear. Once the smoke cleared, Spinels face changed to confusion. She looked up and seen Ruby with her fist together and siting at the top of head. Spinel wasn't quick enough to move from the empact , As Ruby hit her it sent her flying first through the platform she was standing on then straight down. Before she could hit the ground Ruby jumped in font of her and kicked her back up into the air making her fly back up and hit the ceiling. Ruby jumped back into the air, landing on the platform. Spinel jumped back down in front of her friend. Spinel lunged back at Ruby , they both sent punches that hit each others fist each time.

Citrine watch them in amazement until she heard the warp stream. She turned around and seen Blue diamond and a little purple gem walking toward her. "Hello Citrine." Said the giant blue leader. Citrine walked up toward the two gems and took a bow. She stood back up and looked up at her giant blue leader. "Hello Ms.Blue Diamond, what brings you here?" Citrine asked.

"I'm here to drop off this trainee, She refuses to shader corrupted gems after she defeats them, I need you to help her become a fearless warrior like those three."

Citrine nodded her head and turned her gaze onto the beautiful purple gem. "Good, I expect great this from you Ms.Citrine." she said stepping on the warp pad waving her hand before the stream consumed her.

"Hello, What's your name?" Citrine greeted calmly. The purple gems face began to blush lightly as she put her hands behind her back. "Um..my name is T" She said. The trainer smiled at her cuteness. "Ruby,Topaz,Spinel get down hear" Citrine yelled.

Just then Spinel was sent flying down to the ground. She stood up and looked over at her trainer and the mysterious purple gem from earlier. Spinel was admiring the purple gem , until her gaze was cut short by a kick to the back that took her off guard and sent her 60 feet underground. Spinel blinked with her eyes widened. She stood up , her firey red eyes turning bright her as she grew angry.

"Oh, Spinel, Don't give up so soon." Ruby said teasingly. Spinel jumped out the hole and stepped in front of Ruby, her eyes glowing a scortching red. Ruby put her hand to her sides making her boxing gloves disappear when noticing her friend was upset. Spinel cocked her arm back then swang hard but not her hardest at Ruby sending her flying quickly to the other side of the room. Ruby sat up in the gapping hole she made. She tried standing up but fell face first onto the ground.

Spinel made her gloves disappear as a smug look appeared on her face. She walked over toward her trainer, topaz ,and the purple gem were standing. "Ok, guy this is a new trainee, I need your help training her-"

Spinel looked at the purple gem who was watching Citrine talk. She admired everything about her. "My name is T, what are all your names?" The purple gem asked.

"I'm Ruby, that's Spinel and that's Topaz"

T looked at Spinel and scanned her body. T liked what she saw, she thought the red gem was very pretty even with that scare on her eye.

Soon the 4 gems started their training with swords, T went first. She was really good considering her weapon is a sword. After her turn it was Topaz vs. Ruby.

T sat down in the chair that was one seat away from the red gem. Every now and then she would glance over at her. T admire how her muscles flexed each time she moved. She really wanted to make conversation with Spinel, but her shyness got the best of her.
