The journey
Fluff's POV(this whole chapter will be his POV)
I've already been walking for one day now. I couldn't stop thinking about Redfield. What was the prophecy? What happened to him? Why is this all happening so suddenly?
I've only had a fish too eat. I wasn't really that hungry but I needed to complete this journey. I needed to lead the army. I needed to complete Redfield's legacy. I needed to make my own.
Suddenly I stopped walking. I was staring at a strange blue bush with pink flowers on it. On one of the ends of the bush, a huge flower bloomed. I went over to the bush to pick one of the flowers. As I gripped one, the bush darted away from me and ran about ten feet away from me.
The part of the bush with the huge flower turned to look at me. Instead of the middle of the flower being there, a lion's head was. It looked pissed at me. It stood up and completely faced me.
It was a big lion, taller than me. The huge flower looked like a mane, a flower was on the tip of its tail instead of a bunch of fur, and other pink flowers were spread throughout the lion.
I quickly got my bow and arrows ready to attack. The lion simply flicked its tail in annoyance. It stalked closer to me. I quickly released an arrow right towards the lions face. Before the arrow hit it, the flower around its head closed and acted as another being.
It caught the arrow and snapped it in half. When the flower opened again, the lion gave me a look of amusement. It let out a deep purr and sat down.
"Shut up! You're nothing but a filthy shadow demon, aren't you?" I said. If this was a shadow creature, than I would kill it for sure. But instead of talking, it tilted its head in confusion.
"Don't play dumb! Only shadow creatures could look the way you do. And if you're not, than what are you?" I said, caustically. I didn't trust this thing.
"I am Nihaad. A child of Gaia. I have heard of these so called shadow creatures, but I have never had the pleasure of meeting one."
I heard a voice in my head.
"W-was that you? How?" I asked the lion. It nodded before answering.
"Over thousands of years, we have learned how to communicate telepathically. It has come in handy for many occasions. But, we like to stay hidden more often then not."
I stared at the strange lion. Redfield had told me about these creatures once or twice. I never thought I would meet one though.
I decided to ignore the creature and slowly walked around it. I kept my eyes on it in case it decided to attack. Once I was a good thirty feet away, I turned from the lion and continued on.
After walking a few feet I stopped and turned around. To no surprise of mine, the lion was following me. I took a few steps forward and so did the lion.
"If you're going to follow me, at least walk on my side so I can see you." I said to the lion.
Nihaad happily trotted along my side. I didn't know why I trusted it but, I feel like I'm going to need some help if I'm going to keep going.

Nihaad's POV
We are on the third day of the human child's journey. The child told me about how his life and how he had started this journey. He's also told me tales of the ruthless beast know as shadow creatures. Growing up, I was told that they were gentle creatures. But, hearing from someone who had been face to face with them, it makes me question some things.
Fluff's POV(this is gonna be a real quick thing)
Further down the road, Nihaad started smelling a bush. Upon further inspection, I saw it was a baby dragon.
"It's a shadow creature." Nihaad informed me.
I nodded as the baby chirped. I loaded an arrow into my bow and shot it straight into the heart. Nihaad gave me a shocked look.
"I helped it. Letting it grow into an adult would of put it in a world of suffering." I said and continued walking.
