No one's POV

Moon set the young leopard down on an old rug inside their den. She stared down at him with a blank gaze. The leopard refused to look at her. He curled and uncurled his tail again and again. Finally, Moon spoke up.

"I thought I told you to never go in there unless I instructed you too." She stated. I just nodded.

This obviously wasn't the answer she wanted. She gripped my scruff in her jaws and dragged me out of the den. We walked for a while until we were outside at a big tree. The tree looked older and bigger then the rest of the trees. I saw a huge spot on the tree covered in paw prints, hand prints, dragon-like hand prints, and scratches. I looked at Moon with a confused face.

"Put your paw on the tree." She instructed.

I had a feeling I shouldn't argue and did as I was told. I waited a few seconds but, nothing happened. I took my paw off of the tree and looked back at Moon, more confused than ever. She simply sighed and rested one of her paws(hands???feet???uwhshs???) on a root sticking out of the ground.

That part of the root began to light up a soft purple. A trail of purple led from her hand to a dragon handprint on the tree. The handprint lit up and the inside of it glowed brightly. The inside began to show images of what I assumed was Shadowedmoon's life. The images kept flashing until they showed a mirror image of right now.

I moved from the left to the right and my theory was correct, it acted like a mirror.

"I will show you what's in that room when you are ready. This tree will also help me find that time. For now, it has rejected you." Moon simply said. She started to walk away from the tree as I followed.

"Ready for what?! You always say "When I'm ready" but I'm never ready for whatever you have planned, apparently! What am I supposed to be ready for?!" I was getting angry now. Moon sighed.

"As you know, one day you will be alpha of our pride. But as the elders say, as the sky fills with stars, two will rise to the top while another shall fall." Moon said and disappeared into the trees. I just stood there until I finally yelled into the trees;

"WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN?!"

Fluff's Pov

I was pacing around in my room trying to keep my mind off of everything going on. Redfield wanted me and him to go on a patrol soon. He told me it would help me be stelthier.

I packed a few things and grabbed my bow and arrows. He said this trip would take a few days and we might come across some shadows. I was prepared to handle those hostile creatures. After I grabbed my things I headed to Redfield's den.

He was already waiting for me outside. Before he saw me, I saw what looked like he was talking to himself. Once he saw me, a gust of wind swept past him. He walked towards me with a strange look in his eye. He looked scared, angry, and confused all at the same time. I opened my mouth to ask him about it but he interrupted me.

"Come. We leave immediately. We have much to do." He said and walked past me.

I followed behind him. As we were walking, I looked around the camp. The ones who saw us leaving looked anxious about something. It made me angrier that I didn't know what it was.

Redfield and I left out of the camp and out of the trees. The whole time Redfield looked back at me with irritated looks. What the hell was going on?
