Sophia landed on the ground, setting down Emily. So, Emily and Ann couldn't fly. Interesting. And Astrid could only fly with wings that are very bright.

Sophia watches the others pile into her van, getting in last.

"So," Sophia started casually. "What do you all want to eat?"

"Fast food!" Ann said, suddenly very energetic and exited.

Sophia pulled into the hotel parking lot, the smells of the fast food were intoxicating.

"Does this hotel have the free breakfast thing?" Ann asked. This girl really likes food.

"Oh, Annie. You should worry about the people you love, like me!" Jack said, taking Ann's hand as she stepped out of the car. She scowled and pulled her hand away.

"They're getting married." Astrid said confidently to Kyle.

"Like you two?" Ann shot back. Astrid's face went red, but Kyle had a big smile. Light's true love, eh?

The six of them files into the lobby. Emily gazed at everything, amazed.

"You have them?" The concierge asked in an incredulous whisper. Sophia nodded, proud of what she's done so far.

"I can give you two rooms." The brown haired concierge said, grabbing keys from the wall behind her. "And they are side by side."

"What about the complimentary breakfast?" Sophia asked for Ann. The concierge shook her head, and handed the keys to Sophia. She thanked the concierge, and turned to the other five teens.

"We got two rooms, kids." Sophia said, tossing one to Ann. "The two elders among us get our own room. That means me and Emily. The rest of you get to share the other room. No funny business."

"Help yourselves to the mini-fudge goodies, saviors!" The concierge shouted out. Luckily, there wasn't anyone else in the lobby. Sophia nodded, and led the group to the elevator.

"Hold on!" Jack said with a devilish grin. He grabbed Ann by the waist, and flew up the nearby stairs. Astrid's wings appeared, and she took Kyle's hand.

"Let's go!" She said, almost in a shy tone. Kyle laughed, and lifted off the ground. The two followed Jack  and the furious Ann up the stairs. Emily gave a laugh, and stepped into the elevator. Sophia smiled, and followed.
