Terrence felt fear running down his spine as it went on to be the second day without seeing or hearing from Alexander. Nobody knew where he had gone, except maybe Terrence.

One of the guards approached Terrence.

"Sire I fear something is happening."

Terrence simply nodded his head. His father had gone to search for Alexander but no magic in the underwater world could locate him. He went to the throne, grabbed the scepter, and waved his hand over the orb on it. No sign of Alexander. He waved it again, unlike the first time he'd done this there was no sign of his father either. That terrified him.

"I need to send some men to search for father and I need to tell Douglas what is happening."

"Sire the ground is opening under the reef. I fear we might be next."

Terrence groaned and swam to an underwater chamber. As the guard tried to follow Terrence faced him.

"Worry not," The prince said. "You and your loved ones will be alright though I would like to be kept to myself for a moment." The guard nodded his head and swam away.

Alone in the dark room Terrence studied the walls, the books, the memories.

He sat down and closed his eyes.

"Father I had a dream." A young Terrence spoke the morning after his nightmare. "In my dream there was three men and one of them was human and the other two weren't and father in my dream it was one of our people who harmed everyone."

His father became tense at those words.

"My son never tell me that one of our own is worse than a human. They wanted us dead and they still do my boy. Why do you think we hide?"

"Father the man destroyed our reefs and our castle. Father I saw our castle yet you, me, my brothers none of us were there to defend it."

His father sighed and nodded.

"My dear son it was only a dream but if it feared you so much we can hire guards and knights to end your worries."

Terrence simply nodded.

Though Terrence thought about that dream on this terrible night he realized, they were there. All except their father. Douglas was a human, Alexander was destroying their home, and he sat on the ocean floor feeling entirely alone.

Hey guys so I know I just said that I had about half of this chapter written however I have not posted this week and I do not like that but I'm about to go into work (and we all know how much I don't like writing at work) If you guys are having a hard time with the short chapters I can always go back and merge them I mean I'm kind of planning on doing that anyway just let me know what y'all want

Oh! And before I forget guys also I know I don't have the best grammar I don't put commas where they're supposed to go and I add sentences I don't need but this is also the first draft so you guys get to see how it evolves as we all grow together
