Douglas and Terrence sat in one of the dining chairs in the sunken ship.

"They aren't here." Douglas said sighing.

"Do we have anything that could tell us where they might be?"

"I'm sorry Terrence we should have just gone back to the palace like you said I just- I was sure they would be here."

"I think I know what happened." A tiny voice said that made them both jump into red alert.

"Who goes there!" Douglas shouted.

Philly the little pink fish stuck his head out and looked towards the princes. "Hello."

"Philly!" Douglas did the best he could to hug the little fish. "What in Neptune are you doing here my friend?"

"Well I saw your father leaving the palace and I wanted to talk to him about when you might be returning. He didn't notice me so I just decided to follow him until he stopped. Well he came here and Prince Alexander was speaking into a scepter but I don't know where he got it from. Well your father tried to take it from him and he used it to freeze him. I decided it was best to keep quiet and hidden - I didn't want to be next - anyway he said that he was going to 'get revenge for Douglas betraying his people' and he left. I was too scared to leave in case he was still near. What did you do sir?"

"Well Philly honestly all I simply did was not tell a human that I was not human."

Philly looked as dumbfounded as a fish can

"So I feared for my life because Alexander was being over dramatic?!"

"Well Philly your reasoning behind fearing for your life was justified but yes he is just being over dramatic and I don't quite understand why."

"Thankfully Douglas has told the human so all we need to do is tell Alexander and he should calm down." Terrence stated.

"Exactly." Douglas agreed, lying through his teeth. "Right now we just need to figure out how he's planning on getting revenge on me. Terrence let's go back to the palace then go to the surface for lunch."

"What- lunch- now- DOUGLAS WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS!"

"And that's why we're going after we go to the palace."

Philly chimed in. "Can I come too!"

"Of course Philly and you know we might be able to work some magic and make you a merman or even human too."

"WAHOO!"

Once they returned to the palace Douglas took his fathers scepter and turned Philly into a charming teenage merman. He had a beautiful bright pink tail, pink hair, and pink eyes.

"Look at me guys!" Philly swam around ecstatically. He had never thought about what it would be like being a merman but he loved it.

They all searched around for clues and saw in Alexander's room that he had a booked filled with information on Mary Ann. FILLED with information.

"Guys I think we need to go to the surface. Now."

They all raced to swim out of the castle.

BAM

Douglas rubbed his head and held his hand up. There was a dome trapping them in the castle.

Wassup guys so I feel like the ending to this chapter is rushed and that's because I'm running late for work and I'm so sorry and when I get home I'm going to see what I can do to work my magic see about making it longer or just starting the next chapter anyway guys vote and comment tell me what you think is going to happen what do you think of Philly and yeah love y'all
