Walking into P.E. I notice balls lining down the middle of the gym. Dodgeball, oh this is going to be fun. Our teacher divides us into groups. This was the only class that the boys and I had together, besides lunch. Thankfully, we where all on the same side. I look at the team against me, its was only my second day of classes, so I didn't know who was good at what. Suddenly, my breath catches Drake was on the other side, as was Caine but that didn't matter. Drake would be a good catcher and thrower, this was going to be tough game. The teacher blows her whistle and we race towards the line of dodge-balls. I grab all the balls that I can and give so to the slowpokes. "Spread out!", I yell. Surprisingly, they listen. I dodge a few balls, and hit a kid named Benno in the stomach, he falls to the ground. Some people are surprised that I had enough strength to do that, others saw me beat up Drake yesterday. I through another ball, it takes out Taylor, a girl I sat by yesterday. Drakes hand whips (see what I did there) a ball, it hits Dekka. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Christopher through a ball that hits some random kid. I look towards Caine all the balls our missing him. I through a ball at him that should hit him full on. It misses. Oh, he must have Telekinesis. Guys Caine's got telekinisis. They through balls at him straight on. Quickly,  I run to the side of the gym. I hope this works, and through a wicked curve ball at Caine, it hits him in the shoulder. He glares, I smile. 5 minutes later and Drake, the boys, and I are the only ones left. Drake had just taken Brianna out, that girl seemed to have been zipping around the gym floor. Probably has super speed I think. Drake through a a ball, I jump to miss it. All four of us grab a ball " Say goodbye, Drakie!", I yell. We through are balls at the sane time, they all hit Drake.

Caine's POV

I was doing my homework when Diana blasts in,"I need to use your computer." "Why can't you use yours?" I ask. "Because I'm doing research on Haley, and don't want her to know."  I nod,"Carry on." She sits and starts tapping rapidly. Suddenly, there's a pause. Interested I start to get up when she says,"Caine, you might want to see this." Even more interested I hurry over to the screen it read:

In May, Haley, Brighton, Christopher, and Nathan Lightgiver were abducted coming home from school. There were reports of sittings all over America, but these lead to dead ends. Finally, in March of the following year, Anna and Bron, came home to find their missing children on the couch, watching t.v., and eating Macaroni and cheese. The police and family are not disclosing any information about where the children were at, but there is a rumor that they were abducted by scientists doing experiments on kids.

"Wow", is all I can say, my breath is literally taken away. " If this thing is true, what are we dealing with?" Diana simply says,"Something we will never ever wrap our minds around,"

Haley's POV

PE was awesome, nothing could wipe the smile except lunch. Walking into the gym, I still felt like I was walking on clouds, my smile flickered but still stayed on. I get my lunch, chicken, mashed potatoes, peaches. I gracefully walked to Caine's table, which I guess is my table, now. I nod to the other occupants. I sit down and and start to eat, when I see Caine, Diana, and Drake talking. Diana looks my way and I start a conversation with the person beside me. Drake grabs a paper off the table and walks towards my side of the long table that was full of Caine's flockies. "Yes, Drakie?" Drakes jaw sets but says nothing and puts the paper in front of me. the article talked about the kidnappings. I raise my face," What is this about ,Drake." "Oh, I think you know what the article is about."" Yes, Drake, I can read, wouldn't have skipped a grade if I didn't. "" Your 13?", Drake asks confused. " Oh, he figured it out, someone give this boy a prize!" Drake's eyes flash but settle down. " Well?", he asks. "Well, what?", I ask, wondering what he was leading this. " Is it true." I arch an eyebrow, " Kidnapings, yes." I say honestly say, " Other thing, no.", I lie smoothly. He looks at me for what feels like five minutes, picks up the paper, and leaves. I sigh, they were onto us.
