I wake up before Diana and scurry to get dressed( this time with the school's skirt, ugh I hate skirts), and hurry to breakfast, and to do my homework.

Algebra is uneventful, as is all the rest of my morning classes. Now it was lunch time, what I was dreading, I look for Dekka, but she and the rest of the kids was sitting at Caine's table. I sigh, and go fall into his trap, with the boys following, of course.

I get to the table and four spots open up. Don't shake hands or anything with Diana, she reads people, put up wall to protect yourself. They reply: Kay, hear ya, and but she's hot. I glare at Christopher. fine. I nod. I sit down, Christopher on one side and that kid, Andrew, on the other. Nathan and Brighton are across from me. Caine smiles, I glare, he shrugs, I sigh. this was gonna be a long lunch. Diana goes to introduce herself, I hold my breath. She's coming. I could feel my brothers prepare themselves, I send energy through our mind-link. Diana go away, Diana go away, I repeat over and over in my head. Diana reaches for Brighton, " You must be Brighton, I'm Diana. " they shake, a shake that lasts too long. Diana's features don't change, she swivels to Nathan, "Hi, Nathan, I'm Diana" again shake lasts too long. She walks towards Christopher,"Last but not least, you must be Christopher, I'm Diana." Hand shake still lasts too long. Diana walks to her place by Caine, kisses his cheek and starts talking to him. they whisper and they're too far to hear. Crap, I don't know what they're saying.

Caine's POV

"What are they", I ask when Diana walks near. she kisses me and starts to whisper," high 3s, they put up a wall, very hard to get through, by the way." I nod. She continues, " The weird thing is their power range felt like it was hooked, like they were all connected." I furrow my eyebrows,"What do you mean?" Diana rolls her eyes," What I mean is, their linked, i heard this could happen to twins, so why not quads?""Linked?",I'm still confused"What the hell does linked mean?" Diana sighs,"They can talk to each other with their minds." "is that a power?", I ask trying to hide my nervousness. " No, they've obviously have had this for a long time, they're from Nebraska." "What does that have anything to do with this?" Diana's look tells me I'm stupid," Think about it, none of us have had this power, til we moved here, so this either means there's something wrong with this building, or the astroid that hit Perdido Beach 14 years ago." "When did you get so smart ,Diana?" She smile-smirks,"if always been smart, Caine, I just rely on beauty. " And with that she starts to eat her lunch. Out of the corner of my I see Drake head to my table with his lunch. I smirk, oh she's in for it now. I start my lunch

Drake's POV

That girl, Haley, was at our table. And her little friends were their too, no doubt Caine did that so she would sit there. Ugh. I hate her. Maybe what Caine said last night was true.

Haley's POV

I was just sitting there, just eating lunch, when Drake started walking towards the table. I wonder if he has a power. I know Caine and Diana do. I don't know where they got theirs, hopefully not how we got ours. I wouldn't wish that even on our worst enemy.
