Chapter 5
Sophie still couldn't believe of the events she had endure in all in one night. It felt like a horrible dream that she wouldn't want to wake up from.
As she was crying, she heard a knock on the bedroom door. "Who is it?" She asked, as to being curious of who would be at the last hour she has spent in the castle.
"It's me, Mrs. Potts, dear." The teacup replied, as Sophie opens the door to seeing the enchanted objects for the first time, being so shocked and stunned.
She thought, "Is this even possible?" She didn't look where she was going, as she bumps into the wardrobe, as she said, "Careful, dear."
Sophie sat down, "Is this really be happening right now? This is not what i was expecting." The wardrobe chuckled, "Awe, but my dear, anything is possible."
Christopher said, "She's very pretty as everyone said she was, doesn't she?" The teapot smiled at the sight of the girl's worries, as she pours some tea into the little teacup.
"All right, give this cup to her, gently, don't make a slip of it out, Christopher."
The teacup rolls his eyes at how his mother was giving him directions, as Sophie gladly took the little teacup. She slip the tea, as it calms her down from all the stress she had been through.
"Thank you, Mrs. Potts. The tea really did help settle down my nerves. I feel lost, all my life, my dreams are gone."
The teacup knew that Sophie needed some cheering up, as he tries to blow a bubble just like he tried to show Mr. Blake. "Christopher!" Mrs. Potts scolded, as the bubble exploded in unwanted way, making the tea bubble land on the carpet.
"Sophie, don't give up on your dreams, Dreams may appear in different ways you never thought. Trust me." The teapot reassures her.
But then she realizes that she has duties in the kitchen. "I have to return to my duties, Sophie, but we'll see each other very soon. Come along, son."
Christopher followed behind his mother, as he said, "Bye, Sophie!"
As they left, the wardrobe asked, "So, are you going downstairs to meet the master? I have plenty of dresses for you to try on."
She opens the dresses as the object picks a light blue dress, "Aw, this seems so cute on you. It brings out your eyes."
"I don't know if i want to. I'm too overwhelmed with everything had happened."
"Are you sure? He wouldn't be thrilled about it if you don't go down and greet him." The object warned her, as Cogsworth went into the room, as he clears his throat, "Your dinner awaits, Madam."
At the same moment, the beast was not being quite patient of waiting for Sophie to come for dinner.
"Why would she come down?!? She should be here!" He said, as the candlelight and teapot accompanying him.
"Sir, Sophie had quite a day. It's not that simple for her to come down after you didn't let her have a proper goodbye to her father." Mrs. Potts point out.
Lumeire asked, "Master, do you honestly think Sophie may be the chosen one? The one who would break this curse?"
The Beast said, "Really?!? How much I thought of every day of a girl would break this stupid curse!"
The candlelight was smiling, "Wow, this is perfect! You fell in love with her, she fell in love in you, and all of this would be of the past!"
The teapot sighs, "It's not going to be like it would happen on the spot, Lumeire, things take time."
The candlelight sigh, "But have you seen the Rose lately? It's begins to wilt if we don't do anything."
The Beast was still paranoid and Mrs. Potts got irate, "Well, first thing we need to do is be more polite around her. Stand tall, be a gentlemen!"
The candlelight added, "Once you see her, give her a gentle smile. C'mon, show me."
The Beast tried, as the objects said in unison, "Most importantly, You must control your temper!"
The knob turns as the Beast was worried if it was Sophie, but it was the enchanted clock, as he said, "G-Good evening."
The Beast was annoyed at the enchanted object as he asked, "So, where is she, is she coming down?"
"Well... She decided not to come." He stuttered, but the Beast was in rage, as he yells out, "She WHAT?!?"
The objects ran after him, as he made it to Sophie's room, "I thought that you would come down for dinner!"
"I'm not really hungry after what went down. Let me rest for the rest of the evening!" She replied back.
The Beast was inpatient as he said, "Come out or else I break the door down!"
The clock said, "Please more considerate."
The Beast replied, "She is so not cooperating!"
"Gently, gently." Mrs. Potts instructs her master as he sighs, "Please come down for dinner, Sophie."
The girl replied back, still remain calm, "No thank you!"
He yells, "You can't stay in the room for a long period of time! You'll starve to death!"
"I will be fine! Leave me alone!"
He scoffed off, "Fine, suit yourself!"
He ran through the hallway, smashing the door behind him, which all the lights in the main hallway fell down, hard.
The objects looked at one other, as that interaction didn't go well as they hoped it would be. "Well, that was not planned out nicely, didn't it?" Mrs. Potts asked.
The clock said to the candlelight, "Lumiere, go and stay close to the door. Inform me straight away if Sophie did leave her room for any reason."
The candlelight nods as he said, "I will! Trust in me, old friend."
The clock said, "Well, I guess that we should inform the kitchen staff that we will have leftovers tonight."
Meanwhile, the Beast ran as fast he can towards the West Wing, where he resides alone, without the servants coming in.
In the table where he kept the enchanted red rose which the Enchantress gave him, she also gave him an important tool he can use to see the world he wished to see within his own eyes, an enchanted mirror.
"I beg of you, Enchanted Mirror, show me the girl." He said, as that he was not sure of how much he intends to see through looking at the reflection.
The shimmering of the mirror showed a light green glow, as it shows Sophie and the wardrobe sit by the bed together.
"Are you ok?" The object asked, being concern of her condition.
"No! How could he ask me to come down for dinner like it's a major big deal?!? He should not ask so light of me like that after all he has done to me and my father. He is a jerk!"
The Wardrobe defend her master, "Well, how you know if he really is a total jerk? I mean, you just met him. Would you at least give him a chance to know him?"
"No, not yet! I'm not ready to face him again! I have nothing to say to him!" She replied, as the Beast sigh of seeing the interaction as the glow of the refection fades away.
The Beast said, "What a mess. She is right though. She truly sees me not who i truly am yet. I'm just a monster to her."
A petal from the rose fell as that the objects around felt it. "Another petal fell just like before. I'm worried." Fei said, worried.
Christopher said, "Don't worry. I am positive that Sophie will change things around here. I am positive Master would change his ways."
Mrs. Potts sighs of how positive the young teacup was, as that she said, hugging her son, "I hope that you're right, my son. I truly do."
