Chapter 4
Sophie took a breath, as that knowing that her father is somewhere within the mysterious castle she never seen before.
"Dad?" She called, opening the door, and begins to search in the empty hallways, "Dad, c'mon. Please, respond to me."
At the same time, the enchanted objects were in hiding, trying to get the glimpse of the beautiful girl that had invaded the castle.
It was something none of them expected, as that life in the emptiness that they felt begins to fade from total despair to hope.
It was pretty well known in the castle, as that Christopher went to see his mother to give the news of the newest arrival.
"Mother, there is a beautiful girl within the castle!" He exclaimed, as the teapot shakes her head as if the gossip was not a thing to brag about.
"Now son, I don't like it if you make false rumors just like the other servants. They just love to spread false news."
"But Mother, it's the truth! I just saw her, why would you believe me?" He said, trying to make her believe him.
"Not another word out of you, young man, you're in for a bath." She said, tossing the young teacup into a warm bucket she had prepared for him, as Lumiere's girlfriend, Frei, came into the kitchen, "Oh, my! Have you seen her? There is a girl in the castle, she looks so beautiful, just like me."
The teacup laughs, as that he wasn't the only one who knew, as that he said, "See? I told you, mother, i wasn't lying, I was telling you the honest truth. Why do you think she's here?"
"Let's find out for ourselves. C'mon, sweetie." The tea pot said, as the little teacup hopped along with his mother in tow.
In the far off distance, the candlelight and clock were discussing the matter with their master. "I honestly can't believe you, you let the invader inside, sit in the master's favorite chair, giving him tea. Honestly, you know how much it made the master mad?"
"I didn't realize that he would be that angry, I thought it would be extra nice to have some company after so many years. We've been so out of place since the curse happened. How could it be my fault?"
"Hello?" The two objects were confused of the voice they never heard before, as the followed the voice, they were surprised.
"It's a girl! An actual girl!" The candlelight exclaimed, as the clock rolled his eyes at the object's excitement. "Of course it is a girl! Why you ask me that?"
Lumiere said, "Cogsworth, she must be the one! The one who would set us free from the spell!" The candlelight went ahead as the clock was following him behind, "Wait for me, old friend!"
Sophie continued looking as the enchanted objects secretly pushed the dudgeon doors open without her noticing.
"Dad?" She asked, as she followed the dark hallway, as she pulls down her blue hood, "Hello? Anyone here?"
That was when she heard her father's voice, as if he was frail, "S-Sophie?"
She exclaimed in surprise, "Oh, Dad!" She went towards the cell, as the daughter touches his hand, "Oh, no. You been in here this whole time? Your hands felt like a cold breeze of ice. I'll get you out of here."
Mr. Blake shook his head, "My dear, you don't understand. It's not safe for you to be here. He might see you."
The girl was in total confusion of what her father meant, as she asked, "What you mean by, "He?"
The fire she was holding onto, fell into a nearby puddle, as the beast roared at the young girl, as she ask, "Who is there, who are you?"
The beast replied, "I am the master of this castle. Your father is a prisoner here, serving his sentence."
Sophie replied, "For what, for being safe from danger he might have face alone? What type of punishment is that?"
"It is my castle he invaded! He must be here, facing his own consequences!" He said, roaring at the girl.
Sophie scoffed, "You are so unreasonable. How about I make you an offer. Trade my life for my father's consequence for being here."
Mr. Blake was not fond of this idea. "No, Sophie, don't do this."
The Beast was shocked of seeing this girl, doing this offer all on her own will, "You would take his place? Why?"
"I will do anything for the person i hold dear." Sophie replied.
"If you really do this, you will never have a normal life ever again." He warned her, as the curious girl said, "Come into the light, please."
The Beast did as she wanted to see, as the horror she felt, seeing the master of the house for the first time.
Remembering her mother's words, she stood tall, as that he was waiting for her reply. "You will have my word that I would reside here for good."
"All right, consider your father free." The Beast said, as he released the poor father out of the cell. "Sophie, please, reconsider this."
The Beast grabbed the father as Sophie said, "Wait, please, let me say goodbye!" He ignored her, as he went towards an enchanted carriage, giving him instructions, "Take this man back to the village."
Mr. Blake said, "Sophie!"
Sophie watched from the dungeon window, as that she knew that it would be difficult to not see her beloved father ever again.
The Beast was walking back to the girl, the candlelight said, "Master, since this girl is residing here in the castle, should we offer her own bedroom?"
Sophie said, weeping, "You didn't let me say goodbye. I would not be seeing him again."
The Beast said, "Come with me, I want to show you to your bedroom."
"My.. Bedroom?" Sophie asked, bewildered.
"Yes, of course, you don't want to sleep in this dark dudgeon, don't you?" He asked.
The girl silently shook her head, as she followed the beast, with Lumiere lighting the way.
The Beast sees the girl was still silent, shedding a tear on her cheek, as the candlelight whispered to him, "Say something to her to cheer the lad up. "
"Oh. Um, I hope you like the place." He said, as he was encouraged to say more by the enchanted object, "This castle is your home now, feel free to explore, but there is one room I forbid you to enter, and that is the West Wing."
"The West Wing? Why you forbid that?" The girl said, but the Beast replied, angrily, "It's kind of personal!"
As the girl enter the room, "Now, my servants can provide you with questions you may have. They are very insightful."
The Candlelight said, "Ooh, invite her to dinner. That might cheer her up."
"You will come downstairs for dinner, if you like. I'll be waiting!" He slammed the door behind her, as Sophie crashed down, crying into the comfortable bed, as that she knew that this is her new life now.
Meanwhile, the enchanted carriage arrived at the village, threw Mr. Blake out of spite, thrashing him into a mud puddle as the man wiped the mud off his face, watching the enchanted object retreat into the dark forest to return to its master.
Mr. Blake still couldn't believe that his own daughter would sacrificed her life for his sake, as she was the one most precious to him.
Sophie was the only member of the family left he can rely on, since his wife passed away since she could walk.
The man stands up, as that he wanted to get help from the village, but would anyone would believe such a tale of a castle in the woods, and being held captive from a terrifying beast?
"I have to save my daughter, even if it costs me my life."
