Chapter 3

It took a few days since Mr. Blake invaded the castle. It indeed cause some tension in the castle which made Mrs. Potts felt guilt about the invader. She knew exactly what a parent needs to do, as that if Mr. Blake had indeed a child, would that child be worried about him?

"This is pure cruelty. What would happen to us now?" The pot mumbles to herself, as her little teacup looked at her with pure curiosity and concern about her.

"Mother, is something bothering you?" Christopher asked her as the enchanted teapot sigh, as if she knew that something wouldn't be so knowing for him.

"Sweetheart, it's completely nothing for you to be worried about. It's just something in my mind, that's all it is to it." She reassures him, but the young teacup wasn't truly convinced otherwise.

He went to the window, gazing at the window, as if he wanted something to happen. He just felt something was going to happen, something would change the castle's dire atmosphere.

Although, his gut would eventually come into fruition, not in a way he would expected to.

In the Blake Household, Sophie was cleaning the house, as part of her daily chores, as she waiting for her father's supposed return from gathering the firewood for the fall festival.

As she was doing it, she heard a loud knocking through the door, which surprised her. "Coming." Sophie said, as she left the cleaning supplies into a cabinet as she dust off her clothing to make her look presentable.

She looked at the doorway to see who wanted to visit her house, to her annoyance, it was no other than Gaston, Thora's father.

"Oh, it's just that lame huntsman." She mumbled, as she reluctantly opens the front door. "G-Gaston! What a unexpected surprise. I thought that you were my father."

"Awe, stunned to see me? Why, I think it's kind of weird. Well, I think Thora would be kind of thrilled."

"Thrilled? Honestly, I don't think she wouldn't like it you being here unannounced like this. You are a really not a pleasant guest."

"I came here to offer you a chance . Since you're all alone and without your parents not being present, I want to adopt you as my own."

Sophie felt offended, as if hearing that kind of offer seems to be unrealistic and rude. "Excuse me?!?"

Gaston came approaching her towards the doorway, as he pressure her, "C'mon, tell me how you feel being a sibling to Thora?"

Sophie felt her hand on the doorknob, as she said, "Honestly, Gaston... I don't think that is honestly not good. Thanks for stopping by!"

The front door opened, leaving the huntsman fell into a mud puddle outside. Sophie was glad that he wasn't in the house any more, as she peered through the window, waving goodbye to him, as the huntsman felt irate at the way he was treated, making him a compete fool.

As he was walking away, Thora saw the whole thing, as that she said, "So, you went to her house on your own without me, huh?

I can take Blake on myself."

"Don't even bother, she's unable to crack." He said, which make his daughter thought of a plan to get Sophie's direction to the Gaston Household for good.

Sophie waited until the coast was clear, she sigh as that the annoying huntsman went away. "Honestly, I can't believe it.

Me, being a adoptive daughter, to that household? To them, they can't be more rude and selfish!

Sophie Gaston, can you just see it? Sophie Gaston, a hunter girl? No, that's not me. Not for me, I know that very well.

There is much more life than being a hunts woman!

Out there, somewhere, there's a destiny for me to unfold. It's just a simple life, I assure that there are plans awaiting for me, way beyond my wildest dreams."

As she was resting in a beautiful landscape, she heard a familiar hoofs running towards her, as she realizing that it was no other than Phillip.

He was spooked out, in fear, as Sophie knew that she has to calm the horse's nerves. She gentle grabs the leash of the horse, and brushed the mane.

"Shh. It's ok, Phillip. I'm here." She spoke softly, as the horse gazes at the girl's eyes straight at her, as the horse places his head on her head, as the girl smiled at the embrace.

"That is a good boy. " She said, as she notices something else. She noticed that nobody was on the horse's saddle, which she realized something horrible must've happened to Mr. Blake during his absence.

It was strange for the girl, as she went back her house, grabbed a light-blue hooded vest and locked the door behind her.

"Phillip, you have to take me to where you and my father last go. I know it's scary for you, but you have to have total faith in me." Sophie said to the horse. Seeing the girl's determination and strength, the horse nods in approval as the two companions left the village.

As the days grew by, the girl begins to be more worried than she ever felt before, as the sensation she experienced when she received the news about her mother's death came flooding back to her.

"Dad." She mumbles to herself, trying to be brave and faithful that her father would be safe. As then the horse spotted the man's footprints in the deep snow, as the horse and girl exchanged looks of what it could possibly lead to.

"Well, here it goes nothing, Phillip." Sophie said, as she took a deep breath, as the winter breeze behind her, making her shiver from the cold.

"It's so cold. " She said, as they follow the trail to lead both into a castle she never had seen before.

Being amazed of the castle, she knew that there is more special about it. "What is this place?" Freighted by a wolf howl, the horse begins to flip out, as Sophie quickly got off of the saddle, "Phillip, easy. Easy."

It was then she notices her father's hat, which implied to her that her father must been inside the enormous castle, as she said of her mother's final words: "Be brave, thoughtful, and stay true of who you are, no matter who stands in your way."

She took a deep breath as she went towards the door that she didn't know at the time, would change the world around her.
