You, Itadori, Megumi, and Kugisaki stand in front of the jail as the rain pours while Ijichi-sensei gave you all orders.

"Our window verified the curse womb three hours ago. Once 90 percent were successfully evacuated, they made the call to seal off the center. Citizens within a 500-meter radius have been evacuated, as well." Ijichi reported.

"Ijichi-san, question. What's a "window" here?" Itadori asked.

"A window is a member of Jujutsu High who can see curses. They aren't sorcerers, though." Ijichi said.

"Oh, okay."

"Let's continue. Detainee Block 2. At present, five detainees remain there with the curse womb. If this curse womb is the type that metamorphoses, we predict it will become a special-grade cursed spirit." Ijichi said.

You could feel Megumi's and Kugisaki's thumping heart as they heard the word "special-grade".

"Hey, so... I still don't really understand what "special-grade" means." Itadori said breaking the tense atmosphere and Megumi and Kugisaki both sigh in annoyance.

"Then allow me to explain it so even idiots can understand. First there's Grade 4. A wooden bat is enough for them. Grade 3. If you have a hand gun, you can rest easy. Grade 2. Close call with a shotgun. Grade 1. Even a tank may be insufficient. Then there's Special-Grade. Let's say you might be on even footing if you carpet bomb it with cluster bombs." Ijichi explained.

"That's real bad!" Itadori exclaimed.

"Normally a jujutsu sorcerer on par with a cursed spirit would take on the mission. On a day like today, that would be Gojo-sensei." Megumi added.

"I-I see. So where is Gojo-sensei?" Itadori asked.

"Away on business." you answered.

"Huh?"

"Gojo-sensei is the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer of this era. A guy like him shouldn't even be loafing around in a school in the first place. Besides... I find this weird how there's a Special Grade curse with the same presence of Sukuna's finger here the minute Gojo-sensei left..." you said.

"What? Sukuna's finger?" Megumi questioned.

"Yeah. The Special-Grade cursed spirit in there has possession of one of Sukuna's fingers." you said then paused to look at Megumi. "This is a hunch, but since the higher-ups are so fiesty to kill Itadori, and Gojo-sensei is the only person stopping them, putting a Special-Grade cursed spirit while the third and second-years gone and with Gojo-sensei gone too, this is a perfect way to kill Itadori." you said.

It was quiet as everyone took in your theory as true and pondering what to do next.

"W-Well, even if your hunch is true, Y/N, we have no choice but to follow through or else many people will get hurt." Ijichi said. "The current case needs to be done. It's an urgent and abnormal one. Do not fight under any circumstances. If you encounter a Special-Grade, you options are to run or die. Please listen to your fears. Do not forget your mission. Verify and rescue survivors."

You nodded your head and glanced to the corner of your eye to look at Itadori. Even without your hyakumanako eyes, you could see that he was worried and a little scared.

"Don't worry." you whispered to Itadori. "I won't let the stupid higher-ups kill you." you smiled through your mask.

Itadori looked at you for a second before giving you a closed eye smile. "Thanks."

"Excuse me! Excuse me! Where is my son Tadashi!" a women pleaded.

"Stop! Stay back!" the guards said.

"Is Tadashi... Is my son Tadashi all right?!" the woman asked.

"Please step away. It's possible some has spread poisonous gas throughout the center. We cannot share any more details at this time." Ijichi lied.

"No..." the women whispered then knelt down crying. "Why? Why is this happening?"

You then felt a strong urge of motivation rush up in Itadori.

"Fushiguro, Kugisaki, Y/N. We're going to save them!" Itadori said while cracking his knuckles.

"Of course we are." Kugisaki said.

Ijichi put up a veil that Itadori was awing over. Megumi put got his Demon Dogs for extra protection.

"He'll fight off any low-grade curses and Y/N will tell us if a curse is getting close and where to go. Though we can't rely too much on her senses since she's wearing that blind fold." Megumi said.

"Cool!" Itadori said.

"Can't Y/N just take the blind fold off. It's emitting so much cursed energy I'm surprised she can even use her cursed technique." Kugisaki said. Megumi and you went silent which confused Itadori and Kugisaki. "Huh? Did I strike a nerve?"

"What's Y/N's cursed technique anyways? Matter of fact, what's all of you're guy's techniques?" Itadori said.

"There's no time to explain our techniques. What we need to do is get into that building and retrieve the bodies. Let's go." Megumi said.

You all entered the building. It was rusty and reeking of evil cursed energy. "Follow me." you said. You could feel the immense cursed energy in a room nearby. If you took off your blind fold, you can see the whole place but you're not doing that. Not ever again.

As you all walked, you said, "Wait!" and everyone looked up to see disoriented rooms and pipes everywhere.

"What is this?" Kugisaki asked.

"Wh-What's going on in here?" Itadori asked. "This is a two story dorm, isn't it?"

"C-C-Calm down! It's a maisonette." Kugisaki tried reasoning.

"It's not... It's the deployment of an Inmate Domain fur to cursed energy. It's my first time seeing one this big. Wait... Where's the door?!" Megumi yelled and all of you looked back to see the door had vanished.

But you didn't freak out since you knew it was gone.

"The-The door!" Itadori said.

"How?! We just came in through here, didn't we?!" Kugisaki cried out.

Then all of a sudden Itadori and Kugisaki started dancing in circles and started singing, "What do we do? Ah, what do we do about this?"

"It's fine. I know where the entrance and exit is and so does Megumi's Demon Dog." you explained.

"Oh, my!" Itadori and Kugisaki said at the same time.

"Good boy! Have some jerky!" Itadori said as he started petting the dog like crazy.

"HAVE ALL THE JERKY YOU WANT!" Kugisaki roared out.

You laughed at their comedic gimmicks.

"You all are way too calm!" Megumi said.

"You're so dependable, Y/N! Thanks to you, we'll be able to save others and ourselves, too." Itadori said while flashing a big smile.

"Thanks." you said, smiling under your mask.

You guys walked some more, exploring the place and looking for any other survivors. You and Megumi's Demon Dog lead all of you to a room full of metal and off in the distance was three corps all bloodied up and ripped to shreds as the blood spilled out like wine.

Itadori runs towards it and gasps a little. Surprisingly, he was taking the fact of seeing a corps pretty well.

"Atrocious." Kugisaki commented.

"That's three people, right?" Megumi asks you.

"Yes, it is." you confirm using you're analytic abilities. You even knew the names.

And Itadori seemed to notice it too when he read the corp's jacket.

"Let's take this body back." Itadori said. "It's the woman's son."

"But-" Kugisaki was about to argue but was cut off by Itadori.

"His face isn't too badly mangled. His mother won't accept it if we tell her he's dead, but we don't have a body." Itadori says before getting pulled up by the hood by Megumi.

"We have to find and verify two more. Finding corpse and making Y/N analyze them to find their identity it's very straining and dangerous on Y/N's body. Leave that body behind." Megumi said.

"Megumi, I'm fine, really-" you said but got cut off.

"If you were truly fine, you wouldn't where all of that stuff on you." Megumi said which completely shut you down.

"Quit joking around! We turned around, and the way we got in here was gone! We won't be able to come back for it later." Itadori argued.

"I didn't say to come back for it! I said to leave it behind!" Megumi yelled which made Itadori's face go wide in utter surprise. "I have no intention of risking my own life and the ones around me to get this worthless corps."

Itadori then grabbed Megumi's collar. "Worthless corps? What do you mean worthless corps?!" Itadori asked.

"This is a juvenile detention center. Jujutsu sorceress are granted information before coming to the scene. Why don't you tell Itadori who that man is and what he has done in his life. You know better than me, Y/N?" Megumi said staring at you and Itadori looked at you.

"What do you mean?!" Itadori said.

"Itadori." you said and he looked directly at you. "That man was a criminal. He ran over a little girl and did many terrible things. It was his second offense for driving without a license." Itadori gasped a little and looked at you with surprise.

"I know you're so set on giving people proper deaths but what will you do when you save someone that would later kill someone else in the future?" Megumi asked.

Itadori clicked his tongue. "Then why did you bother saving me?!" Itadori yelled. Megumi stared hard at Itadori in disgust before Kugisaki yelled.

"Cut it out!" Kugisaki yelled. "Goodness... What are you two doing?! Think about the time and place if you—" Kugisaki was about to complain more until Y/N cut her off.

"Kugisaki! Watch out!" you yelled. You dived towards her to try and push her off the ground before she got sunken into a black hole. Then you tried focussing your senses on cursed energy more until you felt it coming for Megumi's Demon Dog. It was a special-grade curse. "Megumi! Your Demon Dogs!"

It was too late, by the time you, Megumi, and Itadori turned your heads, the Demon Dog's head was impaled through the wall.

Megumi gasped. "Itadori, Y/N! We're running! We'll search for Kugisaki la—"

"Megumi." you said trembling on the floor. "It's here..."

Megumi and Itadori both froze as the special-grade cursed spirit was next to them.
