~ Adama~

I woke up around 4:30 today, I decided to wake up very early because I needed to meet  up with Kwesi before he leaves.

As I woke up I went to the bathroom first and did my business,then went and picked up a broom and swept the compound, after the sweeping, it was already 5 o'clock, then I washed the dishes, then started preparing breakfast after preparing the breakfast, I went to take my shower, by the time I was done it was already 7o'clock. I ate my breakfast then went and told my stepmom that I was done.

I greeted  "Good morning ma"

" Morning" she responded.

" Mama, please I am done with my chores" I muttered.

She requested" okay, go inside the storeroom and bring out the fruits"

" Okay, I said as I rushed into the storeroom and brought it out,then I placed them infront of her.

She kept mine in a different tray and decided to just arrange the others for Chisom and Anne.

She said as she raised a brow" make sure you sell them all before coming home".

" Okay Ma" I replied as I left the compound.

Within no time, I was at Anisa' s house.

"Agoo! ( Excuse)!, Anybody home" I intensed my voice as I heard a voice at the backyard.

"Yes, coming" in what seems like the voice of Anisa.

Her lips quickly curved to a smile when she saw me " Adama you're welcome".she said as she gave me a hug.

" Ooh do you want to break my bones" I grinned.

" Sorry, just happy to see you"
" So is Kwesi ready, hope I'm not l.." I was saying as I was looking round.

She cut in " no you aren't, but he is almost done"

I heaved a sigh of relief. "thank Goodness"

"Let's go inside" she said as she brought down my load and carried it on her head, we both chuckled.

We went inside the house, of which I took a seat.

"Sweetheart I will be right back" she muttered.

" Okay then" I smiled as I replied..
I heard her calling Kwesi. " Kwesi aren't you done yet"

I couldn't hear what she said next.

About some minutes later Kwesi was done, he came out of the room, he quickly smiled at me.

Ooh my God,he is So handsome, cute, gentle, infact he is just perfect. I was lost in my thoughts when suddenly I felt a touch on my shoulder,which suddenly brought me back to reality..

" Uh" was all I could say to him.

" What were you thinking about" he muttered.

" Nothing was just lost,that's all" I lied.

" Good morning and how was your night?" He asked.

" Morning, my night was good. Hope you too same? I replied.

" Yh, mine too was great" he mumbled,but I managed to hear him.

" Kwesi, what's wrong, is everything okay?  I asked in a sad tone.

" Is just that I would miss you alot Adama" he muttered as he was looking me straight in the eyes.

" Awwn, I would miss you too" I said as we gave each other a hug.

We heard a  clearing throat,then we quickly broke the hug.

" I faked a smile"as I felt so embarrassed.

I continued,so are you done now? I asked.

" Yes, we are done" they replied.

" Good then, I guess we should start leaving" I said as I stood up.

"Yeah, what says the time? I asked
Well, Kwesi checked on his wrist watch " it's 7:30" he said.

"Let's start going then, or unless you want to miss your bus" I said in a teaser voice.

" What! He exclaimed as he continued, I wouldn't,let's go.

" Sure!!" We both chorus.

On our way to the station,we were just talking about random stuffs.about  ten minutes time we arrived at the bus station.

"Until we meet again" Kwesi muttered
" Until then, have a safe trip" we both chorus,as we gave each other a hug, then he went inside the bus while waving at us, we waved back at him.

About some few minutes time their bus took off.

"Kodu lana!! ( banana seller!!) Someone called out to me.

" Ala la kodu ( how much do you sell banana?) He asked.

" GHC 2" I replied him with a smile.

" Tor Tim'ma( okay give me) 4 cedis" he requested.

I picked up the amount he wants to buy and kept it a nylon bag and handed over to him.as he exchange the money to me.

Anisa and I decided to sit at the station for a while.

"Thankfully today is my first, alot of people are buying I'm just happy" I said to Anisa.

"Yeah, you are very lucky" Anisa muttered with a smile plastered on her face.

"Anisa wouldn't you go home, you might have some work at home" I muttered.

She heaved a sigh as she continued " don't worry,I have nothing doing for now, besides I woke up very early today and did all my chores,so I have nothing left".

" Are you sure?" I asked while staring at her.

" Sure trust me, today is just gonna be You and I selling the fruits.

" Awwn,thank you so much Anisa"
" For what dear?" She asked.

" For everything you have been doing for me, for being a friend,like a sister" I uttered as I gave her a tight hug.

"Awwn mention not dear, what are friends for" she said as she chuckled.

" Young lady, give me some watermelon, how much is it?" A customer interrupted.

" Sir please it' s Ghc1" I replied with a smile.

" Okay, give me GHC 2"

' okay sir, I said as I quickly sliced it and package it  in a  nylon bag for him.

I handed it over to him, then he paid for it and left.

We sat at the station for about three hours, so Anisa and I decided to go to her house to rest a little.

" Wow, today's business start was good, see we almost sold everything on the tray" she uttered with a smile which made us both giggled.

" Yes oo, I will always make sure I come here to sell my fruits,this place has market paa".

We continued talking about random things,then we reached her house.

" Wow, this was a rough day we had" Anisa muttered.

" Yeah, indeed today was a rough day" I replied as we took a seat.

" Let me get us some water to drink first" she said as she got up.

" Yes oo, hurry up please, I'm dying of thirst.

" C'mon Don't be silly!" She exclaimed as she went inside the compound.

"She brought the water and we drank everything without leaving a single drop"

"Why don't we go to the kitchen to find something to eat" Anisa muttered.

" Okay then" I said as we both left for the kitchen.

Yay!! It is an update.

Assalamualaikum guys, just want to tell you that,we are getting closer to end of this book, maybe some two, three chapters remaining..

Yeah I know I'm a lazy writer, don't mind me please 😂
