~Adama~

"Adama are you ready now?, Sure you wouldn't want us  to miss the early morning bus" Anisa asked as she came inside the room

"Sure I'm almost done" I muttered as I continued. What time is it now

" Well.. she said while checking on her phone. It's 6:30am , she replied.

" I am done now, let's start going" I muttered as she helped me with my bag.

On our way going to the station we bumped into Peter and Eric.
Peter was the least person I expected to set my eyes on for making me pass through all this trauma.
I couldn't just walk pass him without uttering a single word.

"Peter" I called out to him as I continued.

" I'm leaving this town, because I can't put my life on hold by marrying an old man just because of you.

"This pregnancy I'm carrying which you've refused to accept responsibility for, I swear to God that it shall never be well with you, you shall never hear a cry of a baby in your life" I said as my eyes where covered with tears but I managed to pull it back.

He became numb as he couldn't utter a single word. Immediately I was done talking, I pulled Anisa along with me , we left their presence.

We reached at the bus station and we bordered a bus to Accra.

Adama!

Adama!!

But where is this stupid girl.

Anne!!

Yes mom!!

"Go inside and wake that useless girl Adama, just look at the time. She didn't even bother to come out to do her chores today, go inside  and call her for me"

" Yes mom" I said as I rushed inside the house. Some minutes later I came out again.

" Mom, Adama is not there oo, I checked and her clothes too were gone" I muttered out.

" What!!, And where could this girl g.." she was still saying when Chisom cut her by the act.

( She came running outside vomiting)

" Chisom" she called her.

" Yes mom" she responded while turning to puke again.

" What is wrong with you" she asked.

" Mom I don't know, I just woke up feeling nauseous" she managed to mumble.

" Chisom, when last did you get your period" she asked with gritted teeth.

"Last two months" she uttered.

" So you mean last month and this month you didn't get your period" she asked in a shaky voice.

" Ye.. yes" she stammered.

" Chisom you have killed me, now I want you to tell me who the heck is responsible for this" she scolded.

" I..is( she began to stammer when my mom started hitting her hard) , then she started to talk. I don't know because Mondays were for kojo, Wednesday was for Ezekiel, Saturday was for peter and some other guys"
( Upon hearing these my mom collapsed).

We sprinkled some water on her and she regained consciousness, she continued with the interrogation.

Chisom you have killed me, you don't even know the one responsible for the pregnancy eei.

" come with me" she said as she pulled her to a more private place, probably because she didn't want me to hear their conversation but I tiptoed and hid myself to hear them.

Chisom so tell me among the men that slept with you, whom do you think is a responsible man that can cater  for it.

" Mo..mom ( she stammered as she continued) Pe.. Peter" she voiced out.

" Good then, right this minute we are going to his house" she muttered.

Upon hearing these I gasped as I ran without them noticing to the house, no I wouldn't let their evil plan work, I must call peter no matter what to reveal the truth to him.

They left to his house and fortunately for me Chisom didn't take her phone with her, so I picked it up praying I would find his contact on it. Behold I found his contact. I quickly dialed it, it took him some minutes to answer,when he finally did, I told him to come to our house to sort himself out that there is trouble, upon saying this, i ended the call.

I went and sat outside waiting on his arrival, some minutes later he arrived with his friend Eric.

Thank God you are here!! I exclaimed.
" Anne is everything okay?" he asked
" We..well,  Chisom Is pregnant!" I muttered.

" What!!! Pregnant?" he exclaimed.

" Yes but I don't think it is yours, I think by now they might have reached your house" upon saying this i saw them returning back home
" Peter!!, We are just from your house, thank God we have now seen you here" mom uttered.

" And why would you be looking for me ma" he asked as if he didn't know what was happening.

" Chisom here is pregnant for you" mom voiced out.

" It's a lie, peter you are not responsible for the pregnancy, they are trying to put the responsibility on you" I managed to voice it out.

"""""
" What!! You little brat, she said as she quickly pushed Anne's head to the wall, then blood started ozzing out of her head, causing her to pass out.

" Chisom!! What have you done to my daughter" her mom voiced out in horror.

Then quickly Chisom turned to find her sister lying in her own pool of blood.

Anne please wake up please!! She screamed in horror too.

Peter and Eric helped to take her to the hospital.

They waited for what seems like half an hour, when suddenly the doctor appeared with a sad impression which made them quickly stood up to their feet.

" Please doctor how is my daughter?" She asked in a shivery voice.

" The doctor nodded his head as he continued, ma'am we are sorry, we lost  her"

Upon hearing this she passed out.
