[One month later]

I left to the shop at around 7am,I unpacked the things that are suppose to be outside the shop,then I swept the shop and did some cleaning,after that I arranged the items in its order then took a seat.

Some minutes later I had my first costumer.

"Hello"

Hi, you're welcome ma'am.

Thank you, please give me a loaf of bread.

"Please which type ma?" I asked.

" Give me sugar bread" she requested.

"Okay Ma, here you go"I said and handed it over to her.

"Thank You, and have a nice day" she said.

About an hour later, I felt like sleeping I just laid on the bench and decided to take a nap,in the nap I had a day dream which was bad,but couldn't picture what was exactly wrong,as I woke up with my heart beating so fast,to the extent that I developed a little headache, I took some water to help subside the headache a bit.

Adama!

Adama!!

I heard my name as I raised my head up, I saw Anisa.

"Anisa you're back already I've missed you alot" I said to her as I hugged her.

"Same too dear, because I've missed you that's why I came back to see you" she said.

"Awwn, see how you're looking fine, I can see your aunt is really taking care of you"I said to her then she giggled and blushed at same time.

"You can say that again, even you are looking good" she said teasingly.

Ooh before I forget,meet my cousin,
kwesi meet my friend Adama,
Adama meet my cousin Kwesi.

" Is nice meeting you in person,I heard alot about you" He said.

"Thank you, is nice meeting you too" I said as I blushed.

"Well, now that you are here, let me lock up so that we can go home" I said to them.

" Okay then that's fine" she replied.

"Some minutes later I was done locking the shop, so can we?"I asked.

"Yes please"she replied.

10minutes later,we were almost at my house upon reaching we saw alot of people seated quietly and my stepmom, Chisom and Anne crying while the people were consoling them.

"What is happening over here" I asked in a shaky voice with tears streaming down my face.

"Please can someone tell me what it is happening here?" I uttered.

" Adama please take heart,your fa..father got into an accident and passed on, please take heart" one of the people said to me.

"What!!, No no this is not true, please someone tell me is a lie,I want to see my father,no no,father this isn't what you promised me,noo, you told me you will come back" I fell on the bare floor and cried my heart out.

"Adama please take heart, it shall be well," Anisa consoled me with a teary eyes with a shaky voice.

"Adama please take heart" peter consoled me with a hug.

~Peter~

I was at my house washing some of my clothes when Eric came running to me,

"Peter"he called out to me.

"Yes, what's wrong?"I asked him in a haste.

"Peter,the worst has happened oo" he cried out.

"What is it, tell me what happened" I asked him.

"Hmm, Is Adama" he said with a shaky voice.

"What is it, tell me what happened to Adama" I asked nervously.

"Adama's father is dead oo, he got into an accident when he was returning back from his journey"

"What!!?,
Ooh my God, I've to go and see Adama, by now  they  might bhave broken the news to her, she might be in the house now" I said in a shaky voice as I allowed the tears flow  freely from my eyes.

"I ran as fast as my legs could carry me to their house with blurry eyes and Eric trailing behind.

Upon reaching,my heart felt heavy as I saw Adama lying down helplessly, crying bitterly, I rushed quickly to her and held her up as I gave her a hug and pattered her back gently.

" This isn't what he promised me, he..he promised to come back" she muttered while sobbing.

"Take heart okay, but is okay to cry your heart out" upon saying this, tears streamed down my cheeks freely, I just couldn't control it.
