A year later...

Two months after we left the village we got an apartment for Mom and Chisom also a  super market for Chisom, she and mom were very happy that we kept to our promise.

Recently my Mom even called to tell me that Chisom found a man who promised her marriage and that he would be coming with his elders to ask for her hand in marriage. Wow I'm so happy for my sister.

Speaking of Anisa, she also got married a year after Kwesi and I, she is heavily pregnant. She said she met her husband during her service year, she stays with her husband at Kumasi.

Anisa is now an accountant and her husband is a bank manager.

They do come to visit us once in a while, which my husband and I also do.

Few months after we left the village I gave birth to a bouncing baby boy, which we named him David.

I wouldn't say Kwesi and I are the perfect couple no, marriage is not always a bed of roses, we had some few misunderstandings but we manage to over-look each others problems.

But I thank God that we are able to settle our misunderstandings without inviting any third party.
