(I'm not doing April, March, and May chapters since I cannot remember like anything important for those chapters. Also warning, this chapter will be very long, at least in my perspective of what long is but yeah.)

(p.s I am adding mood songs to each new chapter for my overall feelings of that time)

I wake up to the sound of chirping birds, today is Saturday, June 1st. Finally, it was pride month and even better Megan has her birthday party tonight, which is a sleepover! Today I'd get to meet Robin and play on Jessie's soccer team, Robin who is one of Megan's best friends but she goes to East.

10 AM rolled around and Jess picked me up to head to the game. Soon enough we pulled into the parking lot at the YMCA. We both got out and dribbled soccer balls to our game field, meeting up with my friend, Rylie.

The whistle blew and I passed the ball to Rylie and she kicked it down the field quickly. Though she was still maintaining complete control over the ball, I watched her from the side of the goal moving so she could pass to me.

"Skylar!!" She shouted and instantly passed to me.

I acted quickly and booted the ball right into the goal!

After kicking with such force I fell to the ground,  my hand had dug into a rock, leaving bloody cuts as I laid drenched in mud.

I closed my eyes and opened them to see my friend standing above me, "You okay Sky?"

She looked upset but I nodded my head a little and she smiled, helping me get to my feet.

Then it started to storm so we went home and I took a quick shower, after that I started packing and before I knew it, it was time to go to the sleepover.

Not going to lie but I am so nervous to go to this sleepover.

Like I just wanted to not mess up at all... I don't know why I just worry way too much, to the point where I start shaking.

Maybe it was because of all the crush stuff or just because I wanted to actually be friends with this Robin chick.

"Ahhh what if somebody has the same gift as me or- rrrgh!"

I kept getting lost in my thoughts not paying attention to where we were at the moment until my Mom tapped my shoulder.

"Shit..."

I murmured while throwing my duffel bag over my shoulder and stepping out of my Mom's black Subaru. 

I've been watchin' you for some time

Slowly I walked inside going up the stairs as quietly as I could, thoughts still occupied my mind so I wasn't even paying attention when Megan and the others popped up next to me.

Within a few minutes, we were outside just messing around, of course, I noticed Robin standing next to me.

Can't starin' at those ocean eyes

 I tried so hard to find the right words to say but she broke the silence,

"Hey are you Skylar? I'm Robin, Megan talks a lot about you!" 

I felt a smile creeping up my face, something told me this girl was going to connect with me a lot.

"Yeah that's me, the one and only!"

I replied and she laughed a bit...

"Why is that laugh so cute?" 

Burning cities and napalm skies

That thought kept repeating in my head every time she laughed throughout the time outside, so far we had tons of things in common.

She liked cosplaying, tennis, Five Night's at Freddy's, Steven Universe, and art just like me!!

After running around in the street and quoting every possible vine, we all went inside to play some pinball.

Fifteen flares inside those ocean eyes

I was focusing really hard too, "Oh my god I'm so close to beating my personal record!!!" Just as I said that the ball went right in between the pins,

"EEEEEEEK"

I let out a small scream and deep sigh. "Uh hey so... Could we talk some more?" 

Your ocean eyes

Robin was next to me again,

"Huh-? Oh yeah sure but... Let's just go in this corner, somethings I can't say too loud..."

We sat together kind of close behind the blue pinball machine since there wasn't a lot of space.

I fell my face heat up a bit because I haven't ever been right against somebody that I liked without them moving a bit over to create space in between.

No fair

 "If you don't mind me asking, what do you identify as?" she whispered to me as I replied "I'm not sure but I know I'm definitely not straight, see I've liked a few girls before...Including Megan." As I said the last part I saw Robin's eyes almost light up.

You really know how to make me cry 

 "I like her too so... I know how it feels" Robin was somebody who I knew understood what I felt, the love and the pain, she just made me feel somewhat safe and comfortable.

"What are you guys doing and or talking about?"

Instantly our heads shot up at Megan, "Uh just a deep conversation" I gave her a look "Uh okay"  she said while walking away.

Later on, Megan started to open our gifts and I had a smile on my face as she opened my gift.

I got her some Stranger Things merchandise since I know she likes Stranger Things, from my perspective it looked like she enjoyed the gifts.

Again I started to fall deep into the sea of thoughts, not even wanting to come up for breath yet, I snapped out of it and sighed as the time kept going by in a blur. 

I'm scared

Eventually, the guys left and it was just me, Megan, Anika, and Robin left for the actual sleepover part. We started off spilling some secrets and stuff like that...

Also by playing Never Have I Ever I found out new things I didn't even know about Megan and the others. We started having song battles and that was actually my idea but that doesn't matter.

It was hard to pick the better song or to even pick my own song, I got this weird feeling because I kept wanting to just spill so many feelings... 

Never fallen from quite this high

I couldn't decipher what I was even feeling, so many mixed things, and then I look over at Robin.

"Heh, cute..." I whisper and then look back to my computer, "What was that-?" I heard Megan say.

"O-oh! Nothing it's not important!"

I felt the heat sting my cheeks as I knew my lying was probably pretty obvious- what am I even THINKING ABOUT?!

Fallin' into your ocean eyes

Hah... Truth or dare, one of the best party games out there, anything can happen, anything at all.

"Uh, Skylar, Truth or dare?"Robin smiled a little while asking "Dare" I returned a smile.

"Choose a dare from the dirty section"

I felt my insides screaming as I scrolled through the dares to find the least bad dare, "Okay this one seems good, sit on top of/cuddle with somebody for one round. But who do I do it to?" I asked nervously,

"Anybody"

Really she had to say, anybody? Now I didn't need things awkward with Megan and I didn't even know Anika that well so that left me with one option. Robin.

"Then I choose you" I crawled over to her and cuddled into her, laying on her and hugging her arm.

Megan and Anika had a look of somewhat curiosity.  "Dude your warm" I said with a soft tone, "I know" Robin responded.

Megan looked at us "You guys are so gay..." "Yeah, we know.." The game went on and I didn't even move, I was so comfortable with this girl and I just met her today.

"You guys should just get together already!" Megan said with a smirk "I wouldn't mind" I said softly "Neither would I" Robin said and I looked up at her, glancing into her eyes that I easily got lost in.

I've been walkin' through a world gone blind

Those hours were like minutes, they flashed by too quickly for me. It was now 11 pm and we were told to go to bed so we turned off everything, all except for me. Robin and I were watching some Steven Universe at a very low volume. 

Can't stop thinkin' of your diamond mind

She liked Ruby and Sapphire so I put on the episode called Jailbreak where Steven first meets the two gems unfused instead of being Garnet. She laid against my backside, close enough to where I felt her breath on my neck, which sent shivers up my spine and I blushed like crazy.

We finished the episode and then she whispered "I think we should get some sleep, goodnight dude" and with that, she rolled over and drifted asleep.

Careful creatures made friends with time

 After everything that had happened I couldn't sleep at all, so many thoughts just checked in and out of my mind.

While turning off my laptop a few hours later I yawned while stretching I was pretty sure I was the only one left awake.

She left her lonely with a diamond mind

 Of course, it was thunder storming outside so my nerves didn't really relax until I rolled over to face the girl right next to me. I felt a bit of security and safety fill my body and then I fell asleep.

And those ocean eyes
