Today was finally the day and it was finally time to face something scary. My friends. Just kidding haha! We're actually going to The Haunt tonight which is an amazing haunted house that I usually go to every year but with my family.

Although this year I get to go with two of my friends and it's going to be so fun!

Maybe apart from the fact that I might lose my voice from screaming but I guess that's just part of the fun!

5:30 pm, I was in my room getting ready for the night. I put on a black hoodie and a signature pair of sweatpants that I usually wore. I then excitedly exited my room and went into the bathroom to do a little makup.

I put on some black eyeliner and then some mascara on my eyelashes. I really didn't need too much cause we'd be walking in pretty low light for the whole time anyway but I just felt like it.

Half a hour later my friend pulled into my driveway and I quickly darted down the stairs, stumbling down to my feet and almost getting hurt. Well can you blame me? I'm excited as hell!!

I grabbed my ticket and put in my pocket and ran put to greet my friend Megan. "Ready for some fun dude?" I asked.

Megan laughed softly and nodded. We then got into the car and we were on our way. The other friend that was with us was Anika and I thought she was pretty chill and nice so I didn't mind her coming with us. Plus I considered us friends so yeah haha.

Before we knew it they were letting us through the entrance and we went down a long dark passage where we found lines of tape on the ground. They had us stand in the second line and wait for it to start.

In the meantime we talked a bit and decided on the order we'd go in as. Since we were the second group to be entering we wouldn't have to wait long at all like others might have.

That was when the guy said we could go in then so we hugged and then laughed at each other. I liked getting a hug from Anika though.. It made me feel safer if anything I guess. Though I punched both of them lightly as we entered. I was first, Megan and Anika tried to be second and walk together behind me.

It's close to midnight

There was a guy as we went around the corner and it didn't scare me but the way he got in my face made me a little uncomfortable. "Really! I JUST DID THESE CROPS AND NOW YOU ARE STEPPING ALL OVER THEM! WHY ARE YOU DOING THAT?!" He yelled at us and we hurried along the path.

Something evil's lurking in the dark~

I made sure the others were following me as we entered a wooden house kind of structure. We walked through and empty kitchen room when pans started to randomly rattle and we all screamed.

Under the moonlight

Then the room started shaking and we all rushed out of it, ending up going into a hallway. The paintings on the wall dropped down and people reached out to us, causing us to rush out of that section.

You see a sight that almost stops your heart

Soon enough we had reached a clearing where we stood on more lines of tape. The next section was a sanitarium so I was a little nervous.

You try to scream but terror takes the sound before you make it

My friends laughed softly as we talked about the section we just went through, "That wasn't too scary for you now? Was it?" An actor asked us.

You start to freeze

We shook our heads and he noticed my hat, he knew it was from Steven Universe and began to sing the theme to which we sang along. The light then turned green and we walked inside the sanitarium, pushing bloody looking streamer out of the way so we could see.

As horror looks you right between your eyes

Within the next few halls and rooms there were constant jumpscares and blood all over the walls. "Don't leave me here please! Take with with you they'll kill me!" A patient screamed and we kept walking as she started to cry.

You're paralyzed

We reached this strobe light kind of maze and it was almost impossible to see anything.

'Cause this is thriller! Thriller night

Anika is sensitive to strobes so we had to lead her through it by tugging her along. The person in the maze followed us out too it was creepy.

And no one's gonna save you from the beast about to strike~

Soon enough we reached another clearing which meant we had made it out.. Thank god.. My anxiety was starting to peak in there and I didn't like it.

You know it's thriller- thriller night!

We made our way over to the taped lines on the ground and stood in the second line since the first group was waiting to go in.

You're fighting for you life inside a killer

The next section that we were supposed to go in was a factory/industrial type thing so it couldn't be that bad- right? We stood fro a few minutes and interacted with a psychopath that had a sledgehammer.

Thriller tonight, yeah, ooh!

The greater by the door pushed a button and laughed maniacally as we were walking inside. A steal door shut loudly behind us once we were inside the new area and it caused us to jump.

You hear the door slam and realize there's nowhere left to run

The sound of loud machinery was all around us as we walked through the terrifying walls. All of the sudden the light all went out and turned on. Three people with purge masks were now in front of us and watching us as we pushed by.

You feel the cold hand and wonder if you'll ever see the sun

All around us walls dropped and people screamed at us, making us jump in agonizing fear... We walked into another room to see nothing but a door and a cage to which a actor with a chainsaw jumped put at us and made us walk even quiker.

You close your eyes and hope this is just imagination

After rushing out of there we thought we were safe as we entered a room with black light flooded all around it. There was glowing green liquid flowing from pipes down the walls and such. It didn't seem that there was anyone in there so we walked through there confidently.

Girl, but all the while you hear a creature creeping up behind

Out of nowhere three factory workers with masks on came out, two of them cornering Anika and Megan while the other just stared deeply into my soul.

You're out of time

A chill ran up my spine as I looked back. Though I then looked to my friends and overheard the workers talking to them. "You Purdy~" one of them said directly to Anika and purred. She giggled and I smiled. We then were able to exit the room so we did.

Cause this is thriller, thriller night. There ain't no second chance agaisnt the thing with 40 eyes, girl~

Finally we made it out of there and then we were at the very last section. The clown section... I think Anika was at least somewhat scared of Clowns so we all tried to walk together instead of in a line.

Ooh, ooh, thriller! Thriller night!

We had to shove through this thing as we entered but then we had space. We all gripped onto each other for comfort as we were greeted by our first clown asking for tickets we didn't have.

We started to pick up a quick space and rushed by the cage until being stopped by someone. He looked and me and asked for a kiss to which my eyes went wide and I said, "I'm gay I'm gay I'm gay no thank you!" And walked away.

Night creatures call and the dead start to walk in their mascarade~

The other two laughed and I pouted at it. Though those laughs turned into screams as we got jumpscared. They basically jumped onto each other too which caused me to snicker, "Hah who's scared now?" I kept laughing but then cut off as we reached a pitch black room.

There's no escaping the jaws of the alien this time, they're open wide, this is the end of your life, ooh!

I held tightly onto the girls as we walked through the black room. We saw a very dim light and walked slowly towards it in fear.

They're out to get you

Surprisingly though there wasn't anything other then the darkness in that room.. At least I think so.. maybe not.. But that lead us to a part which was a spinning thing with a bridge over it. Like in a funhouse those things if you know what I mean.

There's demons closing in on every side, ooh!

We chanted "Ooh ooh" as we walked through it and reached another funhouse like attraction, a mirror maze.. Full of strobe lights.

They will possess you, unless you change that number on your dial

We both held onto Anika and helped her get through it again. We walked down a mirror hall and then saw a girl who was in a bridge position.

Now is the time, for me and you to cuddle close together, yeah!

She ran backwards at us and we screamed, running into another mirror room. This room was very claustrophobic and we were stuck. There was literally nowhere left to go and this clown guy was just staring at us. We were surrounded by walls...

All through the night I'll save you from the terror on the screen, I'll  make you see!

The clown smiled and started to whistle at us as we awkwardly stared at him. He then pushed one of the mirrors open and we were able to get out.

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night! 'Cause I can thrill you more than any mhm ghoul would ever dare to try

As we got out of the maze of mirrors we felt a cold breeze wrap around us like it was hugging us.

So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller, chiller~ Thriller here tonight!

We were in this dark hallway that seemed to be empty but that could not be true.. right?

'Cause this is thriller, thriller night. Girl, I can thrill you more than any ghoul would ever dare to try~ ooh ooh

Well duh.. obviously it wasn't true.. There was a killer clown at the end of it with a chainsaw. He came running at us and I froze in fear.

Thriller, thriller night! So let me hold you tight and share a killer, thriller I'm gonna thrill you tonight!

Megan tugged on me and I snapped out of it as he was directly in front of us now. We slowly walked around him and looked back, he then started to rev the chainsaw.

Darkness falls across the land, the midnight hour is close at hand.

The laugh of that thing was creepy so we decided to get the hell out of there. We all ran one by one out of there. Finally we made it through all of it...

Creatures crawl in search of blood to terrorize y'all's neighborhood.

"Oh my god! That was so scary and fun!" I started to laugh as we walked out the exit together. The others agreed and we started talking about each of the creepy things we noticed and such.

I'm going to thrill you tonight

"Okay okay we all agree that we are all doing this again next year, right?" I asked and they agreed. "That shit is going to be hella fun!" I chuckled as we pushed the door open and were now outside.

And whosoever shall be found without the soul for getting down must stand and face the hounds of hell and rot inside a corpse's shell~

We kept talking about it as we got into Megan's car. Her dad asked us how it was and we just started to go on and on about it . We definitely had to do it again the next year!

I'm going to thrill you tonight. Thriller, ooh, thriller. I'm going to thrill you tonight, thriller night, thriller~

As we kept driving back I showed off a few memes and videos I had on my phone as Anika kept going on about the "miner" guy that said she was pretty.

I'm gonna thrill you tonight! Ooh babe, I'm gonna thrill you tonight. Thriller night babe~

''I swear nobody but that miner guy likes me!" She laughed, "He even purred in my face! There isn't any way that he didn't like me!" We all giggled from the fact that Anika basically feel in love with that guy. It was funnier then it sounds trust me!!

The foulest stench is in the air, the funk of 40 thousand years.

I looked at Anika and smiled softly, something was different about her.. She was super pretty and cool and I seemed to like it..

And grisly ghouls from every tomb are closing in to seal your doom!

Wait a second.. I don't like her do I..? I asked myself and then shook my head. No no I like Robin.. We're dating- sorta.. This whole situation made me feel like Robin didn't care though at this point.

And though you fight to stay alive your body starts to shiver.

Like I knew Robin loved me but she wasnt in love with me and I could definitely feel it... It was really stressful and annoying to deal with.. I then snapped out of my thoughts and smiled to the others. We were at my house.

For no mere mortal can resist the evil of thriller!

As I waved goodbye to them and said thanks I watched them leave from my window inside. To that point I ate an ice cream sandwich before plopping down on my bed to go into another train of thought about Robin and Anika.

Both of them were just so cute and smart and funny.. they were to my best intrest too because I knew for sure Robin LOVED me back and maybe Anika liked me..? I wish she did, maybe she does but I really don't know why she would. Infact I don't know why anyone likes me other for the fact that I'm funny, loyal, and always there for them. Sometimes I feel used by that.. like people only need me when they're upset and they are never there for me when I need them the most. "Hey! Quit thinking like that.." I sighed and slapped my forehead. My eyes eventually grew heavier the more I went into thought. Soon enough they were too heavy to keep open.

This caused me to fall into a slumber and dream on about the night I just had..

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
