One day, Kartik and Naira were standing outside in verandah

Kartik: Why don't you come and join my office. We will work together. I have seen your work, we together can  make anything possible.
Naira: But college?
Kartik: Don't worry, after college and weekends, I'll train you.

Days went like this only, Kartik sometimes pick Naira from the college and on weekends, they spent their time together.

One day, it was around 8pm and Naira still haven't reached home. Naira was working with her friends on a project in college. Her phone was on silent mode, she was unaware of the phone calls of Kartik.

It was 9 pm and he was hell worried. Her mother came back home, and told Kartik that she has received a call from her, she will be a little late today.
But Kartik being Kartik, took his car keys and went to her college. There she saw her working with her friends.

Kartik: Naira..
Naira: Kartik.. tum yaha?
Kartik: Bahut late ho gaya h, ghar chalen?
Naira: Kartik.. mera competition paas aa raha h, so I have to be here, so that we can complete it on time.
Kartik: Haan, thik h, subah jaldi aa jana, itni raat tak aise rukna sahi nahi h, chalo ghar chalo.
Naira does not want to go because all her friends were working, and they would not like if she went home.
She tried to convince Kartik. When her friends also tried to tell him the same, he got angry.
Kartik: Mujhe kuch nahi sunna. Itni raat ko itne sunsaan si jagah pe, main tumhe nahi rehne de sakta. Chalo, ab tum iss project pe kaam nahi karogi.

And he hold her hand and take her away. In the car, both were silent. Naira was on the verge of crying, maybe because she was angry.
Kartik tried to initiate,
Kartik: I am sorry. Tum mere saath kisi project pe kaam karlo. Mujhe lagta h ab kaafi kuch seekh gayi ho tum. You can take a project of your own. Chalo batao, koi idea h?
Naira: Kartik... Ye project bhi mere liye important tha. Pichle ek saal se, I was working on it. How can you do this? You can't take decision on my behalf.
Kartik: Naira, tum ro kyun rahi ho. Acha, okay fine. Sorry!

After this they didn't say anything and went to their respective homes.
Next day, Naira went early to the college and again started working on the project.
It's been 2 weeks and they both haven't seen each other.
