The simple smile of a stranger

A simple shake of the hand

Or the calming reassurance of a pilot

Saying that we will land

I've see God

In day-to-day kindness

In every person I love

I might see His likeness

As one to love

As one to know

To see the troubles

To be the conscience

He comforts the panic

He saves help from the fears

And helps through the pain

And when no one hears

His presence can be found

In the Holy Spirit

It teaches

It loves

It guides through the problems

Through the light

And darkness

Through the ups

And downs

Through the the joy

And torture

Through Hell

And paradise
