Kelly's POV

It's been a week since I returned to my pack. After I told everyone what happened while I was gone, we all decided it was best if we prepared for war. Even if we have to take the war to Skylight Pack, we will.

Today, we are not preparing, due to us adding two new members to our pack. That's right—Fay and Jarred are becoming Blood Night pack members.

Fay and I are closer than ever. She is like my soul sister. Jarred and she have completed the mating bond and are doing very well. As for me and Jarred, we are friends; there are still some things I can't get over, but we are working in the right direction.

As I'm finishing the last touches of my makeup, I hear a knock at the door. "Come in."

"Hey, beautiful! You ready to go?" Dom asks as he kisses me on the cheek.

"Yes, I am," I smile back at him.

We arrive in the backyard where everyone is waiting. They stand up as Dom and I take our place on stage.

"You all may be seated," Dom starts off.

"As you all know, we are here today to welcome two new pack members."

Everyone howls in joy at gaining two new members. We are all one big family that will protect each other at all costs.

Jarred and Fay make their way in front of me and Dom. They both bow their heads in respect of the Alpha and Luna.

"Fay, do you promise to protect and defend this pack at all costs?"

"I do," Fay responds with a smile as joy reflects in her eyes.

"Do you promise to ensure your Alpha and Luna's safety?"

"I do."

"Great, now please hold out your right hand so we can complete your bond to the pack."

Fay holds her hand up to Dom. Dom takes the knife and cuts his and her hand. They quickly put their hands together so the bond can be sealed.

Once they let go of each other, everyone cheers for Fay as they feel the connection form. Next is Jarred's turn.

"Jarred, as a former soon-to-be Alpha, I have to ask you: are you sure you want to give that birthright up? You do understand that means your pack will be combined with mine, and I will remain Alpha? Alphas, Alpha, I understand and am sure I want to give my rights up."

"Alright," Dom states and repeats what he said to Fay. He grabs the knife once again and cuts his and Jarred's hand, and the process is repeated.

"Blood Night pack, I am proud to introduce your two newest pack members," I state to the pack. Everyone howls in excitement once again.

"I have one last thing to announce," Dom states. Everyone looks confused but listens closely.

"As you all know, I do not have a Third in Command. With that being said, I would like to announce that I do now, as well as we now have a Third in Command female: Jarred and Fay."

Jarred and Fay's heads both snap to look at Dom. I smile so wide with joy for them.

"Are you serious, Alpha?" they both ask.

"Dom, just call me Dom, and yes, do you accept?"

"Yes!" they both say in unison.

Everyone cheers for their new Third in Command couple.

After the ceremony, everyone enjoyed each other's company. It's currently 11 PM, and only the high ranks are in the house.

"I can't believe you're staying with us in the same house now," I say to Fay.

"I know! I'm so excited; I wasn't expecting this at all."

"Me either," I state back to her as we continue eating popcorn while focusing back on the movie we were watching.

After the movie ended, we said our good nights and went to our rooms to be with our mates.

"Hey, beautiful," Dom says as soon as I walk into the room.

"Hey, my love," I say as I crawl into the bed beside him.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?"

"Ready as I will ever be," I say back. Tomorrow is the day we plan to go to my old pack and take down Alpha Joe and my mother for good.

"Okay, my love, get some rest. Good night; I love you," Dom says as he pulls me closer to him.

"I love you too, Dom."

Everyone is currently in the SUVs waiting for mine and Dom's orders. We are outside the border for the Skylight pack.

"Alpha, Luna Kay," states Kyle as he approaches the SUVs, "we are ready to go when you are."

"Alright, everyone shift into your wolves and remember only to attack those who fight. Don't harm children or women who aren't part of the pack. Be safe and watch each other's backs!"

"Yes, Alpha!" everyone responds.

"Now shift!" Dom's voice boomed.

Dom and I take the lead. Kyle is on our right, and Jarred and Fay are on our left. We aren't in wolf form.

The plan is to go in with us in plain view and try to get my mother and Joe to submit. If they don't—which we know they won't—that's when our warriors and pack will come out and attack, and we will shift if needed.

We approach the pack house without problems since Jarred is with us. "Obviously, Joe hasn't said anything about Jarred to the pack," Athena says to me.

"I know, which makes me wonder what he plans to do," I reply, but block her after so I can focus on what's happening around me.

"Alpha Joe!" Dom's voice booms throughout the area. "Come out here and face the punishment of your crimes," Dom states with so much power and determination.

The door swings open. Joe, his Luna, Beta, and my mother all come out.

"Jarred, oh my god! Where have you been?" Jarred's mother says with concern for her son.

All eyes turn to Jarred. "Mom, we will explain everything in time. For now, please just come to me and let Dom and Dad—" (he said "Dad" with venom) "—talk this out."

Jarred's mom looked confused but still went and embraced her son in her arms.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't my so-called daughter," my mother said.

"Mother," was all I replied.

"What brings you all to my pack on this lovely day?" Joe says with a smirk on his face.

"You know why we are here. We have come to offer you a chance to make things right."

"What if I decline?" he states with amusement in his eyes.

"How about you go ahead and find out!" I growl out at him.

His pack didn't like the disrespect I showed to their Alpha. , Alphahey growled back in response.

Dom went to growl at them, but I held my hand up and looked at what I used to call my pack.

"Don't you dare growl at me!" I say, using my strength and Luna voice! Everyone whimpered and submitted beneath me as their wolves knew I was their superior.

I smirked and turned back to Joe, who had a shocked look on his face.

"As Dom was saying, would you like to know your options?"

"Why not? Let's hear it," Joe states as he props himself against a post.

"You have one chance to submit to me and hand over the title as Alpha to Jarred, then come with us back to my pack, where you will be punished for kidnapping my Luna and for abusing her."

Before Dom could continue, Joe burst out laughing, which made me growl at him for interrupting my mate.

"And if I don't?" he smirks.

"You will have a war today!" Dom and I state.

"Well, war it is then! I don't submit to anyone!" Joe says with anger in his eyes.

"As you wish," Dom states.
