After School - 3:00pm

Rinku POV

Maho: He'll be here soon.

Rinku: Yeah! Your gonna like him!

Black Haired Girl: If I may ask, is this boy the same boy who is the only male student at Yoba Academy?

Short Girl: I think I've seen him before, he almost ran into me on the first day.

Rinku: Yeah! That's the guy.

Y/N: Hey! Sorry I'm late.

Maho: Actually, you arrived just in time.

Rinku: Meet our new members!

Y/N: Hello to you both, I'm Y/N L/N, but you can just call me Y/N.

Black Haired Girl: My name is Rei Togetsu

Short Girl: I'm Muni Ohnaruto, the girl you almost ran into on day one.

Y/N: Yeah I remember you. In fairness I was chasing after Rinku.

Maho: Now that we're all here. We should discuss roles for our DJ group and a name.

Y/N: We'll have Rinku on main vocals, Maho as DJ, Rei on Keyboard, and Muni as the VJ.

Rinku: What's a VJ?

Maho: It's the person who does all video presentations.

Muni: So am I in charge of advertising?

Y/N: Exactly that. You design the posters and videos.

Maho: Rei, you have experience with playing the piano, so I'm sure you'll have no problem playing keyboard.

Rei: I'll do my best!

Y/N: Lastly Maho and Rinko have preformed on stage before so they'll give you girls the run down.

Maho: What about you Y/N?

Rinku: Yeah I what's gonna be your role?

Rei: Your not going to be preforming with us?

Y/N: Maho, we've been over this.

Maho: But it was your idea to create a DJ group.

Muni: Wait, it was his idea?

Rei: Then why don't you want a bigger role?

Maho: Don't you want credit for something you created?

Rinku: Yeah! Don't you want to be on stage and sing with me.

Y/N: I said it's fine. I'll just help Maho compose music, I have experience with using a turn table and mixing music.

Maho: Ok then if that's what you want.

Rei: Right then all we need is a name for our DJ group.

Rinku: You know being around my friends make me really happy.

Y/N: How about Happy Around?

Rinku: Yes! I like that!

Maho: Happy Around? Sounds good to me.

Rei: Yes, I really love the name. 

Muni: Mmhm, from now on we'll be known as Happy Around.

Y/N: Let's practice our new song that Rei, Maho and I created.

Muni: I call it Happy Music, it even has a school bell remix at the beginning.

Rinku: All right I'm ready!

Muni: Ok! From the top.

The Next Day - 3:15pm
Yoba Academy Stage

Rei: Oh, I'm so nervous.

Y/N: Don't be, we've practice all day yesterday.

Rinku: I'm so excited!

Muni: Well at least someone is in a good mood.

Maho: Let's go this!

Y/N: Okay! Let's make Happy Around the most famous DJ group at Yoba!

Happy Around: YEAH!!

As Rinku, Maho, Muni, and Rei took to the stage I see the sparkles in their eyes. They look so happy while on stage preforming.......but why do I feel disgruntled.

15 Minutes Later
Dressing room

Y/N: Great job everyone

Rinku: That. Was. Awesome!

Rei: It felt really good to preform like that.

Maho: I really loved the song you made.

Y/N: I mean "we" made it, I couldn't have done it without your help Maho.

Muni: This calls for celebration.

Rinku: Oh I know! How about that new dessert place that opened near here!

Maho: Sounds good to me.

Muni: Let's go!

When we arrived, it was a small pop up shop that served many desserts such as: Crepes, Cake and Tarts. We all placed our orders and soon Rei caught our attention with what she ordered.

Cashier: Here you go dear, please enjoy.

Y/N: Uhh are sure you can finish that?

Rei: I don't know. It said it was today's special so I bought that. But I didn't know It would be this big.

Maho: Wow, even I don't think I could finish that.

Y/N: Really? You already finished yours.

Muni: Yeah Maho, help Rei finish hers.

Rinku: Hey! I wanna taste!

Y/N: Careful it doesn't melt, I'd be a waste a really good ice cream.

Rinku: Say Y/N, what flavor did you get?

Y/N: I went for strawberry cheesecake.

Muni: You must really like strawberries.

Y/N: Yeah. Come to think of it I really love strawberry or salted caramel anything.

Maho: Never expected that your a strawberry lover.

Y/N: Boys can love strawberries, it's not that weird.

Maho: Hey wanna taste some of mine, it's pistachio flavored.

Y/N POV

After enjoying our frozen treat, we concluded our meeting for the day. While walking my way home I noticed a blue haired girl who seemed lost.

Blue Haired Girl: Fueee where am I?

Y/N: Hello, do you need directions?

Blue Haired Girl: Yes! How do you get to the station? I've never been to this part of the city before.

Y/N: Sure. Just down the road and you'll see the sign of the left, you can't miss it.

Blue Haired Girl: Thank you so much.

Y/N: No problem. Take care now.

After showing the kind girl some directions. I can't help but feel that I've seen her somewhere before, maybe when I had to go to the hospital a few months back. I can't recall.

Next Day - 10:26am

Mom: Good morning Y/N.

Y/N: Good morning guys, what's the word today?

Mom: We talk to you about something important.

Y/N: Am I in trouble?

Dad: No your not in trouble. We thought your ready for a big responsibility, here take this key.

Y/N: What is this key for?

Mom: I recently got promoted to the Yoba academy headmaster, so we invested in a condo that is newly built, so the house is all yours.

Y/N: First of all congratulations but, just to be clear, your not abandoning here me are you?

Dad: No of course not! It's just time for you to learn how to live by yourself.

Y/N: What about bills? Or groceries?

Mom: That house is already paid for, Groceries that's on you, we'll send money to your bank account every month.

Dad: You'll be fine, we're here for you if you need any help.

Y/N: A house all to myself huh?

Mom: Decorate as you want, some oft the furniture is still inside the house.

Dad: See you later kiddo. Take care of the house.

Y/N: Bye guys, the house is in safe hands.

Mom: Bye for now son, We love you always.

After Mom and Dad left. I started to rearrange some of the furniture. Suddenly I heard a knock coming from the front door.

Y/N: Sorry. I'm not interested in your product.

Rinku: Hi Y/N!

Y/N: How did you find out where I live?

Rei: We saw your parents leave just now, and they told us that you were inside.

Muni: Is it alright for us to come in?

Y/N: Sure, make yourselves at home.

Maho: Wow you have a really nice home.

Y/N: Well, it's all mine now.

Rinku: No way! A house all to yourself?

Muni: Wow, I'm actually jealous.

Rinku: You can throw a lot of parties here!

Y/N: I enjoy my alone time. Speaking of which Happy Around can rehearse here whenever you girls want. I plan on making the basement into a place where we can practice and no one will hear us when we play music.

Maho: That's perfect, but are you sure we won't intrude?

Y/N: It's ok. Anyways I need to head to the grocery store to buy snacks and ingredients.

Rei: I'll go. Give me a list of things you guys want.

Y/N: Are you sure? I can go, you girls stay here.

Muni: He's right Rei, we're the guests after all.

Rei: Then how about we go together Y/N.

Y/N: That's a better compromise. Let's get going.

Rei: Yes. Lead the way.

After Rei and Y/N left for the supermarket, Rinku proposed that the three of them should follow from a distance.

Rinko: Let's follow them.

Maho: Why?

Rinku: I learned that Rei doesn't like to shop, or at least she doesn't go often. So why go when Y/N is going?

Maho: That is kinda odd.

Muni: I heard that Rei lives a sheltered life, what if she gets in trouble?

Rinku: Yeah! I don't want to Rei to get hurt.

Maho: U-uh but Y/N is with her.

Muni: Let's go just in case.

At Seiyu Supermarket

While going though supermarket, I couldn't help but feel that we were being followed. Until those suspicions were put to rest when I saw Rinku, Maho, and Muni were following us. For some reason I decided not to tell Rei and entertain the three girls.

Rei: I think that's the ramen Rinku wanted. So all we need is Potato Chips, Soda, and Tea.

Y/N: They should be in the next section.

Rei: You seem to know a lot about daily life.

Y/N: Yeah I go groceries with mom a lot. Do you go shopping often?

Rei: No actually. You see I come from a wealthy family, so I don't really do this very often, you can say that learning a lot from you.

Y/N: That's explains why your soft spoken and have a very polite personality.

Rei: Yes is that bad?

Y/N: No, I think girls like you are pretty cute.

Rei: Fufu thank you Y/N, that makes happy to hear that from you.

Y/N: I'm always happy to help a friend. If there's anything you need I'm here for you, same with the rest of Happy Around.

Rei: Happy Around just wouldn't be the same without you.

After paying for the groceries, Rei and I made our way home to find that Rinku, Muni, and Maho were enjoying snacks on the couch.

Y/N: Maho can you help me cook dinner?

Maho: Sure! What are we making?

Y/N: Fried Chicken, Gyoza, and Curry.

Maho: Ok! Let's do it!

After 45 mins of cooking, we set up the table with the all food we cooked laid out perfectly.

Rinku: Wow! This all looks so good!

Muni: Yeah! I can't wait to eat it.

Rei: Let's eat shall we?

Maho: Who knew you were good at cooking Y/N.

Y/N: My Mom taught me how to cook and make Gyoza when I was 10.

Rinku: This all taste really good!

Muni: Yeah Y/N your a good cook.

After eating Rinku and Muni volunteered to clean the dishes. After they were finished, they rejoined us in the living room.

Rinku: Hey Y/N, can we sleep over?

Y/N: Well I don't mind, I mean would your parents to say yes for a sleepover at a boy's house?

Muni: I didn't specify who's house to my parents.

Maho: My parents said it's fine to sleepover tonight.

Rei: we actually planned to ask you, I already got consent from my parents.

Rinku: We all have our PJs with us already.

Y/N: Where are you girls gonna sleep?

Rinku: Here in the living room, you have enough futons for all of us right?

Y/N: Ok then, you girls get changed while I get things set up.

Muni: No peeking Y/N!

Y/N: As if there anything to see from you.

Muni: I'm still growing, you'll see!

After setting up the futons, blankets, and pillows in living room, the girls came of the washroom wearing their pajamas.

While everyone slowly fell asleep, Y/N felt Maho cuddle up against him. Smiling and looking at the moon, wondering where the world might take him next. Maybe to meet up with someone from his past who would teach him that Life is to Enjoy.
