The aftermath of Peaky P-Key's show left many in awe of their new member, leaving Y/N with the media reporters and a disgruntled Tsubaki. Meanwhile Kyoko turns to her friends about a troubling decision that would bring Y/N and Shinobu closer together.

Yoba Academy Cafe: 7:00pm
Y/N POV

Peaky P-Key we're sitting down in a private part of the cafe to celebrate a success show and the resurgence of DJ Noir.

Kyoko: To another success show!

Esora: And to a our new member!

Peaky P-Key: Cheers!!!

Y/N: Thank you but sorta unnecessary.

Shinobu: Hey, with you on our unit we're unstoppable.

Yuka: Now then, let's take a picture of the new and improved Peaky P-Key!

Y/N: What's next on the agenda? More practice.

Kyoko: Actually, school media coverage.

Yuka: You've done interviews before haven't you?

Y/N: Well yeah, sometimes in a bad mood.

Esora: Ooo you should give the vague answers like sports athletes when they have a bad game.

Shinobu: I do that all the time during interviews.

Y/N: Okay then, But if they ask stupid questions I'm gonna give a sarcastic answer.

Kyoko: Then you have 5 mins before the press conference. Get going N/N!

Y/N: See you girls later!

Yoba Press Conference Room: 7:30pm

As I entered a room full of students from various school newspaper clubs, I sat down at the conference desk to adjust my microphone and then nodded to begin questioning.

Reporter 1: L/N-san, what was the main driving force for you to join Peaky P-Key?

Y/N: Umm they're good friends of mine, so when they invited me I took them up on their offer...

Reporter 2: Are you gonna appear on the Sunset Stage?

Y/N: Not talking about it...

Reporter 3: Ready for the next show?

Y/N: We'll see...

Reporter 4: Y/N, why are you wearing gloves in the interview?

Y/N: I've worn them before...

Reporter 5: When practicing for the next show, is it more about dancing or singing your part of the song?

Y/N: Uhh there all different, it's Djing...

Reporter 6: We're you at practice?

Y/N: Yeah I was there...

Reporter 6: How was it?

Y/N: It was fun...

Reporter 4: Y/N, why are you wearing gloves in the conference?

Y/N: She already asked that...

Host: Thank you for all the questions, there will be refreshing in the other room.

Shinobu: Straight from my book, good job Y/N.

Kyoko: Love your Tom Brady impression.

Esora: You look like your trying to contain your laughter up there.

Y/N: Trust me I would do a normal interview, but it's the popular thing nowadays to make the reporters look stupid.

Yuka: Their  just trying to do their jobs Y/N.

Y/N: Last time I checked, their jobs aren't to ask stupid questions.

Shinobu: Anyway, we'll be heading to the burger shop you coming with?

Y/N: Another time, I'm gonna head home.

Kyoko: See you later then Y/N.

As took a walk outside the academy where many of the students are now taking down their festival stands, I was called by a familiar voice that belongs to a black hair girl.

Tsubaki: Hello my dear Y/N...

Y/N: Tsubaki...

Tsubaki: It's there anything you would like to explain to me?

Y/N: I have no idea what you mean?

Tsubaki: I thought you and I promised we would be a DJ unit together one day.

Y/N: Okay...I never thought it would happen, it's was a stupid dream anyway.

Tsubaki: I believed it for 10 years! When you came back into my life, I thought it would finally come true!

Y/N: Sometimes...things will never go the way you want it to! You should better, back when you ran away from RONDO.

Tsubaki: How can you say that? It's like you don't care about how I feel anymore anymore!

Y/N: This is about me joining Kyoko isn't it?

Tsubaki: You never even talked to us before you made your decision.

Y/N: I don't have obligation to tell you what I do or don't do...

Tsubaki: Aoi was right about you.

Y/N: What does she know? She barely knows me...

Tsubaki: She said your just a snake who abandons his friends without any thought of remorse.

Y/N: That's bullshit, I would never abandon anyone!

Tsubaki: Why don't you ask Izumo-san about how she's feels about your relationship with Kyoko.

Y/N: Don't you bring Saki into this!

Tsubaki: How about Miyu? You seem to have broken her heart...

Y/N: How dare you Tsubaki...

Tsubaki: How dare I? You stand there and not even think about how your selfish actions effect others!

Y/N: You mean how effects how "you" feel, as it stands you seem to being taking this way to personally.

Tsubaki: Continue your path and you'll realize you'll be the only one walking it.

Y/N: We're done here...You and I are finished...

Tsubaki: Coward...

Y/N: Fuck you...*whispers*

As Tsubaki stomped alway, I decided to head to cool my head.

Y/N's House: 8:00pm

Saki: Welcome home!

Y/N: Yeah...

Saki: There's some food on the stove if you want.

Y/N: I'm not hungry...

Saki: Okay.

Y/N: I'm really sorry If I'm being distant...I had a frustrating evening is all.

Saki: Would you like to talk about it? I may not be much help but I can at least listen.

After telling Saki about my altercation with Tsubaki and how she labels me a disloyal fiend. Saki put her hand on top of mine and lays me down with my head resting on her lap.   

Saki: Everything she said isn't true in the slightest.

Y/N: But what about you? Don't you feel said whenever Kyoko and I are together?

Saki: Of course, but I always remind myself that your doing whatever makes you happy.

Y/N: Your too good for me Saki, nowadays...I really wish I was with you.

Saki: I will always be by your side, no matter what others say.

Meanwhile at the Burger Restaurant

Kyoko: Hey guys, may I ask you a question?

Yuka: What's up Kyoko?

Esora: You can tell us anything.

Kyoko: Do you think Y/N is better off being with Izumo-san?

Shinobu: What did he do or say to you?!

Kyoko: He didn't do anything, I just feel conflicted...

Yuka: Why do you feel that you should break up with him?

Kyoko: I mean, I just feel that Saki and Y/N are meant to be with each other in the end.

Shinobu: Where is this coming from?

Kyoko: She has been living with him for almost a year, she defended him without a second thought that one time, every time I saw them together she looked so happy...

Yuka: He does seem closer to them than us.

Esora: I would think so, a certain someone pushed him away for a while...

Shinobu: That's all in the past now, Y/N and I are good friends nowadays.

Yuka: Don't worry Kyoko, I'm pretty sure he still loves you.

Shinobu: Is he still gonna be in the unit?

Esora: You wanna kick him out after one show?

Shinobu: It was just a harmless question.

Kyoko: Of course he's still gonna be in, he's been a great fit so far.

Yuka: Kyoko...

Kyoko: But this is something I've thought of for a while, it breaks my heart that I have to break up with him so soon.

Esora: What if he doesn't want to?

Shinobu: Then I'll tell him myself. Let me bring the news to him tomorrow.

Kyoko: Make sure, to tell him is how I feel okay?

Esora: I have a bad feeling about this.

Yuka: You should be the one telling him Kyoko.

Kyoko: Y/N is too nice to be angry at someone trivial.

Shinobu: I hope so.

The Next Day
Shinobu's House: 1:00pm

This morning I received a text from Shinobu asking to meet at her house to discuss something important. As I made my way over to her house and I go the mini building in her yard, I was greeted inside Shinobu's workshop and record room.

Shinobu: Thank you for coming Y/N.

Y/N: No worries, so is there anything I can do for you? Help record a new song perhaps?

Shinobu: Actually this is about Kyoko...

Y/N: Did something happen to her? Is she okay?

Shinobu: She's fine, she just had a message for you. It pains me to say this but, Kyoko thinks you two should break up...

Y/N: W-why I thought she was happy with me?

Shinobu: She is, but Kyoko thinks Izumo should be the one dating you...

Y/N: I don't understand, What's Saki have to do with all this?

Shinobu: Remember that she's been living with you, how she defended you without question when Happy Around pushed you away, or the time you were her manager and gave your all in helping her.

Y/N: Saki was just being a good friend.

Shinobu: That's how Kyoko sees it...

Y/N: What about you? Don't you feel angry that your friend in sad because if me?

Shinobu: I've left that animosity towards you in the past. The few mouths of you in Peaky P-Key, I've grown to respect you as a friend.

Y/N: But you still feel a for Kyoko.

Shinobu: Of course, I don't feel that she should part ways with you.

Y/N: You think so?

Shinobu: Your really an amazing guy, your kind, smart helpful, good at cooking, and stylish. Your the while damn package.

Y/N: Stop, you'll make me blush.

Shinobu: So don't feel sad about this breakup, I want you to be happy with Izumo okay?

Y/N: Alright then, am I still in Peaky P-Key?

Shinobu: You preform for us and us alone...

Y/N: Okay, at least I have a unit to call my own.

Shinobu: If your not busy, how about you stay a while. I've got video games and snacks in the other room.

Y/N: Why not, I'm not doing anything today.

Shinobu: So, got any other girl problems?

Y/N: Well, just one with Tsubaki...

Shinobu: I won't ask then, something tells me that you got into a argument.

Y/N: Smart as always, yeah we had our differences.

Shinobu: Hope you resolve it soon. Do you want Soda or Iced Tea?

Y/N: I'll take a Soda please!

4 hours later: 5:00pm

While playing video games and create music, Shinobu decided to take a nap for 2 hours while I continued to play on her game system.

Shinobu: What time is it?

Y/N: Oh your awake, it's about 5:00pm.

Shinobu: I was asleep for four hours?

Y/N: You way you spelt was like a cat.

Shinobu: Whatever, your a cook right? Make us some artisan sandwiches.

Y/N: Sure, hot sandwiches coming up!

After enjoying a small dinner of chicken and cheddar cheese hot sandwiches, it was time for me to head home, but no before saying my thanks to my humble host.

Y/N: Thanks for having me Shinobu.

Shinobu: No problem, your always welcome here.

Y/N: It's funny, not too long ago you hated my very being.

Shinobu: Haha times have definitely changed. You know sometimes I wish you can be more than a friend to me...but you already have Izumo-san so that is out the window.

It didn't take me long to figure out what she meant by she said, but the fact that Kyoko needed to send a messenger to tell me about our break up made me a little sad. I always remember that Kyoko won't do anything without thinking it through. Lastly I need to settle things with Miyu...
