I wake up to jungkook sleeping next to me. I lean over and cuddle into him. But then I think of everything that happened last night and I have questions, Allot.

I sneak out of the bed and throw on jungkooks hoodie, then head down the stairs to find jin cooking breakfast. He looks up from flipping a pancake and smiles at me.

"Goodmorning sleeping beauty"

He says and I blush and sit at the kitchen island watching him cook.

He hands me a bowl and some strained strawberries.

"Here make yourself usefully and cut these please"

"You got It!" I chime back. I grab the knife chopping the strawberries and placing them in the bowl.

After an awkward silence jin speaks.

"So I take it you have questions right?"

I nod

"So, are you all werewolves?" I ask

"We prefer the name Lycans"

"Sorry" I say feeling slightly embarrassed.

"So are you really all brothers or just a pack?"

"We are a pack but we have been together so long we consider ourselves brothers." He says smiling.

Just then jimin and yoongi walk in. Followed by hobi. Hobi grabs a strawberry from the bowl but jin smacks his hand.

"So I take it you're the pack leader?"

Jin and the rest of the guys chuckle

"No layla. Namjoon is. He's an Alpha male, so is jungkook. He will be next in line as pack leader. Hobi chimes in to say."

"Why wouldn't you guys be Alpha's?" I question confused by all this ranking stuff.

"there is a ranking system. Namjoons the alpha Kira will be our Luna. I'm a salutary. I cook and am the medic for our pack.
Yoongi is a beta the second in command. Hobi is a sentinel. He guards the camp along with jungkook right now, since its not common to have two alphas in a pack.
Jimin and Taehyung are Deltas. And the rest are Omegas." Jin says as he hands the stack of pancakes on the island.

"If it's not common for two Alpha's, then why have two?" I say grabbing two plates to make breakfast for me and jungkook. I put two pancakes on each plate.

Jin sees this and smiles before adding two more pancakes on jungkooks plate. I guess he eats more.

"Jungkook was a pup when he joined us. His father an Alpha was killed while defending his pack from a horde of vampires. We fought along side of him and when he died. Most of his pack was killed. When we surveyed the damage we found his mother dead laying on the floor her throat bleeding out. We thought there was no survivors till we heard a baby crying in the closet. She had hidden him so the vampires wouldn't find him. His scent covered to throw them off.
Namjoon took him in and he's lived with us ever since." Yoongi says as he takes a bite of his pancakes.

Just then namjoon and jungkook wall into the kitchen. Jungkook winks at me flashing his bunny smile then hugs me from behind and kisses me on the neck.

"Morning beautiful"

"morning kookie" He smiles at the nickname.

"What are you all taking about?" Namjoon raises an eyebrow but I know he heard us.

"Um I just wanted to ask questions alpha"

"Please drop the formalities and just call me joon."

Just then kira walks in and all the guys perk up.

"Morning guys"

"Morning luna" they all say. She smiles over at me and I can see why she's their Luna. She's gorgeous, and regal.

Namjoon kisses her and hands her a plate of pancakes.

I smile as I finish making mine and jungkooks plates and walk to the dining room.

I sit down next to jungkook and he kisses my forehead.

"Thank you baby"

"So do you have any other questions about your mate?" Namjoon asks.

"Mate?" I ask tilting my head.

The guys all stop eating and look and me and jungkook.
Then namjoon puts down his fork and holds kira's hand.

"So each wolf is given a mate. It's a promise from the moon goddess that we wont be alone. We never know when they will come but when they do we will know right away."

"So are you all mated?" I ask

"All but one" namjoon says.

I look at jungkook and he holds my hand and bring it up to his lips to kiss.

"You are my mate Layla"

"If I'm your mate, then who's not mated?" I look around the table and see Jin quietly playing with his food. A tear falls from his eye and lands on his hand.

"His mate died tragically In a car accident." Namjoon says
"It's been years ago so hopefully selene will be kind and send him another mate."

"Selene sent me another mate so im sure jin will get another" yoongi says holding jimins hand and kissing it.

"But I thought mating was for you know breeding." I say confused about jimin and yoongi's relationship.

"We don't quite know how it works out. Cause we have never seen this dynamic but we think it's cause they are not Alpha's so they don't have to breed. I've tried reading into our history and this is the first of its kind." Namjoon says

"So we're just winging it. But we also don't feel complete. So something is missing"

I nod then we all finish our food before we all go our separate ways in the house.

Jungkook and I head to my room. Right now it's dark with old  Victorian furniture. I kind of like it so I think I'll keep it this way.

As soon as we get into the room he shuts the door and pins me up against the door. He kisses me passionately and feverishly like he's been waiting all morning to kiss me.

"All this talk about mating has got me wanting you."

I laugh and try to push him off of me.

"Kookie wait. I need to know something"

He moves down to my neck kissing my sweet spot that drives me crazy.

"Yeah baby, ask away"

"Well.... I... can't when you're doing that" I say trying to compose myself. And I feel him smirk into my neck

"How did you know I was your mate?"

He pauses, then looks at me.

"The moment I laid eyes on you on the first day of school"
