Kacies pov:

I awoke to Thalia shaking me.

"Come on. We are going to be late to breakfast if you don't get up." Thalia said. I sat up groggily and looked around the cabin.

"Where-" I started to say before I was cut off.

"Where's everyone else?" Thalia asked quickly. I just nodded my head slowly.

"They are at the dinning hall eating or waiting for us to get there. Either way we should leave now." Thalia said.

I got out of bed and changed quickly. Once I was changed Thalia grabbed my hand and ran out of our cabin and to the dinning hall. We approached the doors to the dinning hall when we heard an arguing match between a boy and a girl. Thalia pushed the doors open and saw that the hunters had their bows drawn and aimed at a small group of campers, some of which were backing away very slowly.

The campers who stayed with the group had swords and spears at the ready. In the corner of the dinning hall where the hunters table was sat Dameion who was content with watching. In front of both groups stood a male camper and a female hunter.

"You have no right to even try to judge me girl!" The male shouted.

"And you have no right to speak to us boy!" The female hunter shouted right back. It took me a second to realize that the female was the newest hunter to join the hunt.

Her name is Andrea. She is five foot four, with ice blue eyes, and raven black hair. She is super pale, but it makes sense seen as how her mother is Khione.

Yes the winter goddess who sided with geae in the last war. Once the war was over Percy apparently convinced not only Zeus but the entire council to grant amnesty to the minor gods who had turned.

Anyways Andrea was still arguing with a really buff guy who had blood red armor on. I believe his name was Trent.

"What is going on here!?" Thalia bellowed, successfully getting both of their attentions.

"T-Thalia! W-What are you doing h-here? Weren't you supposed to get Kacie?" Andrea asked as her face got a little shade of red.

"I got here with Kacie to see-... Is that my jacket?" She asked Andrea while pointing to a black jacket that looked a lot like Thalia's. Andrea went from light pink that was barely noticeable to full on red rose blush that everyone could see.

"Umm. N-n-no?" Andrea said.

"Oh my gods! Not only are you a cold hearted ice princess, but a lesbo on top of that? This is to priceless!" Trent said. "No wonder the hunters hate males! They are obviously to busy fu-" Trent never got to finish for Dameion full on tackled him.

Dameion let out a growl that obviously said you don't mess with the hunters.

Andrea looked at Thalia who had a look of shock on her face. Andrea's face went from horror to absolute sadness as she ran out of the dinning hall crying. Dameion turned to look at her before looking back at Trent, he growled before jumping off and going after Andrea.

As soon as he ran out, Annabeth and Jason walked in. "What's going on?" Jason asked.

Jason's pov:

"What is going on?" I asked the room. No one decided to speak. "So no one knows?" I asked.

"That boy was trying to flirt with some of our younger hunters. Andrea stepped up and told him to back off. He responded with calling her an ice princess which started this whole chain of events!" One of the hunters said. (I believe her name was Tami? No. Tanni? No... Toni!) Toni said as she pointed at Trent.

"We deserve compensation from this stupid boy!" Elizabeth said( I think it was Elizabeth).

I gave a look to Trent that said your in trouble before looking over to annabeth for help. She sighed.

"We can't do anything for Chiron is currently sick with a cold so the most we can do is stick him with chores." Annabeth said.

"Chores? That's all? I want a duel! Me and that thing that calls himself human!" Elizabeth said.

"HOLD IT! You can't duel him or anyone else without Chiron to over see it." Annabeth said.

"Why is that? Last time we were here we didn't need him to watch the duels." Phobe said.

"The last time we had a duel some campers didn't make it. Although if you want to fight you can do it in capture the flag." I said.

The hunters looked at each other before Phobe nodded.

"Fine, Tonight before dinner, hunters vs campers. And this time it's gunna be a war." Phobe said with a deathly calm voice before she walked out of the dinning hall with all the other hunters following.

I turned to Trent.

"Great now we have angry hunters to deal with." I said before a bunch of senior campers groaned. 'Tonights game is going to suck.' I thought.

"It will be fine. We haven't fought against them for a long time I'm certain we can win." Annabeth said which got some of the campers to cheer up.

"Plus this might be fun!" I said which got the rest of the campers grinning. Annabeth turned to me.

"So why are you here?" She asked. I just shook my head.

"Reyna had received a message from Lupa in a dream. Lupa said that camp was in danger for werewolfs seemed to be massing near the camp for some reason. So she sent me to tell you guys and to see if you needed Rome's help. Although you guys seem to be fine." I said honestly.

Annabeth had a serious look on her face. "Ok... Well will you be staying for the capture the flag game?" Annabeth asked. I nodded in response. "Good we will need it. Zain! I need you for a moment." Annabeth said as she walked away.

Dameion's pov:

Once I saw Andrea cry and leave the dinning hall, I was upset. I have spent over ten years with the hunt, and through those years I have grown to kinda care for the girls in a older brother kinda way. I don't want bad stuff to happen to them but I'm not going to fight their fights.

Once she left I looked down at Trent and growled before I jumped off and ran after Andrea. I pushed open the doors with my wolf body and ran past two campers who were about to walk in. I turned and saw that it was Jason and Annabeth. 'Cheater.' I thought before I turned back and saw that Andrea was gone.

I cursed silently as I started to look for her all around camp. She wasn't at Artemis's cabin, or the climbing wall, Zeus's fist, bunker nine, the strawberry fields, the amphitheater, the arena, or the big house. I eventually found her on the beach. she was sobbing quietly while muttering something about stupid males and how they ruin everything.

I walked up beside her and laid down. She eventually noticed me and put her hand on my head.

"Hey Dameion. *sniffle* what are you doing out here?" Andrea asks me. I just let out a whine and a big breath of air. Andrea laughs. "Couldn't have said it better..." Andrea says before laughing again. "It's hard to believe that you are actually a werewolf and not just a wolf. Heck, it's even harder to believe that your a male and can understand what I'm saying." She says.

'Hey! I resent that!' I said. Unfortunately it comes out as a doggy groan. Andrea laughs some more. 'At least you are feeling better.' I thought to myself. She turns her attention back to the lake. (Yes there is sand on the ground before the lake) I put my head down on my paws and relaxed next to Andrea. We sat their for an hour until I heard someone approach us. I lifted my head and looked behind us to see Thalia walking over to us. Andrea looked also before turning back to the lake with a light blush on her face.

"Andrea... We need to talk." Thalia said.

"Umm.. Ok." Andrea responded.

"Do you actually like me... Like that?" Thalia asked. Andrea just nodded.

"Andrea... I'm sorry but I can't be in a relationship of any type right now... Please know that it's not you. It's me. I have to keep not only you safe but the other hunters too, also with Percy missing and all these new hunters coming in, I just can't think about love right now." Thalia said. Andrea's shoulders slumped a little.

"Do you want your jacket back?" Andrea asked in a very quiet and depressed tone.

'She is about to cry again.' I thought.

"No. You keep it. I think it suits you better." Thalia said.

"Thank you." Andrea whispered.

"Oh before I forget we have a war against the campers tonight, don't be late to the strategy meeting." Thalia said.

"War?" Andrea asked as she wiped away a tear.

"The girls are acting like it is. It's only capture the flag, but with how upset and excited they are it might as well be one. Plus it might be fun to shoot some annoying campers." Thalia said before walking away. After a few minutes Andrea sighed before standing up.

"Want to take a walk with me Dameion?" Andrea asked. I barked and got up quickly. "Ok well let's get going." Andrea said as she took a step forward. "Ow!" She cried. "Stupid seashells." She said.

'Wait there are no seashells on this beach.' I thought. Andrea bent down and picked up a old worn out ring.

"What the?" Andrea said. She turned it around and that's when I realized that it was the ring I was going to give annabeth.

I could tell that capture the flag wasn't too far off for the air reeked of tension and excitement. The hunters had chosen Thalia, Phobe, and Elizabeth to go and set the rules for the battle.

"Come on Dameion." Thalia said. I got up and walked over reluctantly to the three girls.

"Wait why is Dameion coming with us? Not that I'm against it." Phobe said.

"Just as a precaution." Thalia said. She seemed to accept it and the four of us left to meet the campers. We walked in to the dinning hall and met with their representatives.

"So any other rules or are we keeping everything the same?" The boy on the left asked.

"We want to be able to use our wolves." Thalia said. This got the one on the left and The boy in the middle to say no.

"If you use wolves we get to use our trainers." The girl on the right said. Thalia looked over to Phobe and Elizabeth, they both nodded in acceptance.

"So we can use our wolves and you get to use trainers. Is this an acceptable addition to the rules?" Elizabeth asked. The campers looked at each other before the girl spoke up.

"We accept." She said. Both groups left the dinning hall and went their separate ways. We walked back and told the hunters we got to use wolves at the cost of them being able to use their trainers.

"So we get to have Dameion fight beside us?" Kacie asked. Thalia nodded which got a bunch of cheers. A few hours later we were in the woods waiting for the horn to start the game. We had assigned three tree nymphs to be refs so we could have a fair game. Artemis was on our side acting as medic, while Grover and some other satyrs were acting as medics for the campers. The horn sounded and some of the hunters went off while the majority stayed back.

Ten minutes passed with nothing happening when all of a sudden 40 campers burst in the clearing and charge at us. My body went into auto pilot as I slashed at campers with my claws, and as I tried to pounce on others as they tried to sneak up on the hunters.

"Dameion! We need you in human form!" Thalia shouted as she blocked a campers axe that was aimed at her head. "Please!" She said to me as she dodged another axe and shot electricity at the axe using camper. I jumped back from a sword swing and barked loudly in response.

'I will not!' I thought angrily.

"Think of the hunters! Or better yet what about your blood lust?!" Thalia yelled. I jumped to the left avoiding an over the head sword swing. I growled in annoyance before I jumped behind a hunter and changed.

Thalia pov:

Dameion took about half a minute to change to human before he jumped over the hunter in front of him and kicked the camper who was attacking him earlier in the face. The camper fell to the floor unconscious. Dameion picked up his sword then started to help us fight off the rest of the campers.

I smacked a male camper in the temple with the short end of my spear. He crumbled to the floor unconscious. I turned around and watched in slow motion as that male camper named Trent fired an arrow at Kacie while her back was turned. I wasn't close enough to stop it nor was I fast enough to stop it. The arrow sailed through the air and hit Dameion's hand as he brought down a devastating over head blow to a camper who was fighting a young hunter. There was a loud clear snap sound as if metal broke. Dameion screamed as he held his hand. Everyone froze and looked at him. He opened his hand and two pieces of a ring fell to the forest floor.

"Are you all right... Dameion?!" Phobe asked in confusion as our guardians hair turned raven black. He grunted and looked up which made every older camper and hunter gasp. Those sea green eyes were unmistakeable.

"P-P-Percy?" Artemis asked. Percy went wide eyed as he looked at everyone. Percy took a step back before running off into the woods. Artemis chased after him which made the rest of us hunters run after her. I was ahead of the hunters and could see Percy transform into a wolf as he ran. Artemis pulled out her bow and fired. The arrow hit him in the side and made him fall. Artemis was twenty yards away when he vanished into sea mist.

Artemis stood starring at the spot he was at for a few minutes before screaming which eventually led to her sobbing.

"Why must you leave me?" She whispered.
