Meeting

((Two chapters in one day? Crazy right? :D no but this chapter turned out short, so I figured I might as well just post it today along with the longer one, and I'll write a longer chapter for tomorrow :) )))

"Let's go."

Jack repeats for the fifth time, standing at the door with his arms crossed over his chest. Mark sighs and shakes his head placing different weapons in a small duffel bag, each made of silver, the Irish man's eyes roaming over each skeptically.

"Okay... Impatient much..."

Mark mutters under his breath as he walks out the door, with Jack following at his heels. Both climb into the car and the green haired man talks Mark through where to go, until they end up at a dense woods.

"How are we going to find him in such a big forest...?"

The red haired man questions curiously his brown eyes moving over to the Irish man, whose blue eyes scanned the trees. He says nothing but climbs out of the car, Mark hesitating but following suit soon.

Jack's eyes never leave the mass of trees as he simply gestures with his head for Mark to follow. The red haired man hesitates, his mind going back to what Felix had said before.

Not Even Jack...

The Swede's voice echoes in his head, and Mark instinctively reaches into his bag, pulling out the gun and cocking it. Jack, who walked in front of him, flinched slightly at the sound, but kept walking, steering his way through the forest with ease, it was clear it wasn't his first time here.

The red haired man follows, his eyes scanning their surroundings however always moving back to the Irish man in front of him, his gaze untrustworthy. If Jack felt Mark's gaze he didn't show it as he led the man deeper into the mass of trees.

Just as Mark is about to ask how far they'd have to go Jack stops in his tracks. Mark narrows his eyes as the green haired man stands still as a statue, his blue eyes moving quickly in each different direction. His ears twitching ever so gently.

"Get down..."

The green haired man murmurs softly, his blue eyes moving to Mark. The red haired man narrows his eyes opening his mouth to speak but is cut off as Jack tackles him to the ground.

"I said get down!"

Jack snarls as he shoves Mark into the dirt. Mark grunts as his body makes contact with the rough ground. Almost as soon as the two hit the ground a large brown wolf jumps over top of them, if Jack hadn't shoved Mark, the wolf would have snapped directly into his skull.

The beast lands on his feet with ease, a pair of predatory brown eyes boring into the two men as they got up, his sharp fangs glinting in the little sunlight that passed through the trees branches.

As the two stand up Mark lifts his gun, aiming it at the beast who didn't move, but instead seemed to grin. Before either can react it leans on its back legs, brown eyes closing, and its bones moving underneath its skin.

Cracking sounds resonate from the beast as it changes form, the fur slowly shrinking back revealing skin, and its body soon standing tall, a man now standing in front of them.

Jack's blue eyes narrow at the man and his mouth instinctively curls back into a snarl, though the man just grinned.

He was fairly tall, had a head full of black hair and a black beard to match, his brown eyes moved in between the two men. Mark still pointing his gun at the man's chest.

"Why hello again Jack... I see you've brought me a snack."

The man speaks in a deep growl, his brown eyes moving to Mark hungrily. Though Mark held a gun, Jack instinctively stepped in front of him, his lips curled back in a menacing snarl, a soft growl rumbling in his chest. The black haired man simply laughs, his laugh a loud echo through the forest, making a few birds scatter from a nearby tree.

"Why so protective of a human?"

He asks, tilting his head questioningly. Jack says nothing, simply continuing to stare the man down. The man laughs again softly before his eyes go to the red haired man who watched him with a bit of curiosity, but also anger, both shining in his chocolate brown eyes.

"Ah. How rude of me... I never introduced myself..."

He speaks almost politely, adding in a sarcastic bow, his brown eyes looking up and twinkling with Mischief.

"I'm Ken."
